ORION

ORION
The Bored Boy Living

The room was filled with an uncomfortable smell. School Health Unit. The room was quite quiet, because the one who served there was having affairs outside. And there was only one male student standing at the window.

Lamenting his bad luck by imagining the no-no, he stared down from outside the window with a blank look.

After a while he closed his eyes and tears flowed down his face. He pulled his body forward. Dropped yourself off the 3rd floor.

The srek!

He thought he would fall down in a few seconds, but when he opened his eyes he was still hanging between the windows.

“You what are you?”

There was the voice of a man who was resuscitating himself back to reality. His back collar almost ripped because someone pulled him from above.

The man, Orion then rushed to pull his body so as not to fall. Make him sit on the floor, then look at him sharply.

“What do you want just now?” ask Orion again.

Some students and teachers who were outside the UKS immediately sighed in relief. One or two people sat on the floor so the leg so that his body was weak without energy.

Another case with the student, he remained sitting on the floor with his head bowed without moving a bit. Orion's question is not even answered.

“Nak, what's your name? Speak,” said Orion who tried to make him open his mouth.

He shook his body for a few times, and continued to call out to him. Even the teacher and his friends who called him were not spoken at all.

“Say something, do you have a problem? Or something happened?”

There are a lot of bruises everywhere. It is most commonly found in the arms and legs. For a moment, the disciple finally raised his head. Look at all the faces around him.

“Want to drink?” The male teacher offered a glass of water but the student shook his head in refusal.

“At least tell me what happened to you?” Orion asked again.

“I'm just tired. Tired of working and going to school every day. I'm tired! Huweee!!”

He was silent and then crying suddenly. The student said only two sentences and cried and screamed. It was as if everyone was persecuting him, when he was not.

“Yes, geez! Hey Toni! Don't cry that way! Tell me clearly!” peek at one of his friends.

“I was sent to school but also to work. The evening never stops except for breakfast or lunch. I'm tired, why do I have to do this all day?” he was crying constantly.

A life of great concern. For Toni, he went to school but also worked all day. The teachers also just found out this includes all the bruises obtained because Toni worked too hard.

Plaque!

Orion slapped Toni in the face hard. Instantly, his cries and chattering stopped in an instant. Now, their eyes were on Orion. While Toni was stunned with a resigned face while holding her face that had just been slapped.

“Killing yourself is not the way to solve the problem. Whatever problems you have,” Orion advised.

Everything's silent. For a moment the room became quiet in an instant. The people outside were curious but reluctant to enter.

“You tried to do that earlier, am I wrong?”

Toni no longer answered and her tears just flowed back. But as Orion stared intently, he hurriedly wiped it off.

“Your parents told her to?” Orion asked again.

“Sorry sir in advance. Thank you for helping this kid. And he had problems, but many times I tried to ask for sure he just cried. Then, he's an orphan. Now she is cared for by her aunt and uncle.”

One of the teachers who was Toni's homeroom teacher explained. Orion understands that well enough, and it could have been reported but the boy didn't want it at all.

Instead, she kept following her aunt's orders. Including working.

“It was unfair treatment. Rather than complaining like this, why didn't you report this earlier?”

“Ma-sorry me. I need it too. I mean need money,” replied Toni stammeringly.

“You should have just said. That you don't want to work and just focus on school. Think about your future, son! Never give up!” firmly Orion while gripping his shoulder and looking at him seriously.

“It's quite funny. I told her not to give up while I was in the past exactly like her,” Inner Orion.

Thas right. Orion was not much different from this disciple. All his troubles, burdens and hard things were borne but he ended them by suicide. In retrospect, the present Orion has not changed.

His desire to die. Escaping reality, that's the nature of Orion who is fed up in his life.

“I hope you don't experience the same thing as me. Therefore persevere and do what you can while you are alive,” Orion whispered to him.

It is like hearing each other's feelings. Orion held back the sobs, but instead Toni came back crying loudly. As if replacing Orion crying.

So did the teachers and classmates who came to hear all the expressions of Toni that became the problem. They flood with tears, feel sympathy, support and comfort him well.

“Alright, sir, mom. I'll go, the rest—”

“Wait!” shout Toni. He pulled the end of the sleeve of the Orion shirt that was about to leave the UKS.

His sobs are still heard even though they are soft. He tried hard to hold back his tears when he was about to talk to Orion about something.

“Help me. Since you have foiled my plan to jump from the window, you have to help me!” he insisted, he asked for help while wiping his snot.

“Help? What am I supposed to do for you? I am not obligated to it,” he said coldly.

Everyone there looked at Orion in surprise. Seeing him, Orion somehow felt like a criminal and abandoned the disciple.

“Hah, okay. Alright. I can't really solve the problem. Helping also seems not to be making drastic changes. So don't expect me too much.”

Orion let out a short sigh and raised Toni's body so she could stand up straight. The glare of the eyes that had not fully given up made Orion seem to trust him.

“She has the same feelings and fate as I used to. But he still has the fire of spirit, not the fire of death,” Orion chirped with a faint smile.

“First, what do you really want? Say everything, including silly things you like.”

“I want to go to school and get as much knowledge as possible. Play, read novels, comics and watch a movie. I will not work until my mentality is ready,” replied Toni with a stiff chest puffed.

“Then do it. Tell your aunt or uncle. If you need to get out of the house and find a place for you to take shelter. If you need to report those who have forced a child like you to go to work!”
