ORION

ORION
Desire Gista

Orion alludes to something sensitive for Gista. Of course Gista was reluctant to comment on that. At first he seemed silent and looked the other way, then turned to look at Orion.

“It has happened, and the time is long enough. Why tell me it's useless?” chirps Gista, he dodged again.

“Unfortunately it has to do with the problem that today happened, right? I mean, any kidnapping that could happen at any time. It was Chameleon, and his actions refer to the beginning of what happened 30 years ago,” Orion said.

Again Gista was silent without a word. He doesn't seem to want to talk about this at all. But Orion was always stubborn, because it was for his own sake. Chameleon was the one who got up the first time, and he had to know the ins and outs of it.

Including attitudes, traits or others possessed by Chameleon. That will be useful in the future.

“Hah, alright.” Gista sighed. He gave up, finally told me something.

“Chameleon and his colleagues are just like you said the world is doomsday. Its power capable of imitating anything it makes us trouble.”

“I already know that. All I'm asking is, about what happened 30 years ago. From start to finish and tell me a little who Chameleon really is,” Orion said.

“At first it was fine, Orion. But you know, from beginning to end it doesn't exist. In the end it just happened, when we were all away on vacation,” Gista said staring down with her frowning forehead.

“You mean? Ah, I don't understand.” Orion complains because Gista's words feel ambiguous to him.

“Yeah, there was a time when we were feeling tense because of something. And that's because someone's following us. Until finally, some of us saw faces that often change,” explained Gista.

Gista intends to tell how Chameleon's powers are revealed. And it happened because of accident. The nature, attitude or anything related is still far away. It is completely invisible.

“I've seen him do something bad. And according to the law, I acted behind the scenes and would crack down on it without a word.”

“You killed him?” ask Orion.

“Ya.”

For some reason, Gista's words make Orion remember the story of Endaru who lost his parents.

“Does this mean Enderu's parents are Chameleon?” inner Orion thought.

Orion was still doubtful of his thoughts. He then asked again, “If you kill Chameleon, that means he also killed someone, right? Then, Chameleon who is now it ..”

“Chameleon has many names, and several crimes. But only that time I saw him kill a little boy. Already so, even if I kill him, he can move the body to anyone,“ explained Gista.

Now, he understands. That Chameleon has a crafty nature. However, his mind never escaped with the story of Endaru. But it was impossible if he would ask Gista especially with Enderu himself.

For many other reasons, Orion had to endure it while he could.

“Chameleon is alive,” says Mahanta.

“Yes. I-i understand. That means wherever he is, that would be hard to find. I'll help find him,” Orion said.

“No need!” pekik Gista kicked the table and got up from his chair.

Mahanta and Orion were shocked and then fell silent while looking at Gista.

“Gista, a—”

“I said no need! Never get involved in anything!” yelled Gista full of anger.

“You're a hobby of grabbing someone else's talk, yeah! You listen to me first! I helped you solely because of this body!” sahut Orion raised his voice.

“Chameleon you can't compare to a City Hero though. I hope you won't meet him, because one day you'll die forever! You understand!” ketus Gista raised his voice even more.

“I know he's dangerous! And I know he's much stronger than Caraka or Eka, but my body's at stake!”

“Then let me—”

“I won't let it! I'll do it myself, because from the beginning I lived to question it. At least before I die,” Orion said seriously with his words.

With Chameleon, Orion will find out. Including the mysteries written in the ancient book that Endaru found at that time. Ancient gods, rare blood, shrinking bodies and people are overflowing with power.

Orion won't let go of a valuable Chameleon, because he's the only way to determine Orion's destiny.

“Why are you so stubborn? That Chameleon, even if you talked to him about your body, would he understand? It is still unclear,” said Gista.

“I know. Meeting him was no guarantee that I would get the answer I wanted. But at least I can see who Chameleon really is, and see what reaction he will show when I ask that.”

“Reaction? Do you think that's enough?”

“Of course! All the actions of his horns, the nature and gestures of his face and body are noteworthy. Is he still young? Is he old? Polite or brash manner of speaking, I can determine something from it,” Orion thought.

Bruk! Gista sat back with the same feeling, endless annoyance. He stared hard at Orion.

“That's why you're a mentalist, you dumbass,” grumbled Gista.

“Newly this time I heard Miss Gista say rudely like that,” Inner Mahanta.

“Haha, whatever. I am not strong. Even if I die when faced with him is okay, you obviously know what my true purpose is, right?” he said with a bland laugh.

The drap! The drap!

Orion stepped foot to leave, then opened the door and occasionally he glanced back, finding Gista still emotional.

“I'll meet him. Anything and any way until I get him! That woman better sit still there!” ketus Orion stared at Gista.

As they exchanged glances with each other, Orion seemed stunned by Gista's sparkling eyes. It was like looking at the crystal in her eyes, very bright and beautiful.

Bruk! Orion collapsed unconscious. Mahanta hurriedly approached him.

“What did you do to her again?” ask Mahanta who is very worried about the condition of Orion.

“Her eye bags are blackened, let him rest,” Gista said coldly.

It was Gista who made Orion sleep so comfortably. However, Gista wants to put him to sleep forever because he does not want Orion to meet Chameleon.

Moreover, his physical condition had changed since his body shrank.

“I won't let you kill yourself again, Orion.”

Gista muttered softly as he looked down gently by massaging his forehead a little.
