Brother Nathan cleaned up the sauce stains on my shirt, right on my stomach and subconsciously stroked my stomach. I froze, too, with his treatment.
"Sorry! There was sauce on your shirt." Brother Nathan said and I just nodded.
"Thank you very much Brother for driving me home and giving me this chicken noodle!" My words are sincere.
"Together, next time don't go out for the night!" Said Nathan.
"Yes, brother, then I go in first. Assalamualaikum." Saying I'm saying goodbye.
"Wa'alaikum salutations." He answered and I closed the car door and walked into the house with a sneak back.
I lay down and caress my stomach.
"You happy, baby? We can meet dad and eat chicken noodles, even unconsciously I'm petting you son!" I smiled as I imagined the event that had just happened, until I unconsciously fell into a deep sleep.
In the morning, I woke up refreshed. How surprised I was this morning did not feel nauseous at all or wanted to vomit, even my appetite increased and made Mother happy.
"Mom today I can get out? Ega and Neysa asked for help with their thesis, ma'am." Say it while eating turmeric fried rice for twice this morning.
"Yes can! You just go, son! Do you seem to be happy today? Must be because you want to meet your friends?" Say Mother.
"The rich are so ma'am, hehe. . ." Saying while chuckling.
"That's why you can't help me stay in the shop! You should enjoy your youth, son." Saying with a warm smile.
"I'd rather help Mom than go-away not clear." My speech.
"You're! Uh it's like there's a car stop! Did Neysa pick you up, son?" Ask Mom.
"Ngga ko Bu! We'll make an appointment at the college, maybe just a parking ride, ma'am." My speech.
"It looks so." Mother said, but soon we looked at each other when we heard the greetings of a man from outside.
"Assalamualaik." Her speech.
"Who is Mom?" Ask me wonder.
"Mom doesn't know either, let's see." Mother said and we went out, knowing our house was small so that the sound from outside was heard into the house.
"Wa'alaikum hail, my goodness, Nathan! Who do you think you are?" Say Mom and open the door.
"I'm sorry to interrupt early in the morning, is the cake already there?" Ask her.
"There's Nak! Let's go in first, I happen to have breakfast again. You go to breakfast first! Later I'll pack your order." Said Mother while inviting Brother Nathan to have breakfast together.
"By Mom! I happen to not have breakfast." Said Brother Nathan without shame, very different attitude when he was with me.
"I'm sitting here! This is my daughter's favorite meal! But I'm sorry it's all that bad, I hope you like it, son!" Mother said as she took the food into Nathan's plate, while I just stayed by the door watching their interaction.
"Va! You even stay there? Here dong! Meet Nathan Nak first! I'm gonna make a cake for Nathan's son." Mom and I walked slowly to the dinner table.
"Yes, Mom." Speak to me and sit nervously next to Brother Nathan who is engrossed in his food.
I was stunned to see how greedy Brother Nathan ate the fried rice turmeric made by Mother until it was not left.
"Well, are you dumb? You are full, right? Here's to me!" Said Brother Nathan who immediately took the rice on my plate.
"Ta-ta-pi." I stammered.
"Why? Not sincere? Let's just say it was chicken noodle pay last night!" His words were sniffling and I immediately widened my eyes surprised by his words.
"So Brother does not sincerely give me chicken noodles semalem? If you're not sincere why give it to me?" Ask me ketus.
"Forced." His words and before long the sound of saltpeter Brother Nathan, again I was surprised.
"Thank you very much, Mom! The fried rice is so good, ma'am, can I order fried rice like this every day?" Ask Brother Nathan.
"Of course you can, kid! You can come here every day and have breakfast with us." Say Mother.
"Good Mom, I'll be back here tomorrow. Then excuse me, and here's the money, ma'am." Said Brother Nathan while handing over the money to Mom.
"This is asking, son! Mom, take the change first." Said the mother, but was stopped by Brother Nathan.
"No, ma'am, for the change mother." Brother Nathan said kindly.
"You are a habit! Thank you very much, son! May your sustenance be doubled." Saying mother's words while praying.
"Aamiin, then excuse me. Assalamualaikum." Nathan then left the house.
"Wa'alaikum greetings, be careful son!" Say Mother.
"City. . . Eva. . ." Call Mom who wakes me up from my daydream.
"Oh yes, Mom!" My speech.
"You really need refreshing, son! Already there go with your friends, let's not daydream constantly." Say Mom while cleaning the dining table.
"Here Mom, let me go!" Said I wanted to take over the plate in mom's hand.
"No need! It's there you go, be careful on the way yes." Mom said, then walked into the kitchen.
"Byeah! I'm getting rid of the story?" I said kidding.
"Yes is there! I'll kick you out, let you meet your friends quickly. Who knows, you will not daydream, rich chicken sick!" Mom said then laughed.
"Wooh! Same with sick chickens! So much for this mom!" I sulked.
"Haha. . . It's already there! The bus will be full." Say Mother.
"Yes already! Since I was kicked out by Mom, I say go yes Mom. Assalamualaikum." I kissed mom's hand.
"There! Be careful on the road, wa'alaikum salam." Said mom and I went to the bus stop, again I was surprised.
"Hurry in!" Said a man in the car with the glass open, making me stupefied.
"You deaf?" Say it again.
"It-it doesn't need sister! I can take the bus! Excuse me." I refused, and hurried away.
"There is no rejection." Say it and pull my hand towards his car, at the end I was delivered to the campus by Brother Nathan.
Because many things surprised me, suddenly my stomach felt cramped and I grimaced.
"Why you?" Ask Nathan, then pull over his car.
"My stomach is wrinkled, brother." Saying while grimacing.
"Which one? This one?" Ask Brother Nathan while stroking my stomach and miraculously my stomach is no longer bruised.
"Sister already! I'm doing it!" I said awkwardly.
"We're going to the hospital now." Said Nathan.
"It-it doesn't need sister! I'm doing fine! It was just a little creaking, now it's better." Said me and we continued our journey, but I was astonished.
"Loh Brother! This is not the way to college!"
I said wonder.
