Jay reviews the wry smile on his lips as his cynical speech gets a cold response from his interlocutor. He cleared his throat then said. “Can we start talking about our business plan?”

“Please, Mr. Al-Fatih,” replied Alexander.

Jay's eyes were directed at Prilly. “But, I think... What if only the interested are involved? I mean..”

“I understand, I also want to talk about this matter four eyes,” replied Alexander in a satirical tone. If his wife is not allowed to participate in their conversation then Jovita is not.

“He's my secretary,” Jay.

Alexander's lips lifted. “Four eyes or nothing?” Alexander really gave a dead price.

Alexander's statement immediately made Jay not wince, he swept his glance to Jovita who stood next to him and he relaxed his arms giving code to Jovita to stay away. While Alexander reached into the pocket of his pants and then typed on the screen of his phone. Just a few seconds later, Danny came to them. Alexander always took Danny with him even though he went with Prilly, he was very protective of his wife because he remembered things in the past that could be said to be gloomy.

“Dragon Your great mistress,” Alexander's word to Danny.

“I understand, Sir,” replied Danny obediently.

Prilly removed her arms wrapped around her husband's waist, as did Alexander. “I won't be long,” he told Prilly, his eyes reluctant to let his wife out of his sight.

“Don't rush my dear,” replied Prilly who was accompanied by a sweet smile. “Come, Danny.”

Prilly is followed by Danny stepping towards a comfortable place to sit but it was unexpected that Jovita tailed the two men and unequivocally greeted Prilly.

“How are you, Prilly. Long time no see,” said.

Prilly turned her gaze to Jovita. “My news is very good, how about you?” Prilly replied to Jovita's greeting in a friendly and as natural a tone as possible.

“Your news is good, how are the children?” Jovita asks Prilly's children as sensually as possible.

“Sit, Jov.” Prilly invites Jovita to sit down. “The children's news is very good," he replied.

A little thought, actually Prilly was about to ask the news of Jovita's son but he chose to keep the question in his mind. However, the boy is a child that Jovita does not expect, he is worried that his question is disturbing Jovita. An awkwardness suddenly stretched between them. Stiff and frozen.

“A-I work again because the allowance from Alex— is not enough for our living expenses. I mean—I just told you,” said Jovita.

Hearing Jovita's statement made Prilly frown. He quietly sighed, an excuse he thought was very funny, absurd and fabricated. 1.000 £ is not a small number, every month Jovita gets a guarantee to support herself from her ex-husband. Prilly is convinced that no ex-husband is willing to give that much money to his ex-wife what else if he remembers the mistakes that Jovita has made. Not something to be said to be playful, the mistake is fatal. However, considering Alexander and Prilly also made a mistake with Jovita, putting aside Jovita's mistakes, Alexander and Prilly feel compelled to help the woman until Jovita returns to find a companion who will take responsibility and sustain the lives of Jovita and her son.

“If you can manage your expenses, I think everything is fine,” Prilly said in response to what Jovita revealed just now. He tried to voice in the best possible tone so as not to make sparks in Jovita's mind.

Jovita smiled cynically. “I really envy you, you may never experience life in distress.” he said while staring blankly at the floor he was on.

Prilly swallowed his saliva. For Chrissakes. This awkward atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable.

“You are a tough woman, someday you will definitely find the best in your life,” Prilly said.

Prilly really wanted to run from the awkward atmosphere that was shackling her at the moment.

Danny, who was sitting not far from Prilly and Jovita, was clearly able to hear the conversation and awkward atmosphere between Prilly and Jovita. He immediately took the initiative to break the awkwardness.

Danny cleared his throat. “Mistress, do you want to see the atmosphere outside?” ask him to Prilly.

While Alexander and Jay were talking seriously. The two people sat in chairs facing each other, only a small table separated them.

“This project in Dubai will be very profitable for the hospitality network you have, Mr. Johanson,” said Jay in a reassuring tone opening a discussion between them.

“If I put my shares there, what are my advantages?” alexander asked as he crossed his legs in graceful movements.

Jay rolled up his sleeves then he yawned his phone screen. His fingers danced over the screen and opened a company document. Seriously Jay began to explain what advantages he offered to Alexander, at length and convincingly of course.

Alexander listened intently and seemed interested without interrupting any of the sentences Jay spoke until the man ended his explanation. He cleared his throat then he asked, “Alright, I have understood. However, may I ask you a question before we discuss this project further later?”

“Of course,” says Jay.

Alexander looked directly into Jay's eyes with a flat gaze. “Why do you suddenly want to cooperate with me? Though we are quite heavy rivals during this.”

Jay laughed blandly. “You think too much Mr. Johanson,” answered.

Alexander smiled cynically. As usual. “So you think it's time we join hands? Like-is?” next to his eyebrows raised.

Jay laughed at something that wasn't funny at all. “Yes, like that. Looks like.”

Still with a cynical smile on his lips, Alexander nodded his head then said, “I hope you know the limits and do not mix things that should not.”

Jay stopped his bland laughter. “Looks like you suspected me,” he said.

“Oh, certainly not. I believe you have quite an intelligent brain,” replied Alexander.
