Gavril was shocked when he got word from his secretary about the hit-and-run his ex-wife had. Not an hour later, Gavril heard that she was in the ER and in a state of alarm.
Without waiting for a long time and hearing more explanation from his secretary, Gavril immediately got down from his room, he wanted to see firsthand the condition of his ex-wife. But before that do not forget Gavril put his son to the secretary.
“Pak Gavril?” surprised some people in the ER room when they found the presence of hospital owners and their former coworkers who had not appeared there for a long time.
“How is it?” gavril asked with an anxious and sad face to one of the doctors who was treating Adistya who was lying unconscious with blood filling her face and clothes.
Gavril walked closer and closer towards Adistya's bed, ignoring those who were still shocked by her whereabouts, then Gavril grabbed the rubber gloves given to one of the sisters there as if he knew what Gavril wanted.
Quickly and carefully, Gavril cleaned the blood on his ex-wife's face, arms, legs and head not out of Gavril's attention, in the help of the previous doctor and several other sisters until then Gavril received a tool to stitch the wound received by Adistya from a hit-and-run that the woman experienced. And Gavril vowed never to let the perpetrator get away, whether or not this accident happened.
For approximately two hours Gavril was in the ER room dealing directly with Adistya's injuries, now Gavril can breathe a little relieved and choose to come out for a while, to meet his son who he had left since. Gavril believes that his son is awake or may have fallen asleep again, but Gavril wants to confirm Gavin's condition.
Once out of the ER, Gavril was faced directly with Satya, Seno and also his father. The three men immediately asked questions about Adistya's situation in there. With fatigue and sadness, Gavril finally explained in detail about Adistya's current condition and it made the three people there feel hit, especially Satya who immediately fell into the chair where he was sitting, the middle-aged man's tears even dripped without being able to be prevented.
“In the meantime, Adistya will be transferred to the treatment room. Do you mind waiting and taking Adistya to the nursery? Gavril wanted to go up first, check Gavin's condition,” Gavril turned to the papa, and the middle-aged man nodded, not at all objecting.
After that Gavril said goodbye to Satya and Seno, before then stepping foot into the elevator that will take him to his office, the room where his son was also treated. In addition to checking his son's condition, Gavril will also clean his body because the shirt he used since morning is now dirty with Adistya blood stains.
Upon arriving in the room, Gavril found the presence of his mother and also the sister-in-law of his ex-wife. Only for a moment did Gavril feel stale with the two women before checking the condition of the son and injecting the drug into a bottle of Gavin infusion, after which he stepped into the bathroom, cleaning his body.
There were too many surprises today that Gavril had, and it was all bad news. Gavril feels he failed to protect Adistya and becomes a father to Gavin.
One tear fell on the corner of Gavril's eye. Sadness, anger, and all sorts of other feelings raged into one. Only happy that Gavril did not feel at this time let alone considering Adistya's condition was far from good. The accident left his ex-wife paralyzed and it could not be made permanent or not. Adistya's condition is the biggest blow Gavril. He could not imagine how the woman would react when she regained consciousness. It is possible to be hysterical or cry in silence as the woman has always done when her wounds are scratched.

“Dad, Which mother? Why not here yesterday? Gavin wants to see Mommy,”
“What pain does it take? Did you get any pain from Gavin?” ask the boy plainly. Gavril smiled faintly, then shook his head then explained about the accident that Adistya had experienced and the little explanation Gavril could understand, making the boy grumble amidst his cries.
“So, Gavin if you cross should be careful, look left right and should be in the adult damping. Never play on the street, remember!”
“Good captain!” he said as he raised his hand towards his temple, making a respectful gesture.
“Good Boy!” proud Gavril gently damaged the son's hair. Afterwards Gavril continued to feed the boy, then gave him medicine and allowed Gavin to rest, while he would visit Adistya's ward, see his condition and maybe briefly accompany the woman there. Many words of apology that Gavril wanted to convey and a lot of support and enthusiasm that he wanted to give to his ex-wife.
Gavril came down from his room after his mother came to take turns to look after Gavin. The middle-aged woman happened to have just come and did not forget to bring her breakfast, making Gavril smile and not forget to say thank you. Although he had never been disappointed, Avril did not reduce his affection. And I feel sorry because he made that woman cry. If time could be reset, Gavril would be a submissive, non-stubborn child.
“Daddy has breakfast?” gavril asked his former father-in-law. The middle-aged man shook his head as he strode towards the sofa and let Gavril sit in his seat, next to Adistya's bed that had been faithful to sleep since last night.
“Mama bring breakfast, eat first, Dad. After that Dad came home, rest, Adistya let Gavril take care. Remember, you also have to take care of your health because Adistya needs the support of all of us.”
Satya could not argue, because whatever his daughter-in-law said was true. Satya had already heard about the condition of her son, and it certainly made her sad and hurt as well. But as much as possible the sadness he caused to encourage his son, Satya knew clearly that Adistya was not the type of person who likes to be pitied.
“Then Dad comes home first, later if there is any news. You also do not forget breakfast and rest, there is Gavin and Tya who still need you.”
Gavril stared at Satya's departure in silence, then turned back to Adistya who was lying comfortably on the bed. Noticing for a moment the beautiful face adorned with several wounds then grabbed his right hand free from the infusion hose, peeling it for a moment while muttering an apology many times.
Shortly thereafter, one of the sisters came complete with a tray containing the need to clean Adistya's wounds. Gavril takes over the nurse's duties because he wants to give his best to Adistya, Gavril wants to deal directly with his ex-wife. Now that he can only treat and heal the wounds on the woman's body, Gavril hopes that in the future he can treat and heal the former's heart until there is no more pain that Adistya can feel.
The nurse just kept watching, though, there was haru and also envy at how soft and painstaking Gavril was cleaning those wounds and clearly there was still love in Gavril's pair of black eyes that since yesterday was seen as sad. Most of the employees at the hospital knew who Adistya was because seven years ago, before the breakup happened Gavril proudly told him the figure of his wife, who he was, especially Adistya who visited several times to deliver lunch or deliberately joined to wait for her husband to finish with his work.
And not a few also know about Gavril with Rania before the man married Adistya, because before Rania disappeared, because before Rania, the woman worked at the hospital and was good friends with several doctors and other employees. And the relationship between the two is certainly not covered.
But everyone did not expect that after a long time of disappearance, Rania returned and surprised everyone with the return of their relationship, when it was clear that Gavril was no longer a single man.
