Anne arrives at the company at nine. After putting his things on his desk, he knocked on Aaron's door. When the door opened, Aaron was struggling in front of his laptop, the hollows of his eyes looking a little deep.

Aaron looked up at Anne. “When I give you leeway to rest, you can come later,” he said in a calm tone.

“Meeting starts at ten o'clock, how could I let you work alone,” Anne said.

Aaron only glanced at the smile on his thin lips.

“Thank you,” said Anne suddenly who was standing in front of Aaron's desk.

“I don't know your body size, I mean. I don't know the size of your clothes. Sorry if you are uncomfortable wearing it,” said Aaron as his eyes glanced at Anne's body.

“It is very convenient and the model is according to my taste, you are very good at choosing.” Anne looked at the clothes attached to her body.” Anne sincerely said that the clothes fit perfectly in her body, she was sure that Aaron was very well trained in anything. His work was always perfect, even choosing clothes for a woman he understood very well without asking Anne first.

Aaron cleared his throat then he said, “Oh yes, this morning that Alex called me, he said that the day after Prilly asked you to accompany him in a meeting. There are some files that you need to learn and I sent them to your email.”

Anne slightly furrowed both of her eyebrows. “What meeting? Tumben once.”

“Entailah, you can ask Prilly yourself,” replied Aaron.

Anne nodded her head. “I'll ask you later.” He paused his speech, checking the watch that was coiled around his wrist. “Meeting starts in thirty minutes, I'll check the meeting room. You get ready," he continued.

This time Aaron nodded, Anne exited Aaron's study, stepping towards the meeting room to be used by them. After checking the needs of an employee, Anne went to her desk to pick up the laptop and the necessary documents after which she returned to Haru's study and told her that the room was ready. Aaron, he was very similar to Alexander. He always comes five minutes before the meeting starts.

Anne was a little agitated because in the meeting it turned out there was David. The man as one of the lawyers at the Johanson Corporation turned out to be present at the meeting, thankfully the distance they sat far enough and also their position was also blocked so as not to make Anne more awkward. Anne nodded. “I'm sorry, Sir,” he said politely. However, he had to maintain decency because in the room there were still some people besides David and Aaron.

Aaron, aaron, David and two men who held important positions at Glamour Entertainment spoke seriously for fifteen minutes then Aaron ended their conversation and let the three men disband because lunch time was almost missed.

“Oh, forgive us for not being able to have lunch with you today. My beloved..I mean my secretary had prepared our lunch in the study, it was more fun than having to get out of the building just to find lunch, ” replied Aaron in a very flat tone. There was absolutely no trace of lies in his attitude and tone of voice.

“Oh.” David's throat felt blocked, his heart felt in the squeeze. He also had lunch with Anne. The woman is very understanding. He does not need to be asked to order lunch, usually he took the initiative himself to prepare lunch in the workspace if there is no scheduled lunch out.

Because of his busyness he even forgot that he should have a companion. He has been thinking about it carefully lately to seriously look for a companion. Of the many women she considered, only Anne seemed to understand her. And when he was serious about pursuing Anne, it seems that now he has a barrier that cannot be said to be easy even though materially Aaron is not his rival because he is far above Aaron. He is a lawyer and sole heir to Brown’s Company. However, being seen with the naked eye even though Aaron was not an easy rival.

David is back. “So, you guys...seriously?”

After all I am not the type of man who attracts his partner,” said Aaron.

David smiles cynically because Aaron's words are right on his target. “But, as long as she doesn't have the status of mistress in your house don't I actually have the same opportunity?” He will not give up, enough years of his relationship and Anne is stuck. She's not young anymore, and neither is Anne.

“Do you want to compete with me?” Aaron threw a cold look at David while raising his eyebrows.

“If you can compete healthily,” replied David.

“Do not worry.”

“Alright, we compete,” said David in a tone full of challenges.

“By pleasure,” said Aaron.

“What if we bet? If you're going to win it then I'm going to give you a sports car,” said David gliding away from his aunt.

Aaron smiled cynically. “Sorry, Mr. Brown, my future wife is not a bet.”
