the Ryans Hotel,

The holiday season begins to end making the hotel look quieter than usual. Luckas has been in London for a week, taking care of the Ryans hotel there. Indeed, this is the life of Luckas, always going back and forth from one branch to another. And for a week now Luckas has not told Lidya, sometimes he only sends a short message.

"I miss you.." Lidya read the last message she received from Luckas two days ago. Lidya tries to understand Luckas' position, which is always preoccupied with his work, and Lidya cannot demand more attention from Luckas. But sometimes at the thought of Luckas rarely contacting her, Lidya begins to feel anxious. The bitter memories of Rico made him fear it would happen again to him.

"Yahoo!!!!" Gina ran towards him with a loud breath.

"what's up, Gina? is Miss Rainy looking for me?" ask Lidya.

Pretina who walks casually towards Lidya helps Gina answer a question from Lidya "of course not.she just can't wait to tell you about the gossip she just heard"

"rumor?" ask Lidya wonder.

Pretina folded her hands right under her chest "right, and it hit our Boss"

"The boss?? you mean Luckas Ryans?"

"of course Luckas Ryans, Lidya..since when do we have other bosses?" gina Sahut.

"What rumors?"

"there's a rumor that our boss has a girlfriend." replied Gina.

As Lidya's body stiffened, her cold sweat began to flow. His relationship with Luckas had always been a secret for both of them, Lidya asked Luckas to keep it a secret because of their status.

"pa...boyfriend??"

Gina offered her phone which already had a news article about Luckas. Lidya read it while trying to resist the trembling in her hands.

'THE GREEN FAMILY HAS ANNOUNCED THEIR ONLY DAUGHTER'S ENGAGEMENT TO THE RYANS' FAMILY'S ONLY SON'

Just reading the headline of the article instantly made both hands of Lidya lose her strength. Gina's phone almost free-fall from Lidya's hands.

"Handphonekuuu.." yelled at Gina who reflexively caught the phone.

Freya Green is the only daughter of the Green family and the owner of Hotel Green. Although Green Hotel is not as much and as successful as Hotel Ryans which has had several branches everywhere, but the Green Family is a very distinguished family in London. Freya Green herself is a famous model, even though her body does not have a height like the general model but her face and social status is more than enough to make her famous.

"Himla?!" Pretina shook Lidya's frozen body "you... alright?"

Pretina was worried to see Lidya who looked pale "You want to go home? your face looks pale"

Lidya shook her head "I don't want to deal with Rainy.I've had too many permits"

"go home, after all, our own working hours are almost done.." said Pretina "If the killer is looking for you, we will say if you are helping guests find his lost earrings". Gina nodded in agreement to Pretina's words.

"thank you.maybe it's the rest I need now" said Lidya "and I won't forget your kindness" Lidya smiled, she was so grateful to have friends like Pretina and Gina.

"you simply treat us to a good meal, Lidya.." said Gina while showing a row of white teeth.

Lidya laughed "you can choose the restaurant you like.and I'll treat you"

"i'll choose an expensive restaurant." said Gina who joked.

Lidya tried to put a smile on her face "just calm down. treat on me!"

Lidya tries to contact Luckas but Luckas's number is off. Lidya began typing and sending messages to Luckas, even though she knew Luckas would not reply or read them.

"Luckas.What's up with the news? you where? Call me if you get this message"

Lidya laid herself on her soft bed. His head grew heavier and began to throb, Lidya stared at his phone hoping Luckas would read and reply to his message. But the result is nil, waiting for Luckas' long reply makes Lidya sleepy in waiting.

'Forgive me for being this coward, Lidya.

This engagement cannot be undone, I cannot refuse orders from my family. I really love you, I'm sorry. I'm getting married to Freya next month. Live your life hard, without me. I will pray for your happiness, Lidya. I love you'

Lidya drowned, her fear coming true. Her tears flowed endlessly, her longing, hatred, disappointment, anger mixed into one. Lidya wanted to scream out loud, but her strength seemed to disappear from her body.
