"Si-, who are you!" ask Mia stammering. His body took a defensive position and was ready to run again.

"Mrs Walter, what are you doing?" ask the man again without answering Mia's question.

Mia looked back and then she pulled the hand of the stranger to run with him until they were some distance away from Finn's residence.

"My name is Mia, just call me Mia. Look, I don't know who you are, but I need your help" Mia said, taking off the shoes she was wearing. "It's an expensive shoe, where can I exchange it?"

The man took the high-heeled shoes from Mia's hand and rushed off. Not long after, he came back with sneakers. "wear. What are you doing, Mistress-, ah I mean, Mia?"

"I want to get out of that house. I didn't know who owned the house and all of a sudden I had to marry him and-, and, ...." Mia took out all her emotions that she had been holding onto for these few days. She cried in front of a stranger. Mia herself did not know but according to her, the man was trustworthy and reliable.

The man in front of her only listened to Mia's crying voice without twitching. Sometimes the man patted her on the back.

After Mia was satisfied crying, the man gave her a bottle of water. "Drink and calm yourself,"

Mia opened the bottle and drank the water in the bottle. "Thank you,"

"I don't understand what your problem is, can you tell me from the beginning what happened? Because you suddenly pulled me and cried. How can I help you if you don't tell me what's going on with you?" ask the man again.

The man nodded. "My name's not 'you'. Call me Josh,"

"Okay, okay. You know Finn, hello are you going to report me to Finn?" ask Mia again. The beautiful girl did not make sure that the man in front of her was on her side.

"Depends on what you're gonna do, right? But I just heard that you didn't know Finn but you married him. Are you under threat?" ask Josh. The man saw that Mia still looked worried to be near him.

Mia was wondering what answer to give Josh. To be honest, he is currently under threat from James Arthur and his parents. If they knew Mia was running away, they would definitely punish Mia and would repay her parents' debts.

"Well, I decided to trust you but please don't report me to Finn or James" Mia said.

Josh points his fingers together to form the letter v and promises Mia not to report it to Finn or James.

"Okay, it all started with my parents who were in debt to James Arthur. I don't know where they knew James from but one day, James and his friends came to our house and took everything we had. My parents were crying and clinging to James' legs, but James still didn't care about them. Until when I came, James was suddenly drawn to me" Mia said.

"Of course he's interested in you, you're beautiful and I like you, too" Josh said loudly and without further ado.

Hearing the praises from Josh's mouth, Mia's face gushed red. "I'm not that pretty but thank you" she blushed.

Jos' forehead shriveled when he heard him mention the slave market. "What is a slave market?"

"The slave market is a market where powerful men and women with a lot of money can bring teenage girls of my age to be sold there. As the name implies, we who are sold will be made as slaves or concubines" replied Mia. "James my seller at a high price even my highest price among others in that market. Of course no one can buy me. They said the price James offered me made no sense. In the end, James offered me to Finn. Somehow the man agreed and I was immediately taken to this place" Mia continued.

" That's all they did to pay your parents' debts?" ask Josh.

Mia nodded slowly. "Yes, they included both my parents threatening me that if I did not obey Finn, then my parents' debts were returned along with the interest. Right now the debt status of my parents has been wiped out even by not knowing the shame they sold my virginity to Finn at a high enough price," Mia's tears returned to her lap.

Josh looked at the beautiful girl and somehow there was something rustling in his heart. He wanted to protect the girl.

"If you believe me I will help you escape and I will pay all the debts of your parents so that you no longer have to live in fear," those words just slid from Josh's mouth without him thinking about it before.

Saying those words is like challenging Finn Walter. Rich men rule all over the city.

"really? You want to help me?" mia asked unsure. "Can you fight Finn? Because he seems to be someone who is quite influential and has great power over this city,"

"You're very smart and I didn't think until then. But I will keep trying to help you. Now, all we have to do is throw away the wedding dress and buy a dress and pants so you can move more easily. Come on, come with me!" said Josh. He extended his hand to Mia.

But they have not yet walked. They were surrounded by James and his friends. "Where are you going?"

Mia squinted her eyes. "You don't have to interfere with what I'm doing! Set me free and I'll try to pay my parents' debts,"

James tilted his head and then he whistled long. "Hohoho, this pretty Colton girl has dared to fight me. How do you repay your parents' debts? Work it? Until you get old, your parents' debt will never be paid off" the curly-haired man sneered.

Suddenly from behind, a person with a large enough body took his hand and tied it. He looks at Josh and it turns out that there is a man also behind Josh who ties his hands.

James and his friends bring Mia and Jos back to Finn's house. "Master, I found them about to escape,"

Finn glanced sharply at Josh. "Take him to my office, I'll take care of him later!"

One of James' men nodded and dragged Josh roughly to where Finn had been pointing.

Finn looked at Mia. His fingers rubbed Mia's forehead and smooth cheeks. "It's hard to conquer you too, Little Girl" said the man. Mia turned her face away and avoided the touch of the wealthy merchant.

"Arthur, as always!" tell Finn. For a split second, Mia's consciousness disappeared and again everything went pitch black.
