Elsewhere, precisely in Gavin's office, Jelita stepped into the lobby with a bushel containing lunch for Gavin. This time Jelita has slightly changed her appearance but not too significant.
Jelita circulated her gaze, in all directions amazed by the size of her husband's company. Jelita's behavior, of course, attracts the attention of employees who pass by. Some wanted to go out for lunch and some just came in.
Jelita tried to smile kindly at the person she passed by, even if it was just a strange look she got in return.
Jelita looked around like she was looking for something.
"Oh, that's the reception desk," Jelita's inner voice as she walked towards the table that read receptionist.
"Hurray, Ma'am! I want to meet Mr. Gavin, where's the room?" jelita asked politely and did not forget to slip a smile on her lips.
The two women at the reception desk did not immediately answer. The two actually cross-eyed each other and simultaneously looked at Jelita with a condescending look.
"Sir, why look at me like that? is there something wrong with my appearance?" Jelita immediately felt uncomfortable with the gaze of the two women. He even looked at his clothes.
"There's nothing strange anyway" Jelita's inner self with a frown.
"What's the point, Miss wants to see Mr Gavin?" finally one of the receptionists opened his voice, even with a tone of voice that was far from polite.
"Oh, I'm gonna take this lunch, to him. Can you tell me where the room is?" Jelita was not at all offended by the attitude of the two women.
"Sorry, Miss! we can't allow people to meet Mr. Gavin, recklessly. So we very much beg that Miss leave this place,"
"Lho why is that? I came here because I was asked to be with Mr. Gavin. She said she wanted me to come to her office, bring her lunch, "Jelita refused to go.
The two receptionists looked at each other again and then laughed mockingly.
"Miss, if you want to laugh, please don't be here! because this is an office not a place for jokes,"
"Who is joking? I'm serious, Ma'am."
"Miss, your speech is very unreasonable. There's no way a Mr. Gavin would eat food from a woman like you," the yellow-skinned receptionist ledek is langsat and taller than his partner.
"What kind of woman am I? is it because of my appearance that you don't think, eat it you two can say like that? Ma'am, you guys are receptionists, you know what a reception desk job is? No matter what someone looks like, you should still serve well and remember the most important thing, 'politeness'." said Jelita by suppressing the word polite.
"Right you say, but we also need to stay alert. Especially with a woman like you who we believe is one of Mr. Gavin's fans other than that crazy Mother Maya,"
"May?" gumam Jelita.
"You mean the two of you, Maya came here to meet with Mas Gavin?"
"Yes, Miss! A week ago the woman forced her way in, and confessed that she was Mr. Gavin's girlfriend. Fortunately, Mr. Gavin had advised to immediately drive away the woman named Maya if the woman came," explained the receptionist back.
"But that's Maya, and I'm not Maya. So I'm asking you both to tell me where Gavin's mas room is,". Jelita accidentally mentions Mas Gavin, to make the two receptionists know that he has a close relationship with Gavin.
"Sorry, Miss still can't. You better get out of here!"
"Why can't it? I was here indeed asked by my husband to bring his lunch," Jelita began to acknowledge his status.
"His husband? what do you mean Miss, you're Mr. Gavin's wife?"
"Yes, I'm his wife" replied Jelita firmly.
The laughter of the two receptionists suddenly broke, assuming that Jelita was boasting.
"Miss, it's still noon. It was a dream," the laughter of the two of them sounded.
" I'm not dreaming. I'm really Gavin's wife. Jelita is still trying to convince.
"Yes, we know you're right. Completely fantasizing about what he meant," came back the sound of laughter of the two of them.
"I'm not lying at all!" Jelita spoke again firmly.
"Then try calling, Pak Gavin!"
"That's it, my phone missed because of the rush earlier" said Jelita.
"Well, do you think we're stupid? If you want to find a creative reason that makes little sense, miss."
"So, you two mean, I'm lying? I swear to God, I'm not lying!" Jelita is still trying to convince the two receptionists.
"Don't carry the name of God, Miss! now you better get out of here. Otherwise we'll get a security guard to pull you out." One of the women raised her voice.
"I don't want to! I want to keep giving my husband lunch. If you don't believe me, you can call Gavin's time and ask him the truth,"
The two women fell silent. The two of them suddenly felt anxious, afraid that what Jelita said was right or not.
"What's this?" suddenly a man's baritone was heard.
Jelita turned her head back and immediately approached the man.
"Father!" Jelita grabs the hand of the man who turns out to be Ganendra, her father-in-law.
"Sir Ganendra? papa?" muttered the two receptionists who instantly began to sweat coldly.
"So it's true that he's Gavin's wife? when did Mr. Gavin get married?" the inner two receptionists were with faces that turned pale.
"What are you doing here, Jelita?" ask Ganendra gently.
"Here, Pa will deliver lunch for Mas Gavin." replied Jelita.
"So why are you still here? why don't you go to the room?"
" I don't know where Gavin's room is, Pa. I asked them first,"
"Did they make it hard for you?" ganendra's forehead rose slightly upwards, probing.
"P-Pak Ganendra we have no idea that this mother is Mr. Gavin's wife. We thought she was one of the women who idolized Mr. Gavin, sir." one of the receptionists immediately grabbed her, before Jelita opened her voice. They were afraid that Jelita complained about their attitude earlier.
"Why did you answer? I was asking my son-in-law" Ganendra said coldly and with a flat expression.
"Why didn't you call your husband?" Ganendra again asked Jelita in a very gentle tone to her daughter-in-law.
"I missed my phone in the apartment, Pah. It was a hurry here," Jelita grinned the horse.
"Other times, don't forget to bring your phone! Wait let papa call him, let's get you down." Ganendra grabbed the phone from his pocket and immediately contacted Gavin.
"Yes, Pa?" gavin's voice came from the other end of the phone.
"Your wife is downstairs, going to your room. You pick him up now!" the word Ganendra, typical of a leader.
"Lho why didn't he call me? and why didn't she ask to be delivered to the receptionist?"
"Don't ask too many questions! you bring your wife. If not Jelita papa take her home,".
"Don't, Pa! I'm down now! remember, Pa, don't take my wife home" Gavin screeched from the other end of the phone. The man was afraid that his father would take his wife home.
Meanwhile, both receptionists were increasingly afraid to hear Gavin was going down.
