Jelita came out of the room, with a face that looked fresher and her clothes had changed. The woman looks like she wants to step into Gavin's room to say goodbye to her husband. Because no matter how cruel, the man was still her husband.
"Where are you going?" Jelita shrieked in shock, hearing Gavin's voice that turned out to be sitting on the sofa.
"I-I was about to knock on your room. I want permission to go out for a minute, to meet my best friend,"
"What is permission for? if you want to go, you go." said Gavin, chuckle.
"Emm, sir, may I borrow your money for the freight? I'll pay you back from there" asked Jelita very carefully, biting her lower lip.
Gavin raised his face and looked at Jelita sharply. "Don't I tell you I won't give you a dime? do you think I'm kidding?"
"I-I'm not asking, but just borrowing. If you don't want to give it, it's okay! I can walk there." Jelita passed away, looking at the door. The woman again shrank in shock, as soon as the door opened suddenly, and a male figure appeared in front of her. Not only Jelita who was shocked, the man also looked shocked by the presence of a woman in front of him.
"Hi, is Gavin around?" asked the man after his shock subsided.
"Mr Gavin is inside, Mister!" answer Jelita politely.
"Oh, thank you, Ma'am!" said the man unknown to Jelita.
The man almost stepped past Jelita, but suddenly stopped because of being held back by Jelita.
"What's up, Mbak?" the man scrunched his forehead.
"Master, can you borrow 20 grand? later I promise to return it through Mr. Gavin," said Jelita very slowly, almost as whispering.
The man stared at Jelita's bead for a while, to see if Jelita was lying or not. Then the man reached into his wallet from inside his pocket and took money out of it.
"Emm, I don't have 20 grand, Ma'am, but, Ma'am used this first, and it doesn't need to be returned," the man gave me a piece of money worth 100 grand.
"But, this is too much, sir!" reject Jelita who feels bad.
"It's okay! Maud. Just wear! maybe Ma'am hasn't paid off from Gavin,"
Jelita immediately gasped in surprise, she looked back at her appearance. "He must have thought I was a maid, Gavin," Jelita's inner voice suddenly felt sad.
"I'm going in first!" the man stepped in after Jelita nodded her head.
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
Hey, Sob. Who was that girl?"
"She's my wife" replied Gavin, in an annoyed tone.
"What?!" don't you joke, man! It's not funny to know" said Reynaldi, who is Gavin's best friend.
"Did you see if I was joking? I'm really serious,"
"When did you get married, and how could I not know? and why doesn't anyone know about your wedding?" ask Reynaldi, streak.
"Mama asked me to marry her, because her parents died from being hit by mom and dad. If about why no one knows, because I do not want anyone to know," explained Gavin with a lazy tone.
"God! I thought she was your maid, man."
"His appearance does fit like a maid. Even Sari who was clearly a maid alone was more fashionable than her. That's why I'm so upset, Rey. I really didn't expect to get married to a girl like that,"
"I'm sure it won't help, Rey. No matter how we polish him, he'll stay that way." Gavin, heaved his breath heavily.
"But what I see is different. I can assure you that she is beautiful inside out. Why do you see the physical? regardless of whether she is ugly or not, however she is still a woman that you must appreciate, let alone she has become your wife." said Reynaldi while crossing his legs.
Gavin flinched hearing Reynaldi's words which he thought had a point. The man is seen taking a deep breath and throwing it back into the air quite long and heavy.
"Actually, not just because of his physique, but rather his initial intention of marrying me. I'm sure that he wants to marry me, just for the sake of treasure. Try if I'm poor, I'm sure that she won't marry me, and even to look at me she won't."
"Where do you know that she's that kind of woman? you don't equate all those women, Vin."
"Well, how do you think she accepted marrying me when she didn't know me at all? but, because he knew that papa had a big company, without thinking long he immediately accepted. Especially if it's not for treasure?" gavin said with a cynical grin on the corner of his lips.
Reynaldi exhaled, and shook his head. The influence of pain due to Maya insults really imprinted on the mind of her best friend. To the point of making the man think negatively of women.
"Had he not given his wife any money" Reynaldi whispered to himself.
"Easy! now what's your purpose in calling me here for?" Reynaldi switched the conversation, before the man before him grew even more upset.
"Tomorrow, I'm going to start replacing papa, so I want to ask you to help me, you want to?"
"Why should I not want to? if I refuse, I am rejecting the fortune." said Reynaldi with a sparkling face.
"Good then. At least I'm a little calm now" said Gavin, whose tone was relieved, but not with his face that looked like there was a burden.
"Hmm, how about we go to Denis' cafe now? he called me earlier, asked us to go there. Were you not contacted?"
"There anyway? I just didn't pick up, because I lost my mood because of that woman."
Reynaldi chuckled while shaking his head. Just this time, Gavin lost the mood just because of a woman.
Reynaldi smiled thinly almost imperceptibly, because there was something different he saw from the look on his best friend's face. The man was sure that, in fact, Gavin did not really hate the woman he called his wife.
"So how? are we going to the cafe?" Reynaldi, repeated his invitation again.
"Yes, we're going there. Than here also to do." Gavin stood up from where he was sitting and was about to step . Suddenly, the man stopped and turned his head towards Reynaldi.
"Rey, my marriage problem, only the two of us know. Denis don't know!"
"Why? he is our friend too. He would be even more angry if he found out from someone else. He'll feel like he's not being considered because I know, and he's not" Reynaldi said, objecting.
Gavin seemed silent and confirmed the words of his best friend.
"All right, then! he can tell if I'm married." concluded Gavin finally.
"Well, that's dong! oh yeah why does your face from earlier still look grim? is there something you're thinking about?" Reynaldi looked at Gavin's face with his eyebrows twitched.
"Emm, nothing at all. It's just your feeling. Let's go now!" gavin's denial that passes immediately goes ahead of Reynaldi.
"Where is he now? I just seemed too cruel not to give him money. Is he really on foot?" Gavin sat in with a completely unpleasant feeling.
"Ah, why do I think of him? it's her own fault why didn't she beg me."
