“Tell me what you want,” said Anne after they were inside the apartment unit where David lived, she did not want to waste her time anymore.

They both stood face to face.

“Stop working there stay with me,” David said in a flat tone.

Anne gulped her saliva, her feelings for David had honestly vanished without a trace. After styling her mind Anne said, “David, I've heard you say it hundreds of times in recent months, but unfortunately I'm not at all interested in your offer.”

David has been chasing Anne for several months and Anne still insists on rejecting David, the man only wants Anne to live with David in the apartment. In other words maybe David just wants himself to warm up David's bed. Of course Anne objected to it, a woman needs certainty, a woman needs a clear relationship that is a definite bond called marriage. Moreover, Anne's age is no longer young, she is now thirty years old.

While there is no question in Europe of an unmarried woman at the age of thirty, Anne wants to be like Prilly and Linlin. They have a happy family even though he knows, Prilly lives her life is not as perfect as others see, her best friend has fallen awake many times. However, it seems humane if a woman feels a little jealousy in her mind when she sees her own best friend having a child and a loving husband.

All Anne wanted was to have a family of her own, to have a husband and children live in a loving home instead of undergoing an uncertain relationship.

“David don't play around I don't want to stay with you, because you, my friendship with Adelia is broken and she until this second that avoids me, I'm really disappointed you're hiding a big secret from me.” For the first time Anne opened her voice about her disappointment with David.

“We did hide our relationship Between me and Adelia there was no feeling whatsoever, Adelia avoided you because she was worried that you felt uncomfortable towards her.” David tried to explain.

“And the fact is, I do feel uncomfortable,” Anne said in a cynical tone.

“Adelia has actually known our relationship since the foundation of our closeness,” David said suddenly.

For Anne David's speech was not at all interesting, if David pursued it first maybe the speech would be meaningful.

“If there's nothing you want to talk about I'd better leave,” in a cold tone and a disinterested expression continuing Anne's conversation trying to stop the conversation that shouldn't exist according to Anne. According to Anne, this conversation was just going around in circles and wasting her time, and certainly she would not be willing to be David's mistress.

“Listen to my explanation this time, okay?” David grabbed Anne's palm with an indecipherable gesture by Anne, of course Anne gasped. He reflexively pulls his hand but David holds it back.

“Why haven't I chased you for three years? Why did I just come after you? You know why?”

Anne actually looked at David's face with a lazy look he did not want to listen to David's explanation, no matter what reason Anne did not want to care.

“My father...” David paused for a moment to sigh. “You know for yourself my father, I cannot oppose him. Moreover, his condition when it was sickly, I was afraid something happened to him. Fortunately he did not pressure me and Adelia to get married, now he has gone I broke my engagement to Adelia Between me and Adelia there was never one of us who had a taste. Relationships are not what you think they are, Adelia respects my family she refused our arranged marriages but she is still being kind, I accepted the match because of my parents, she said, but because now my parents are both gone who should be obeyed? Anne was still with her original demeanor, her eyebrows even seemed a little crooked.

“Nothing I want, all I want now is to go back to work because it's still my time working.” Luckily David cut out Anne's sentence so that he didn't have to bother rejecting David again.

“Back to work or to meet Aaron?” David raised his eyebrows.

“You don't make sense,” Anne said in a snide tone again.

“So you guys do have a relationship?”

“Because we took shelter under the company led by the same person, of course me and Aaron have a relationship,” Anne replied in an indifferent tone.

“I've asked Alexander to fire you,” said David sounding threatening.

“Oh yes?” asked Anne in a cynical tone back. “They won't be able to fire me for no reason.”

‘I have to contact Prilly for this, Prilly must be responsible!’ anne's mind is upset.

“The reason is quite clear, because you will marry me, you become Mrs Brown then you must be beside me not in the company of others.” David gently brought Anne's palm close to his lips but Anne quickly withdrew both hands.
