"Well, you almost made me scold you, man!" reynaldi said after he managed to drive Maya out.
"Why?" ask Gavin cuek.
"I guess you're really going back to that snake woman. If so, you're the dumbest person I've ever known," Reynaldi landed his body in the front seat of Gavin's desk.
Gavin smiled faintly and shifted his gaze from the document in front of him to Reynaldi.
"Of course I'm not stupid. I don't want to fall in the same hole. Precisely very happy now, could see his shocked face when he found out who I really was. Especially when she apologized," Gavin laughed sarcastically.
"But I think you're still stupid. Not too stupid but stupid enough" said Gavin, ambiguous.
"What do you mean?" Gavin glances towards Reynaldi.
"Yes, I mean, you're smart in dropping, Maya. But you're stupid in judging your own wife. In fact, I'm sure that your wife is very much different from what you think,"
"Suckers! you mean, I thought wrong? so, can you guarantee that what you think is true?" gavin was upset.
"Yes, not really. Just don't you feel that you're too early, judging your wife like that, without going deep? my advice is, Don't play too hard with your mind, try to use your heart to see the good side,"
Gavin was stunned to hear the words of Reynaldi, his best friend. He does not agree but does not argue.
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
The clock showed almost 3 p.m., Gavin seemed to have tidied up his desk and was getting ready to go home. This of course causes wrinkles on Reynaldi's forehead.
"Where are you going, man?" ask Reynaldi.
"You go home, I'm dizzy." said Gavin, with a flat face.
"Going home? it's not even 3 yet, man. Why do you have to go home now?"
"I didn't say I was dizzy. You want to come home?"
Reynaldi shook his head. "You go home first! I still have to study these documents. Don't forget to rest!"
Gavin nodded his head and went out. Meanwhile, Reynaldi shook his head as he stared at Gavin's departure until the man's body disappeared behind the door. Then the man resumed his activities that had been delayed earlier.
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
A very pleasant aroma, from the direction of the kitchen, was caught immediately by Gavin's sense of smell, as soon as the man entered his apartment.
With a step that settles and is as careful as a thief, Gavin approaches the kitchen and peeks inside. Inside, Jelita was seriously putting the muffins into the box.
Ting ....
Jelita stopped her activities and stepped into the oven and pulled out the muffins that Gavin said were very appetizing, making the man gulp his saliva that was about to come out.
Jelita was seen putting some immature muffin dough back in the oven, then the woman resumed her delayed activity earlier.
"Ehem, ahem! Gavin stepped in, while beating to make Jelita squealed in shock until one muffin in his hand fell to the floor.
"God! why didn't the Master come and say something? so it fell, right?" jelita protested with a look of annoyance.
"As far as I am! this is my home. You are too serious to not look around. What if I was a thief?" gavin said as he stepped towards the dispenser to pretend to take a drink, while his heart and mind were focused on the muffins.
"If a thief comes, I'll applaud them for being a smart thief, being able to break into your apartment's pins" Jelita leaned over to pick up the fallen muffins and tossed them into the trash.
"Why did you come home at this hour?" he returned, washing his hands and returning to his pending work due to the recent incident.
"Why are you so chatty? it's up to me to go home at what time. I'm the boss" Gavin said as he landed his body in a chair, making Jelita cringe, astonished that Gavin would rather sit in a room with him. Though he had thought, that the man would definitely go straight away.
"Why, sir is sitting here? not __"
Jelita shrugged her shoulders and chose to be quiet. The woman looks back focused on putting the unfinished muffins she put in the box.
Meanwhile, Gavin tries to resist his urge to put the muffins in his mouth. He tried to shift his intentions, by playing his phone. But the shadow of the muffin still filled his head.
"Finally done!" Jelita breathed a sigh of relief.
"So who's that for?" unconsciously Gavin asked, pointing to the muffins still in the oven. The man immediately hoped that Jelita would be kind enough to make it for him too.
"Oh, that one's for mom. Mama also asked to be made, so that mama can promote her friends as well,"
Gavin sighed in disappointment at Jelita's reply which was completely beyond his expectations. He wanted to protest, why not make it for all of you, but so remembering his words that said he would not eat anything cooked by Jelita, made the man undo his intention to protest.
Ting ....
The oven sounds again, a sign that the oven has finished carrying out its duties. Jelita swung her foot towards the oven and directly took out the muffins from the roasting.
Jelita pulled over the muffins for a moment to cool down before putting them in the box. While waiting, Jelita grabbed her phone and ordered an online motorcycle taxi to send her cakes to the address of the customer.
The silence paused for quite a while between Jelita and Gavin, and no one intended to open their voices. Jelita moved from her seat touching the muffin which turned out to be cold. The woman began to move muffins that were made for her in-laws. Now the box was already full of muffins and fit nothing was left.
Along with that, the doorbell rang and Jelita immediately stepped towards the door, carrying several boxes containing muffins, because the order ojek had just called and informed him that he was at the door.
Seeing Jelita's body that had disappeared from the kitchen, Gavin swiftly got up from his seat and immediately grabbed the muffin owned by his mother. The man ate voraciously and quickly before Jelita returned to retrieve the rest of the muffin boxes.
"What are you doing?" Gavin turned around quickly as Jelita appeared suddenly while her mouth was full of muffins that she had not yet chewed.
"What are you doing?" Jelita repeated her question as she approached Gavin who again turned her body in another direction.
Jelita scratched her head, confused by Gavin's attitude. The woman exhaled her breath while shrugging her shoulders. He was actually still very curious, but considering that Abang ojek online was still waiting for him, Jelita chose not to care and lifted the remaining muffin boxes back to the front.
Gavin immediately breathed a sigh of relief, but only for a while because Jelita again appeared. Jelita grabbed the box that was special for her in-laws, and intended to close it tightly.
"Why is the muffin missing three? it was full." said Jelita with a frown. Then the woman looked at Gavin who was pretending to look at her phone, suspiciously.
"Why do you see me like that?" gavin asked with a sharp look, hoping that Jelita was afraid of his gaze.
"Yes, who ate the muffin?" tukas Jelita who looks not afraid of the gaze of Gavin.
"You must not accuse! you may forget because of the sauce. You think it's full, it's not, '" Gavin tried to deny.
"I'm not accusing, and I don't forget. Obviously you ate it. Still stuck in the corner of your lips and cheeks," Jelita pointed to Gavin's face, making the man soften his lips and cheeks.
"What was wrong with eating it? that would be for my mama. It's wrong for myself not to make it for me," said Gavin who can not dodge anymore.
" Don't you say you won't eat my cooking? that's why I don't make it out of waste later if it's not eaten," Jelita won't be blamed.
"What I mean, rice and side dishes. If the cake is different," said Gavin not to blame.
"Just like!"
"Different!"
"Yes!"
"Udah, now that you are getting ready, I will take you to your mother's house" Gavin concluded as he passed away.
"Basic freak!" curse Jelita while closing the muffin box back.
