After their breakfast was over, Kenan immediately left for work feeling very upset. How not to upset his beloved son and wife instead choose breakfast with food brought Alexander.
Unlike Kenan, after breakfast Alex did not go to work but accompanied Kaylin in the room.
"Alex you're not going to work?" Kaylin felt uncomfortable because since then her husband continued to be in the room, making her not free to do anything.
Alex simply replied with a headband, without turning his gaze on the laptop screen on the table.
"But why?"
"Because I want to take care of you twenty-four hours."
"What's? So you seriously want to take care of me twenty-four hours?" kaylin asked in disbelief. He thought Alex said that in the sense of guarding from afar instead of staying by his side. "But what about your job?"
"Here I'm at work, don't you see?" Alex stayed focused on his work while occasionally looking at the files at hand.
"Yes, but what if you get fired for not going to the office?"
Alex looked at Kaylin and laughed. "Who would dare to fire me? You forgot I owned the company?"
"Yes too" Kaylin nodded her head. "But isn't the owner of the company Grandpa Moses?"
"That was before, but now all the assets of old Grandpa's belong to me." He said honestly, because since the incident Kaylin fell from the steps of his grandfather immediately moved all assets belonging to the Moses family on behalf of Alexander. Changing the previous will, where Raline's name was once listed as the owner of twenty percent of all Moses family assets.
"But still you can't be careless, if there's a problem in the office who's going to be in charge?"
"There's Boby and the old Grandpa's confidant who handles all the work while I'm looking after you."
Kaylin is now silent, because there is nothing else she can use to make Alex go.
"As far as you go" Kaylin chose to lie down and cover herself with a blanket, but she reopened the blanket when she remembered something. "How's Grandpa's news? Has he come home?" he wanted to know the news of his grandfather because since the incident fell from the stairs never once Kaylin met Moses' grandfather.
"The old grandfather is still in Jakarta, because he has to take care of the problem—" Alex did not continue his words because he did not want to mention Raline's name, fearing Kaylin returned traumatized.
"Take care of what?"
"What's Raline's problem?" ask Kaylin. Because he knew Kenan brought their problems through the law, and now Raline is in prison because the application of city prisoners by Moses' grandfather was thwarted by Kenan.
Alex sighed deeply, choosing to finish his work and walked closer to Kaylin. "Don't talk about him anymore." He said while rubbing his woman's face.
Kaylin touched Alex's hand that was on her cheek. "I don't want to talk about it, but does Grandpa not love me as his daughter-in-law's granddaughter?"
"Why are you talking like that?" Alex frowned.
"Because Grandpa never once came here to see me." Kaylin lowered her head.
"Grandfather loves you very much, trust me. He didn't come to see you because your brother and I didn't let him."
Kaylin immediately looked at Alex in surprise. "Why don't you give me permission?"
"Because we're afraid, the old man will discuss the matter..."
"Raline?"
Alex nodded his head.
Hearing this, of course Kaylin was moved because Kenan and Alex were so protective that Grandpa Moses forbade to come to visit. But still Kaylin wants to meet Moses' grandfather because however he has become part of the Moses family,
"I want to see Grandpa."
"For what?" Alex stares intensely at his woman, trying to dive into Kaylin's path of thought that suddenly asks to meet her grandfather.
"Of course to look at Grandpa's state and talk to him."
"Better don't, focus on your health don't think about anything else."
"But Alex I want to meet grandfather, please." Please Kaylin.
Alex took a deep breath. Actually, he also wanted to bring Grandpa to Kaylin, because his Grandpa was very eager to meet his grand daughter-in-law.
