Pledge of Love Rumi
the love that still exists

Still when Maryam had just left, Yohan turned her head for a moment. Then sit down limply in his chair.

"Broth... Why is Papah talking like that? Even though we got the kid out of the family, but I can't bear Debby marrying a man of high religion. It could be that he's the same fate as Merry." Said the wife, holding her husband's arm.

"Not everyone is equally lucky." Mumbled her.

"What's? Meanin?" Tanya, Mrs Brigitta does not understand.

"Debby needs someone, who can strengthen him, after we isolate him." Mumbled Mr. Yohan. The one holding his head on the back of the chair. His eyes were closed too.

"Wait, I still don't understand?"

"You didn't hear? What did Merry say?" Ask Mr. Yohan. Miss Brigitta's forehead is wrinkled. "Debby likes that guy. Right now, all he needed was strength. I just wish she could get that, from her husband."

Madam Brigitta was stunned. "So you agree?"

"So, maybe because I don't care about the kid anymore. Now I just want to forget for a moment about this matter. So, stop talking about him. I've had enough stress to think about his decision to know, to change beliefs." He went up from there and walked in. Mrs Brigitta was silent. Staring at the back of the husband who began to disappear from his sight.

For a moment he looked at the small table in the corner of the room, right next to the sofa he was sitting on. Mrs Brigitta grabbed one of the frames perched on the table.

He cried again, when he looked at the photo of his little girl with the pose being kissed by Mrs Brigitta and Mr. Yohan, on Debby's birthday first. At the age of the child was about six years old.

"I miss him. My daughter... May your life always be blessed, and you are always happy son." He murmured still sobbing, then dyed Debby's portrait, and hugged the frame later.

Meanwhile, on the other side. Mr. Yohan was still standing beside the door leaning against the wall. He also rubbed his wet eyes. His decision was very unwise. Debby is her own daughter. But his disappointment with his little girl was huge. So that it defeats his conscience to be able to accept the big step taken by the princess. Mr. Yohan shook his head and went back to his room.

Back to the mosque in Jakarta.

Maryam rubbed her face after muttering Aamiin, ending her prayer.

Do not forget to also wipe his tears that had been scattered earlier.

He moved and walked out of the green curtain, which he had only stayed alone in the woman's room.

At the same time, a man who passed by one of the men beside him accidentally hit the woman who was walking towards the exit of the mosque.

Praaaakk... A prayer beads that Maryam was holding fell down.

"It's okay, I'm not careful. Turn around but don't look around first."

The man smiled faintly. "I'll excuse you then. Come, assalamualaikum." Said.

"Walaikumsalam warahmatullah."

"Habib–" exclaimed the man who passed him at the door, Maryam turned her head for a moment. Then bow again. "MashaAllah is pleased to meet Habib Bilal here."

"Yes, there's an event. Sorry yeah... I first. Assalamualaikum."

"Yes Bib, walaikumsalam warahmatullah." The man gave way to the two people before him. With happy smiling lips. It seemed that he caught the look of fatigue on the face of Habib Bilal, thus making him understand the condition.

Maryam was still standing there. He sighed. "Habb? It's so young. Let alone that young man who had been here too. It sounds so beautiful." Mumbled Maryam, he immediately beristighfar and walked out after making sure the man with the title habib had gone further.

At 18:45

Maryam had just arrived, she said a greeting that was immediately welcomed by Debby.

"Aunty?" Deborah grabs Mary's hand and kisses her back. "Tante, have you eaten?" Ask Debby.

He did not ask about his father's response directly, but something else. Waiting for her aunt to lose her tiredness first.

"Not yet, but Auntie brought food." Smile, who immediately greeted with a smile Debby as well.

"What's this?" Grabbing the parcel that was in Maryam's left hand, peeked at her.

"Chicken pecel only.... Same with kale."

"wah.. yummy this, Debby the intention was to deliver earlier."

"Hehe, have we eaten. ehh...? but Aunt shower first. You're the one who's ready." He said Debby nodded.

The two of them walked together, towards the back room.

Debby prepared some dishes, while her aunt went straight into her room. To wash his body for a while.
