Kaylin silently stared in disbelief at the answer Alexander gave, an answer that sounded more like a heartbroken man.
"If Raline had loved you, would you have loved her?" Kaylin stood up, walking closer to Alexander who was now on the balcony of the room.
Alex silently did not answer Kaylin's question, his eyes staring up at the sky that looked cloudy covered with dark clouds.
"Tell Alex, are you gonna love her?" Kaylin repeated her question with quivering lips restraining the turbulent taste within the chest. It felt like Kaylin wanted to cry because she was trapped in a complicated relationship. But all that came out of his lips was a mocking smile, mocking at himself who was already in the wrong place, in the midst of the two who might love each other.
Yes, Raline loved Alex for sure, and if Alex loved Raline too. Then where's the place? Will he just be a figure in the love story of Alexander and Raline.
"An Alexander!" Kaylin repeated her question with a rapidly beating heart.
"I'm..."
"Stop!" Kaylin covered both her ears. He could not hear Alex's answer. Let's say Kaylin was a labile person, asked Alex to answer his question but now chooses not to listen. Kaylin was afraid and not ready to accept the reality that would make her hurt especially to have an impact on her pregnancy.
Alex walked over, lowering both hands that covered Kaylin's ears.
"How I feel doesn't matter, just believe one thing you're my only woman."
"But I want your love Alexander." Kaylin said, but only in my heart. "Why is it so hard to make you fall in love? If I knew you'd have a hard time loving me because there was already another woman's name in your heart, I would never want to marry you." Again, it was just in his heart.
Ah...
Kaylin shouted while shaking her head.
"Hey.. Why are you?" Alex touched Kaylin's face that looked tense.
"No, I'm fine." Kaylin was about to go back into the room, but her steps stopped when her waist was pulled quickly to make her body in Alex's arms.
"Stay here!" Alex kissed Kaylin's hair, smelling Chrysantheium flowers that made her comfortable. "May I look at him?" alex whispered while rubbing Kaylin's stomach slowly without stopping kissing her hair.
Kaylin thought for a moment. "Byeah, I want to see him too. Let's go to the hospital."
Alex stopped Kaylin's movements and laughed, leaving Kaylin confused and happy because for the first time he could see Alex laughing so hard, because usually the man was so stingy to laugh. Never mind laughing, smiling is also very rarely done by the man.
"Why are you laughing?"
Alex flipped Kaylin's body facing him. "I want to repeat our hot night in Dubai" he whispered by kissing Kaylin's neck.
"Oh.., uh wait a minute!" Kaylin shoved Alexander's bare chest. "You mean us..?" Kaylin looked at Alexander nervously and her heart was racing. His cheeks instantly heated up holding in shame at the thought of what they were going to do.
