Chapter 17 - The Lunar Eclipse

The next night the three brothers are ready in suits to go to the company birthday party of Celyn's parents who are their mother's clients.

"Where's it, Bi? He said he'd come?" ask Novan.

"No, he said, not feeling well to rest" replied Abi as she stared at the closed door of her room.

"Tumben want to leave?" ask Farhan.

To be honest, Abi did not have the heart to leave Sean alone at home. But she has to come because if Celyn says no, her mother could lose an important client. I don't want Abi to leave. He intended to leave just for a moment to congratulate Celyn's parents, after which he went straight home again. He also did not feel at home in the same room as the girl who was obsessed with him for two and a half years.

"I really don't have to leave Sean alone at home, but you know for yourself, right Bang how is Cellyn? I'm afraid it affects the cooperation of Mother with the parents of the girl" replied Abi who was approved by Novan.

"Hm, we're there absent doang. After that immediately pull out." said Novan.

Bruum. They each went to use their own car. Because when they come home they have different goals. After the event, Abi wanted to go home to accompany Sean. Farhan wants to go to the bookstore. Sean on the balcony of Mother Shafira's room saw Abi, Farhan, and Novan who had come out of the gate of the house. Now there's nobody home. The girl looked up at the sky. The night sky is bright, the stars are scattered like they are going to spill, and what attracts Sean's attention is a yellow eclipse of the moon that meets orange. This also causes Sean not to come with Abi to go to the party.

After seeing the three brothers had left, Sean immediately ran to the swimming pool behind the house. And jump straight into the water.

"Hot... hurts.." sizzled Sean while holding his arm.

The girl swam back to the bottom of the pool. He swam back and forth at the bottom of the pool hoping that the pain and heat were not too pronounced.

Every lunar eclipse, sirens and mermaiders will experience something similar. If they were on land then, their scales would suddenly appear. Their fingernails are elongated and tapered. Their eyes are shining. And parts of their bodies overgrown with scales will feel pain and heat that becomes. They should immediately get into the water to reduce such effects.

If there are sirens or mermaid in the sea. They will experience strangeness in their bodies. This is inversely proportional to the sirens and mermaids that are on land. If they were in the water, their tails would suddenly become legs even if they were still in the water, they would turn into human beings in the water, and they could not control their strength.

Especially for the sirens, usually their killing appetite will increase during a lunar eclipse.

After a few minutes Sean came back to the surface. The girl looked up at the lunar eclipse. The girl closed her eyes hoping to telepathize with the sirens at sea. But unfortunately can not, because their positions are far apart.

Sean raised his head again then chuckled. "And it looks like I caught their stupidity" Sean said. "At first I went up to the mainland to escape the wrath of the Sea Goddess, but now I'm stuck feeling for that human being" he added.

We're going to the party. In a magnificent house, filled with people sitting on chairs provided while enjoying some performances such as singing, musical art performances and others.

Abi and his two brothers sat at one of the tables filled with food. But the three of them had no appetite at all. The three of them also did not focus on seeing the show on display. Each of them was wailing in search of the whereabouts of old man Cellyn.

"This is the one with the show why use bumping everything??!" grumbling Novan is upset.

"Try calling Mommy, she must be with Cellyn's parents" Abi said.

Novan immediately took his phone and called his mother. Just calling, Shafira immediately picked up the phone from her son.

"The three of you have arrived?" ask Shafira behind the phone.

"Udah, Bun." replied Novan.

"Where's mother? And where is the client of the Mother? We must congratulate immediately." asked Abi.

"Just come to the VIP table, we're all here" Shafira replied.

"Well, thank you Mother" Abi said before hanging up the phone.

"Come, I'm lazy here for a long time." asked Farhan.

They immediately rushed to the VIP table their mother had intended. And sure enough, Celyn's parents were at the table, including Celyn, also sitting at the VIP table. The three of them immediately congratulated Celyn's parents and then immediately left from there. But it was Abi's unlucky day. Cellyn chased him all the way to the courtyard of the house.

"What's wrong?" abi asked with his flat face.

"You're going home yet?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Can't you stay any minute?" celyn asked as she hugged the spoiled Abi arm.

"No!" answer Abi with a sniff. Then get in the car and get out of Cellyn's house. The guy rushes home worried about Sean being alone at home. He was afraid that Sean would disappear again just like a few days ago. Moreover, Sean said that he was not feeling well, because that was also the level of his worries really almost crossed the line. Now the main goal is just to go home, and accompany Sean.
