Pledge of Love Rumi

Pledge of Love Rumi
coffee made by Isti

Such a long night, accompanied the Ustadz Irsyad who was still awake in silence on the bed.

He looked at the big picture on the wall.

The sweet smile of Rahma in the photo made Ustadz Irsyad smile, he also laid his body in a tilted position supporting his head with one hand.

"Just go to sleep...." He said slowly starting to close his eyes. I don't know why the longing came back to his mind.

Days that change again, Sunday, even at the end of the month.

The day that Ustadz Irsyad returned to study at the mosque near Isti's house.

Because the weather in the sky looks cloudy, even since his arrival a few minutes ago, it does not discourage ustadz Irsyad to keep sharing knowledge with his worshipers.

Rinai rain outside began to fall, which is getting here more and more when the study has been completed.some of them have started to go home, only left behind Ustadz Irsyad and the Tamir mosque. Because two young people who sent him to accompany him decided to go home first because there is a lecture task that they must complete today to be collected tomorrow.

"The rain is getting faster" complained the Tamir mosque, because he also had to rush home while he did not bring an umbrella.

"Let's wait a few more minutes, sir, soon it's gonna be over."

"Ustadz Irsyad is not in a hurry?"

"Not really, because I just stay home. But because today we wear the motorbike so we have to wait."

"It's ustadz with a motor, usually a car?"

Ustadz Irsyad chuckled, "today the car is in my son's use so it can not be used. I actually prefer riding the bike. Just feel younger."

"Hahaha ustadz Irsyad this could be." The conversation was still going on, until a few moments came a boy carrying an umbrella.

"Kakek–" call him.

"Wad... My granddaughter has picked me up for a minute, Ustadz."

"Yes sir please." Ustadz Irsyad let Tamir of the mosque out for a moment to approach his grandson. I don't know what the two are talking about, because their voices are lost to the sound of heavy rain. Before long the old man walked in a hurry to approach.

"Sorry ustadz, I have to go home because my wife slipped in the bathroom."

"Innallah... How then?"

"If my grandson says it's okay just a little sprained, then let it be massage. Sorry once again ustadz, I have to leave Ustadz here alone."

"No problem sir, you better go home first. Soon I will be home too" he said, allowing the father to go home first. As you move from your sitting position.

"I'm sorry about ustadz."

"It's okay, greetings to everyone." Ustadz Irsyad walked along to the terrace of the mosque.

"Thank you ustadz. Then I'll excuse assalamualaikum."

When the Tamir was getting away from ustadz Irsyad staring into the sky, it seemed like the rain was getting heavier. His hands then looked up at the drops of water that fell from the ends of the precarious.

"It's so durable, it seems." murmured ustadz Irsyad.

On the other hand, a veiled woman snapped the white curtains, peering a little at the former lecturer who was still in the mosque alone.

He closed the curtains again. Then walking towards his room grabbed a cell phone on the table trying to contact Mr. Huda.

πŸ“ž "Assalamualaikum, Alisa. What's up?"

"Goddessalam, kang? Where's Kang Huda? This ustadz Irsyad is still in the mosque alone stifled by the rain."

πŸ“ž "Wooh, I'm out with Siti Tea. How yes? Really alone? Didn't he bring a car?"

"Today he did not bring a car. Just a motorcycle. Maybe it was because of the heavy rain so he chose to wait."

πŸ“ž "So yes... Duh how ya?" Mr. Huda seemed to think. But before long the phone call was interrupted, Isti also lowered his phone. Tried to contact Mr. Huda again, but was inactive.

"It looks like HP kang Huda is dead," Isti muttered, he put his phone down again and walked out. Ustadz Irsyad is still there. "Yes Allah... How yes, Kasian is also Mr. Irsyad. But, there's no way I'm approaching her."

Isti was still observing Irsyad ustadz from the inside, he saw that he chose to go back into the mosque. He closed the curtains for a moment and decided to walk to the kitchen, removing two jars from the closet containing coffee powder and sugar.

Do not forget the cups and the vials. Isti took the initiative to make ustadz Irsyad coffee. He breathed when the cup of coffee was ready.

"May this not be slander, I just hand over this coffee to him and then go home." I said the basmalah and walked out. Before that, he held up an umbrella hanging near the kitchen door.

Returning to the mosque, Ustadz Irsyad was a little stunned when he saw Isti who came to him in his all-black clothes.

"Assynnolt, ustadz. Sorry, I didn't mean it. Just wanted to give this up." Isti put the cup of coffee politely near the door of the mosque. "Sorry ustadz if I hand it over in a disrespectful way, because I don't dare to enter."

Ustadz Irsyad was silent in addition to muttering back greetings from Isti earlier, looking at the woman who had now turned her body back away from him.

"Isti briefly–" the call. Isti also stopped with his back. "Thank you coffee. I appreciate this."

Isti narrowed his eyes, a sign he was smiling.

"Sama-sama ustadz, I'm sorry." He reached for his umbrella again, for some reason the hand trembled while holding the handle of the umbrella, his legs also looked limp, making it a bit difficult to step. I don't know, she hasn't done that to a man for the last time she did that with her husband, making coffee for a man.

Ustadz Irsyad smiled faintly, he stepped slowly closer to a cup of coffee lying on the floor right in front of the mosque door.

He grabbed it, said basmalah and sipped a little.

"Sweet" he murmured before bringing her in the coffee, as his own friends waited for the rain to subside. Elsewhere, Isti who had returned to peek from behind the window smiled he was grateful, at least there is a treat that is able to repel the bad taste in Isti's chest, Isti said, for leaving him alone in that mosque.
