Adel's Day

Adel was confused looking for his mother-in-law who suddenly disappeared. Plus the state of Nao's apartment is dark like never before.

Suddenly the lights are on. Showing some people Adel already knows.

"SURPRIZE, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADEL" they said simultaneously.

Adel was a little surprised then he smiled faintly. Unexpectedly he was apparently bullied by his best friend even his mother-in-law took part.

Adel felt a sense of relief because the people he was looking for were in plain sight.

Adel then walked up to them. His smile faded as his gaze found the girl standing beside Nao, the girl he said was named Sifa.

The girl immediately waved at Adel while smiling sweetly "Hi, I'm Sifa"

Sifa then invites Adel to shake "Lo don't get me wrong, I'm her childhood friend Nao, her neighbor. Just got back from Aussie"

Adel looked at the girl's arm. He thought he should shake hands with the girl or ignore her. He was still unsure of Sifa's explanation. He thought to wait for Nao to explain.

Adel cleared his throat "Gue Adel" and shook hands with Sifa.

"Happy birthday well, wish you have a great life and a great journey with Nao" Sifa said later.

"Thanks" Adel smiled faintly.

After that, Adel received words from Dita and her best friend Nao. Not to forget Asri also said that to his favorite daughter-in-law.

Now only Nao who has not said. Adel looked cynical as he looked at Nao. He must have been very upset with Nao. Plus he's waiting for an explanation from Nao.

"Del, happy birthday" said Nao but there is no word from Adel. Adel pursed his lips while folding his hands.

Nao took Adel's arm "I know you must be upset and angry with me. I'll explain everything later when this little party gets round. So, please smile first yeah"

Adel's gaze still looked annoyed. How not, for days he thought about the thing that made him restless.

"Come on Del, smile first, smile" Dita showed a smile with her lips and two index fingers.

"Yes Del, smile" Kevin followed.

Dita stared flatly at Kevin "What the hell are you following along again"

Kevin just stuck out his tongue in response. It's so exciting to tease this fierce girl, her mind.

"Ah already, blow out the candle first. Del cepetan inflatable candle melted keburu tuh" interrupted Andi.

As Andi said, the candle-blown event began. Before Adel begged first and then blew the candle. Not forgetting the sound of clapping joined in.

Cake cutting event. Who will Adel give his first cake to? Could Nao?

After cutting the first cake, Adel took it and he held the cake. Then he handed it to Asri.

Thin cheers for Nao sound "Well, it turns out for mama lo" Kevin chirped.

"Who knows the second one" Andi said.

Second cut. Adel stared at Nao long enough as if to signal that he would give the cake to her. That made Nao confident. But apparently something unexpected happened.

"Make lo, Andi" said Adel later. He thrust a second piece of cake at Andi even though his gaze remained on Nao.

Andi's face immediately looked confused. She did not expect Adel to give her the cake. He looked at that piece of cake "Make me not Nao?"

Adel averted his gaze from Nao and nodded his head to Andi "Yes, make lo, Andi"

"Thanks ya Del" Andi smiled stiffly as she felt bad for Nao.

While the others tried to hold back their laughter so as not to offend Nao. But not for Kevin, he involuntarily let out a laugh making Nao stare intently at him.

"Don't be mated" said Dita reminded.

Kevin rolled his eyeballs "Kayak lo only not"

Adel could only shake his head "Already, already, eat the cake"

Dita nodded and began to pick up pieces of cake that had been cut into small pieces by Adel. It was also followed by the others except Nao.

Apparently Nao sulked. He was a little upset because Adel did not give him the first cake or the second cake.

Malvin who sees it codes Adel so that he restores Nao's mood. Malvin tells Adel to feed Nao.

Adel just follow Malvin's advice. He looked at Nao "Ngambek? That's just crashing"

Adel then handed Nao a spoonful of cookies, "A, this is special for you"

Nao stared flatly at the cake. I don't know if he's offended by Adel's treatment. But he still ate the cake.

Adel smiled thinly "Well that's dong, good boy"

Nao smiled as he screeched. Still he was devastated by Adel's adorable behavior.

Their laughter and small talk made the time go by feel fast. Although Adel was still awkward with the presence of Sifa, but it was covered with other chats.

It is getting late afternoon. One by one they began to say goodbye. Adel's mood is happy because tomorrow Nao and his friends will no longer be indifferent and different to him. In addition, Adel can be calm in doing the exam.

Now only Adel, Nao, and Asri are still in the apartment to clean up at a glance.

After finishing, Asri said goodbye first because he knew Adel and Nao would need time together to chat.

"Mama goes home first yes, kasian papa will eat malm alone" said Asri.

"Aren't we the same, ma?" ask Nao.

Asri shook his hand "No need, mama has also ordered a taxi"

Asri turned to look at Adel "Mama saying goodbye to Del, sorry that had made you panic"

Adel smiled faintly "No papa kok ma, be careful on the road ya ma"

Asri hugged Adel "Yes dear, thank you" she switched to embrace Nao.

The door closed after Asri's departure. Silence, that's what happened. There was a slightly awkward feeling that Nao felt because Adel was already waiting for his explanation.

Both of them sat on the sofa. Adel then took a sofa cushion to put on his thigh. His gaze ahead. He did not want to look at Nao before the man began to explain.

"Del, I know you must be upset and angry with me. I'll clear everything up. So.." Nao's words were cut off when Adel turned to look at him.

"No, I trust you. Everything was clear, I had thought about it" Adel then smiled sweetly.

It made Nao directly hug the girl gently. She was so relieved to know Adel believed her.

"Sorry was a cake for Andi. After that I also want to make you upset" Adel's remark made Nao reflex to take off his embrace. Adel looked there.

"But I already bribed" Adel continued.

Nao just stared fixedly at Adel while smiling thinly.

Adel raised his hand "Where is my kadoku?"

Nao looked at the palm of the hand "Nothing"

"Aish, stingy you" Adel then folded his hands while pursing his lips.

Nao immediately chuckled. How funny his future wife is.
