Part 48's

The sound of the cry of a small child was heard in the big house. Irene had tried many times to calm Nancy who continued to cry incessantly for no reason.

"Ma.na.i... i.na..." The cry of the little toddler continued to thrash in Irene's sling. Nancy calls Alex "i" which means "Daddy" and calls herself "Na" which means "Nancy".

"Yes dear. Your Daddy will also be home. Don't cry on Nancy dear" said Irene patting Nancy on the back.

Alex has been abroad for three days on business. And tonight she's scheduled to go home, but a few hours ago Alex told Irene that her plane was Delay. Until he'll be home late to the house, and it'll be around midnight.

And it just so happened that tonight it was raining that Irene was very confused to overcome Nancy who did not want to sleep and continued to cry.

After a few minutes later, Irene tried to give Nancy the formula she had been denied. But it turns out the little girl was already willing to drink it, and not long Nancy was asleep.

Irene took Nancy to the room so the little girl could fall asleep. After her, Irene took her mobile phone to contact Alex asking for her current whereabouts.

The call rang but Alex had not yet picked it up. Irene was still trying to contact Alex but it was still the same, Irene thought maybe Alex had fallen asleep in the car and was on his way home. Finally he decided to sleep next to the already slumbering Nancy.

Alex is already in the car, he feels very tired because of his business trip. He closed his eyes while waiting for the car that was brought by the driver to arrive home. Because his watch showed at 11 p.m.

"Damn" said a man who tried to step on the brake pedal of the car but did not make the car slow down.

Alex, who heard it, opened his eyes. He felt something strange about the car he was riding in. The car was running very fast and out of control.

"What's wrong?" Alex was in the back seat of the driver.

"Sorry sir, it looks like the brakes are blong. I can't control the car" the driver replied, still trying to focus on looking out onto the street while stepping on the malfunctioning brakes

The atmosphere was even more tense because at this time the car will pass through a dark slope. That's because the location of the big house is far different from the bustle of the city.

"How is this, sir?" The driver kept freaking out.

Alex immediately took his phone, and there were many missed calls from Irene that he had not heard. But he intends to contact someone and heed the call from the aunt.

"Hello. James, keep a close eye on my phone's GPS. There was someone who sabotaged the car I was riding in. And it looks like I'm going to have an accident, come immediately" Alex sounded a little panicked giving orders to his confidants.

("Okay sir, I'll be there soon")

Not waiting long, Alex decided on the call quickly. His car has been repeatedly docked to the kana and to the left.

He tried to get up from his seat in the back and moved to the front in the driver's side seat. Alex also tried to help by pulling the handbrake but the car's speed still hasn't slowed down, while the driver still controls the steering wheel which is getting harder in motion.

"Master, please put on a seat belt, it's dangerous" the driver said, reminding Alex. Alex did not heed it

Feeling that their efforts would be in vain, a crazy idea popped into Alex's mind. But that is the best way according to him.

"Banging his car into a tree" Alex said firmly.

The driver was surprised to hear Alex.

"But Sir..."

"Collision his car into a tree now. If not soon we'll be through the abyss." Alex said it.

But the driver instead thinks that the idea of Alex is very dangerous, because after all this car is traveling at high speed. And it will ringsek if directly bent to the tree.

"Quick do!!!" Alex shouted as they were already approaching the cliff slope.

It was unexpected that the driver of Alex shook his head in disapproval and still chose to keep his steering wheel on the streets.

Alex who began to grow angry finally tried to seize control of the steering wheel. And the two seemed to be driving the car.

"Donuts, put your hands away" Alex choked

"No sir, it's dangerous. We can't survive crashing this car" replied the driver.

The car drove uncontrollably and plunged into a very dark abyss.

There was a loud bang the sound of a car entering a ravine. It turns out the car is no longer shaped because it rolled several times to the ground, also seen smoke coming out of the front hood of the car that was riding Alex.

"Elica...." The man only said the name Elica then after her closed her eyes with her face and body covered in blood.

"Aw" said Elica as her finger sliced through the knife she used to cut the fruit.

"Why Anami?"

Said a man who was none other than Ren

"It's okay. Just not careful" replied Elica looking calm.

Elica is currently in Ren's apartment, as the man contacts Elica to take care of her because she is not feeling well. And Elica can only obey him, and intends to peel the fruit for this friend.

"Are you Okay?" Ren asked again when he saw the look on Elica's face that looked different.

"Yeah I'm good." Elica Sahut. Ren then brought Elica a box of P3K equipment.

"Let me help you"

Ren bandaged Elica's finger sliced through the knife with plaster. The man looked at the dreamy Elica.

"I think you're having a problem?"

Elica regained her senses upon hearing Ren's question. He just nodded slowly too.

"No. It's just that my feelings are suddenly not good" replied Elica.

"Yes already. Go home, maybe you need to be near your dad. I've also been better after taking the medicine"

Elica just nodded at Ren's words. He finally left the man's apartment. But somehow Elica's feelings are still very erratic, like being restless for no reason.

He went into his apartment and saw his father asleep in his room.

Precisely what was in his mind now was the state of his son. Elica can only pray, hopefully nothing happens at this time whether it's on the child or Alex.

In the big house.

Irene looks very panicked when she gets the news that Alex has an accident and is now in the hospital.

He rushed to the hospital to see Alex. Fortunately Nancy was still asleep, until Irene left Nancy to Aunt Christin.

After traveling for a few minutes, Irene arrived.

He goes straight to the administration to ask Alex where he is.

It turns out Alex is in the emergency unit and is about to have surgery.

Irene was informed if Alex's condition was very critical, and the fate of the driver from Alex also experienced the same thing but not until the surgery.

After two hours, the operation was finally completed. The doctor came out of the room.

"Doctor how is the patient now?" Irene asked to intercept the Doctor who had just come out.

"Are you a patient's family?"

"Yes Doc"

"Let's come to my room"

"Good"

Now Irene was in the doctor's room while sitting waiting.

Not long after the doctor came after he finished changing his clothes after surgery.

"How about Doc, please explain now" Irene's frown was impatient.

"Yes Madam. The patient is currently in critical condition. Several bones in his leg and neck were broken. And a lot of internal injuries because the patient's body was hit very hard. Plus the patient's head also suffered quite serious injuries."

"Will she be okay after the doctor's surgery?"
