"You who?" Ask Elica the woman.

"Who are you?" Ask Elica back.

"I'm Evelyn, why are you here. Who the hell are you. And where's Alex?"

The bead looked at Elica with its confused face, and the two looked at each other as if their minds could be read through the eyes. It is very surprising that Elica met this mysterious woman.

"I... Alex's stepson"

Can Elica see the woman was more surprised after she said that.

"Stepson? So you, Alex's ex-wife's son?"

"Yes"

"Didn't they split the house, why are you here?" Evelyn asked curiously.

"Alex asked me to come here" Javan Elica explained, and managed to make Evelyn more curious about what was going on with her relationship.

"Is your mother here too?"

"No"

"You staying here? You two are?"

As if starting to get caught off guard by the woman's question, Elica deliberately rolled her eyes in front of Evelyn. And managed to make the woman frown at the look on Elica's face.

"Are you actually here to see Alex, or just to interview me?. If you want to see Alex, she's in her room with a fever" Elica said.

"God. Alex sick? Could he have a fever for picking me up last night?" Evelyn said in an anxious tone.

"Every night?" Ask Elica.

"Well, he picked me up because my car broke down. And last night we were rained down"

Elica's guess is right. Now Elica knows the reason Alex left last night to see this woman. And I don't know why there's a little bit of pain coming in his heart.

Elica smiled wryly, she began to wake up so as not to let the taste appear deeper. Because Alex is a jerk guy who always plays with women. Including her and her mother.

"You can go upstairs to meet her, and there's warm porridge in the kitchen. You can also bring it" said Elica

"All right, I'm going to her room now" Evelyn quickly goes to the kitchen and brings the warm porridge to Alex's room. He did not know if the porridge was made by Elica, but the woman just took him to Alex's room above.

Elica looked at Evelyn who was climbing the stairs while carrying a bowl of porridge in her hand. For a moment she could only shut up, and then Elica decided to leave the house.

Elica walked down the street in the same clothes she was wearing yesterday. Even he hasn't cleaned himself, just washed his face and brushed his teeth while at Alex's house earlier.

After a few minutes he walked, he stopped in front of the minimarket. His stomach was rumbling because he only realized that he had not had breakfast. Elica also went to the minimarket to buy a bread and instant coffee. As she was going to the cashier to pay her, Elica stopped in front of a shelf containing a milk box for pregnant women. He remembered that now in his stomach there were also living things that needed nutrients.

Elica looked back at the instant coffee in her hands, she seemed to think. Then Elica immediately put the coffee back in place, then took the milk box pregnant women and mineral water. He decided to stick his stomach with bread and mineral water, while he also needed to drink the milk for the health of the fetus in his stomach that still looks flat. Elica also paid for her groceries to the cashier, and she waited for the queue while stroking her stomach, without realizing her lips even smiled a little. Because deep down, Elica has also begun to love the presence of the fetus.

Although sometimes he is dropped again by reality, if the father of this fetus is the person he hates the most. But there is no reason for Elica to hate her flesh and blood that is still in her stomach.

After finishing, Elica got out of the minimarket and stopped the taxi to go home to Leo. She knew her mother was worried about her right now. In the taxi Elica opened the bread she bought earlier and ate it, hand while stroking back her own stomach.

"I promise to keep you, be healthy here" said Elica softly, can be said only herself who heard his voice. He tried to strengthen his own heart for the possible pain he would experience later. Given if Alex has also been with women in her past, so Elica is determined to take care of this child with her own hands. Without feeling her tears just came out, but she quickly wiped it. "Alex are you sick?" Evelyn said as she walked into Alex's room. The man still closed his eyes, and Evelyn took a compress on Alex's forehead to dip into the cold water in the basin.

As Evelyn put the wet handkerchief back on Alex's forehead, the man suddenly woke up and blinked his eyes.

"Elica" Alex said softly when his eyes were still not open.

"Alex you're awake, it's Evelyn. You have a fever right now"

"Why are you here? Where's she?"

"Who? You mean your stepson? He's downstairs. You rest Alex, I bring you porridge. Let me feed you first huh"

Alex ignored Evelyn's words, he sat down and leaned on the headboard.

He was seen adjusting his breathing after all his life had accumulated, then gazing towards Evelyn.

"Why did you get into my room?" Alex asked with a face he didn't like.

"I'm here to thank you and bring your jacket that you lent me. But that kid told me you were sick. So I'm here, I'm not good for sure because you helped me last night. I made porridge for you, eat yes so that I can recover quickly." Evelyn replied with a worried tone, but Alex was still silent.

With her initiative Evelyn also fed a spoonful of porridge into Alex's mouth, and unexpectedly Alex turned her face. The sign she refused Evelyn's bribe.

"Comeout. I'm not a kid, I can do it myself. And get Elica here"

"So her name was Elica. What did you tell her to come here for? Aren't you and her mom getting a divorce?"

Evelyn asked and got a look of dislike from Alex.

"You don't have to interfere with Evelyn with my business. If only to return the jacket, you can leave now" replied Alex coldly.

"But Alex___"

"I said go Evelyn, you have ears don't you?" Evelyn is upset with Alex's attitude and decides to leave.

"All right, I'm going. I can't believe you're throwing me out of here now. Hope you get well soon Alex, I'm gone"

The woman comes out of Alex's room, she complies with Alex's words to tell Elica to get the girl to meet Alex. But Evelyn did not find the whereabouts of Elica in this house. Finally, he tells the waiter to tell Alex if Elica goes out.

Without thinking for a long time Evelyn also left the luxurious Alex's house. For a moment he thought about Alex and the girl's relationship, could it be that the two of them had something to hide.

Elica has arrived at Leo's house. He went in and met his mother who was sitting in front of the television.

"Elica where were you last night?" Hilda asked as soon as she saw Elica coming.

"I'm at my friend's house, Mom"

"Have you had breakfast?"

"Already"

"You didn't go to the hospital to see Leo?"

"I'll clean up first Mom, then I'll be there"

"alright. Mommy wait for you, we'll see Leo together"

"Yes"

Elica went into the room and prepared to take a shower. After a few minutes after the bath, he looked fresh and tidy. He went downstairs and met his mother to go to the hospital together.

Arriving there, it turns out Leo has been moved to the nursery. Because after his surgery yesterday, Leo's condition has improved even though he is still unconscious. But luckily Leo's critical period is over.

"When are you here?" Elica asked Vincent and his wife.

"I'm here from yesterday, and my wife just got here this morning to bring me some change of clothes and food" Vincent replied.

"Oh so. Introduce my name Elica and this is my mother" Elica told Vincent's wife by extending her hand.

"My name is Meghan. Nice to meet you" the woman named Meghan returned Elica's hand with a smile. And smiled at Hilda.

"Thank you for accompanying Leo"

"No problem, Elica"

"Has no Leo's family been informed of Leo's current condition?"

Ask Hilda suddenly.

"The Leo family is abroad. But I've already contacted his little sister, so he'll be here probably tomorrow" Vincent replied.

"So Leo has a sister?"

"Yes Elica. If it's not the wrong age with you"

"Ah I just found out. By the way, don't you want to go home first, Vincent? You've been here since yesterday, you can rest at home. Let me and my mom keep him here"

"No need for Elica. I'll keep Leo company until he wakes up, I don't mind here anyway" Vincent said. He just didn't want to leave his best friend, suddenly there came someone who would hurt Leo again. That's what Vincent is worried about right now.

And Elica doesn't feel good if Vincent and his wife continue to be here. But how else, it's their own will. Finally Vincent and his wife took a moment to come out on the grounds of wanting to buy fruit. And let Elica with her mother sit in the chair that was in Leo's nursery.

Elica stood up and walked over to Leo's bed. He sat down on the chair beside the bed. Elica feels sorry and guilty for Leo, this good man was the victim of helping him. Elica's hand touches Leo's hand, and she whispers something into Leo's ear.

"Be aware of Leo soon. I'm sorry, because of me you became like this. I hope after this you don't hate me"

Hilda can see if her daughter is crying while whispering something to Leo. He became sad to remember that Leo also helped him and Elica at a time like this. But Hilda also did not expect that Leo would experience this.

"Today I'm going to Daddy Mom's house. Is Mommy coming?" Elica asked as the two walked out of the hospital.

"Mommy's not ready for Elica yet"

"Elica, are you here, baby?" The father immediately approached his daughter and hugged Elica.

"Dad, there's Mommy up ahead. You want to go see her?" Said Elica carefully.

"You're here with your Mommy?"

"Yes Dad. And there's something Mommy wants to talk to you about"

"Alright, Daddy's going to see her. Come on ahead"

"Okay captain" said Elica then holding her father's hand spoiled. There is a close relationship between the father and the child, but Elica's father does not know if Elica is currently pregnant.

They reached the living room, and showed Hilda standing staring at Elica and her ex-husband. They looked at each other for a while, and seeing that awkwardness, Elica immediately broke the silence by telling her parents to sit down.

Elica sat beside her father in front of Hilda. The woman had not opened her voice in the slightest.

"Elica said there's something you want to talk about?" Said Elica's Dad.

"Yes" said Hilda, bowing her head.

"Say, I'll hear it"

Hilda nodded and raised her face towards the ex-husband.

"I wanted to apologize to you before, for all my actions. I'm sorry that I abandoned you two back then and chose another man. But now I'm going to get a divorce from Alex, so I hope you'll accept Elica to have her stay with you" Hilda said, surprising Elica and her father.

Because Elica does not know if her mother will ask her father to accept her back.

"Mom, what are you talking about?"

"Yes Elica, Mommy wants you to come back to live with your father. Mommy doesn't want you to get dragged into this. And I'm sorry too, actually Elica's pregnant"

Hilda said to her ex-husband.

Elica's father was shocked to hear Hilda's words. As well as Elica, she couldn't believe that her mother would say that now. Though he intends to say it later with his own mouth on his father.

"What did you say!!" Jerking Elica's father at Hilda her facial expression turned furious. He stood up from his seat and approached his ex-wife. He immediately pulled Hila to stand up.

"Tell Hilda plainly, what do you mean?" His words demanded an explanation to Hilda, and the woman was already crying"

"Elica... Pregnant son Alex. I'm sorry, I can't take care of her" Hilda said amid her cries.

Like being struck by lightning in a hole, Elica's father immediately stared at her hearing.

Unexpectedly, Elica's father slapped Hilda's cheek very hard. Blood came out of the corner of his lips, his ex-wife.

"Daddy, what's Daddy doing" cried Elica standing up from her seat and trying to keep her father away from her mother.
