Please Let go of me
Chapter 81 - An appointment at the Bar

Simon put his feet in a barrage to get into his house, so exhausting work made him want to rest. But the sound of a cell phone ringing in his pocket, immediately he grabbed it and raised when he found out if the call was his best friend named Felix.

"Hello."

"Hello, how are you?"

"I'm good, what's calling me?"

"Ck, aren't you glad I called?"

"Not so, I'm so tired and just got home from work. Uh, why did you call me? Are you off duty?"

"I? I'm so tired of being a soldier. I called you because I told you that I was already in Indonesia. What would I be without you?"

"Heh, I'm sick of hearing disgusting words from your mouth."

"Damn! At least meet me now."

"I'm very tired and want to rest, tomorrow. How's it?"

"Don't disappoint me, I've already sent my location. Come and meet me, no word no!"

"Alright, you forcible."

Simon was leaving soon, when he had just reached home. He drove back to the location that Felix had set, but his heart cursed when he found out where their appointment was. Suddenly a voice came from the phone which immediately raised him in annoyance.

"Are you on your way? Why so long?"

"I've arrived and now I'm outside, are you crazy?"

"Come on, don't be such an innocent man. Don't we go to bars often? Go inside, don't be like a snot."

"Damn."

Simon immediately disconnected the phone, got out of the car and immediately got into the bar. The sound of very loud music and people dancing made the crowd so excited. He continued to look for the whereabouts of the friend, who turned out to be already in Indonesia.

Moments later, he saw a man waving at him in charismatic footsteps. Some sexy women try to tease him, but he never lyrics even once. "Why did you bring me here? Like there's no other place." He glanced at Felix who was hugging the two women on the left and also on the right, while gulping down alcohol in a small glass.

Simon sat face to face with his best friend, drinking a small glass of alcohol as a welcome friend. Felix smiled and immediately chased away the people around him and sat close to his best friend. "It turns out here quite well, too," he said, breaking their silence.

"So, I'm also here for the first time."

"Did I hear wrong? It's a very famous bar, but you just set foot here. So, you've never been to a bar again?"

"I'm not interested, just focused on my job and my daughter's."

"Come on, enjoy your life as it used to be, when we were soldiers." Felix poured the alcohol back into Simon's glass, and the man finished it in one gulp.

"It's enough, I can't drink more. I came alone, and driving a car was dangerous."

"What'sthis? Why are you suddenly so weak, usually spending so many drinks while with me" Felix sibled with a wry smile.

"I still love my own life, and will not harm myself in a drunken state of not being able to drive a car."

Felix just let out a heavy sigh, considering that his best friend had changed and that was not very well liked. Given the togetherness of those who are drained away are not left. "All right, I'm not gonna force you. What if we dance? So many sexy women and you get to pick one."

"I'm not interested," rejected Simon who is not passionate if adjacent to other women, especially with sexy women wearing clothes lacking materials.

"Are you gay? Enjoy your boring life. Is this the influence of the hijab-wearing women who volunteer in Palestine? Have you found it?"

"Of course."

"I thought you would change if you were with that woman. I used to approve of you being in touch with him, but your changes made our friendship even more distant, and don't tell me if you want to change your beliefs too?"

Simon was silent while holding his head that felt dizzy, he did not want to answer and immediately grabbed the phone from inside his pocket, contacting his assistant and his trusted person to come to pick up.

"Fetch me at the city bar, right now!"

"Okay, sir, I'll be there."

Simon got up from his seat wanting to leave very drunk due to drinking too much. "I have to go!"

"We just met, and you want to go home? I want you back to being Simon as you used to be" Felix cried, seeing the departure of his best friend. "Because the Muslim woman broke my friendship" he murmured, sipping a small glass of alcohol.
