Next day. As we talked about last night, Alex and Kaylin are now in the hospital where Raline is being treated.

"Alex put me down, embarrassed to see the security guard's grandfather and father." Kaylin's whisper is currently being carried by Alexander. Her decision not to wear a wheelchair because her condition had improved, it made her have to be in her husband's arms.

Alex also dropped Kaylin not because of shame on his grandfather or on the two officers who were on guard, but because they had arrived at the intended place. While Grandpa Moses who saw the arrival of his grandson and grandson-in-law who looked harmonious reflex drew both corners of his lips.

"How are you doing, son?" greet Moses to Kaylin.

"I'm good, how's grandpa?" Kaylin asked back after greeting.

"This old man can still breathe as long as your husband doesn't throw a tantrum." Moses replied jokingly, making Kaylin laugh.

"There's enough of the bases, we better visit now, so you won't be outside the Mansion for too long."

Moses' grandfather, who knew Alex was worried about Kaylin, opened the door to the room where Raline was.

"You better get in, let Kaylin Grandpa take care of her outside." Moses does not want chaos between Raline and Kaylin, especially to endanger the safety of his son-in-law's grandson again.

Alex looked at Kaylin and entered the room after receiving his wife's approval to enter alone. Now he was in the room where Raline was sitting on the bed with an empty look.

There is a sense of compassion when he saw Raline's situation like that, especially when he saw Raline's hand bandaged which can be ascertained cut when the woman was about to try to kill herself.

Alex was silent as he walked closer to Raline, sitting in front of the woman with a feeling of sadness and disappointment as one.

"Stop acting like this!"

Raline smiled bitterly at Alex's face, the face of the man she had longed for almost a month now in front of her, but he could not touch it as before because there was an invisible distance between them.

"Then what should I behave like?" ask her cynically.

"Be brave enough to take responsibility for your mistakes."

Raline laughed out loud. "What's my fault, brother? Making Kaylin fall for my love for you, was that a mistake? Is wanting to have you a mistake? You and I love each other is that a mistake?"

"Yes, it's all wrong!" alex answered briefly and firmly to make Raline speechless. "I beg you to stop that stupid act! Don't hurt yourself again at least for Grandpa's sake, he's a man who loves you sincerely even if you're not his biological grandson. Even the old geezer chooses to be by your side, defending you despite having to deal with his own granddaughter."

"Grandfather." Unknowingly tears trickled down both of Raline's cheeks recalling how her grandfather struggled to get her out of prison, even keeping her without the slightest sense of fatigue.

"Be mature, don't think of yourself because so many people are hurt by your selfishness!" Alex patted Raline on the shoulder before moving out of the room.
