Her afternoon.. Dr. Rudy returned to the room to check on Vanya's condition, a smile of relief emanating from Dr. Rudy's face.

"Congratulations, mister. Miss Vanya has passed her critical period.she will be fine.." said Dr. Rudy.

As soon as Louis was relieved, his originally grim face was finally able to smile back. He looked at Vanya who still had not opened her eyes.Slowly she gently stroked Vanya's forehead.

"Thank you. Thank you, doctor.." said Louis gratefully.

Doctor Rudy simply smiled and nodded, "all too because Miss Vanya is so strong.. All right. I have to go check on the other patients" said Dr. Rudy, "oh yeah. about the knife that stuck in Miss Vanya's body.."

Louis's face turned serious.

"I have secured it and have handed it over to the authorities, as told by the authorities before.." continued Rudy's doctor back, "I really hope you can catch the culprit directly" doctor Rudy then walked out leaving Louis and Vanya.

Louis looked back at Vanya, "i promise to catch anyone who has hurt you like this!!" hatch Louis.

Louis turned to the source of the voice, his face smiling again.

"Lidya.." he said.

Lidya approached Louis and hugged his sister, his only sister who was always a child in his eyes. Getting a hug from her brother seemed to be a special encouragement for Louis, she did need someone who could support her.

"She'll be fine." whispered Lidya while patting her sister's back without her noticing if her little sister's body used to be, now it has been so big.. At that moment, Lidya realized, Louis had grown up.

"Thank you, Lidya.." said Louis, then let go of his brother's embrace "didn't you guys be tired of your flight?. Why did Chandra bring you here?!"

"Don't blame him,bro.." said Luckas as he approached Louis, "We forced him to drive us here.especially Lidya, he wanted to see Vanya immediately"

"Certainly,Louis.. I haven't been able to rest for a second since you called me" Lidya continued.

Louis lowered his head, "forgive me"

"Why are you apologizing to us?" lidya asked confusedly, "sister.I am your sister!!. And of course I should be there for you, anytime!!!" tukas Lidya firmly but gently.

Louis felt overwhelmed by his brother's words, he was very unexpected.just the presence of his brother and sister-in-law alone, was enough to help him.

The moving encounter came to a halt due to the knocking of the door. Two police officers walked into the room. Both Louis and Luckas, the look on their faces immediately turned serious.

"Good afternoon, mister!" one of the officers said "i am from the police." he continued, sticking his right hand out.

Louis returned their hand, "Louis" he said.

"I am officer Satya and this is my colleague, Praba" the officer said.

Louis nodded, "how's the result of the investigation, sir?"

The faces of the two officers looked bright, it turned out that they had gotten a bright spot that had helped them find the suspect who hurt Vanya, "we have received the knife the suspect used to injure Miss Vanya.." sahut Satya "and.we went straight to the examination and we found the fingerprints of the perpetrator..".

Lidya breathed a sigh of relief, "do you know who did it?"

Satya looked at her colleague, "we've checked it. However, it seems. The culprit is not a citizen here.or rather, not from Indonesia.." said Praba.

"A.why?!" a glimmer of hope that initially began to approach Louis, but.

Lidya approached Louis and patted him on the shoulder. Luckas approached the two officers, "is it possible if we assist with the investigation?".

Satya and Praba stared at each other, then looked back at Luckas at the same time.

Luckas smiled, the aura full of his wibawakannya back up and made the two officers feel a little depressed about it, "we. have to find and catch the culprit!! Anything!! Anyhow!!" luckas said firmly, "my lawyer, Rickard, will see you soon, and if you don't mind, he will help check the fingerprints with the New York police!"

"Ne..New York?!" sahut Satya did not believe.

"Yes, I don't know if the culprit is from there.. But, there's no harm if we try, right?!" continue Luckas.

Luckas' plan that brought Richard, his lawyer, turned out to be useful. Richard is a well-known lawyer in New York and he also has connections with a variety of people who come from legal circles.
