"Where are you going?" ask Grant one morning. The man had just returned from nowhere and by the time he got home, he had already seen Mia packing her clothes into a large suitcase.
"I think our relationship is over. There's nothing left of this relationship, is there?" answer Mia. His voice sounded tired and desperate.
Grant's down. He did not want to hurt the girl who was now in front of him, the girl who healed his wounds and trauma. Nah! "I'm sorry, Mia. I didn't mean to hurt you, but I can't explain to you yet what happened to me. It's too sudden and difficult for me. Please understand me, Mia,"
Mia folded her last clothes and stuffed them into a suitcase, and then she sealed the suitcase. He walked up to Grant and sat down beside him. "I've been trying to understand you, honey. I'm just tired. I love your shadow."
"On the night that you said whether I wanted to be your life partner or not, my expectations soared right then and there" Mia said.
The fact that Grant doesn't love her hurts more than they love each other but conditions require them to separate, as is the case with Finn and Mia.
In this case, Mia had just laid her heart on Grant. However, Grant let Mia's heart lie just like that. Even Mia doesn't know what caused Grant to turn out like this? Is it because of that woman? Jenna Blanc's? Why didn't Grant say directly that he loved Jenna, instead of keeping Mia by her side?
"You're killing me slowly, Grant," said Mia.
Grant was still down and silent. The man did not dare to speak or simply refute Mia's statement. She was too afraid to hurt Mia's feelings, even though she had unknowingly hurt the girl.
"Then, where are you going?" ask Grant.
"Where are my footsteps taking me, Grant. I don't want to linger here and bother you. I know what your decision is." replied Mia. He got up, picked up his suitcase, and rushed out of the room that was once a place of memory of him with the man he once loved.
Outside, Willia was already waiting for him. "Miss, Mrs Clark has allowed us to stay there for a while. Are you sure of this decision?"
Mia nodded steadily. "I'm sure, Willia. After this, we'll have to work hard so we can raise money to rent a small house or maybe, we can go back,"
"Good, Miss. I think it's going to be hard to come back" Willia said, helping Mia to carry her suitcase.
"Stop calling me Miss and stop serving me. I can't pay you anymore. We're just friends because we have to work together to raise money" Mia said.
Willia blushed in embarrassment. How could he be so ordinary in the presence of someone he was used to serving like Mia? "You don't have to pay me, miss. I'll stay by your side,"
"Ah, if only all the men in my life were like you, Willia. I will not be hurt and move around like this" said Mia.
They walked to Mrs Clark's flower shop. The old woman was already waiting for them in front of her classic whitewashed shop. With her distinctive smile, she welcomed the arrival of Willia and Mia. "Tiffany, my son." said Mrs Clark as she spread her arms wide to hug Mia.
"Mrs, thank you for accommodating us. But before that, I have to be honest with you about one thing" Mia said.
Madam Clark frowned. "Go in first, honey. We can talk inside,"
Meanwhile, Finn is still on his hunt for James and Rufus. After he contacts Dave and it turns out they both managed to catch and hold Dave.
Right now, Finn is heading to the place where Dave is being held captive. "We should hurry to the South and split up! Don't huddle! Find out where James and Rufus are hiding!"
The bodyguards started to split and spread out in all directions with the same goal, South City. This time, Finn was accompanied by only one bodyguard who joined in one car.
Upon their arrival in the South, Finn again contacts James via Dave's cell phone. "Where are you guys?"
"You've arrived? So fast! You got wings, huh! Ahaha!" jeered James. Then he cleared his throat and his voice sounded serious again. "Ehem! Are you alone or are your bodyguards following you?"
Finn deliberately provoked the anger of James so that he wanted to bring up his nose so that he did not have to bother looking for it.
"Haha! Then, your friend will die!" james threatened to.
"Kill him! Shoot him in the head now, I don't think I need him anymore! Ahaha! Oh, I want to give you guys a present, so, come out and get me" Finn said. "Do you want to know how your beautiful boss is doing?"
From across it sounded James screeching. "Our Parker boss is fine! Don't scare us, Walter! Find us," there was also the sound of the pull of the gun trigger. "You hear? My weapon's in action,"
"Did your boss pay the rest of the money? Hahaha, definitely not yet and he won't be able to pay the rest of your money. I dare to guarantee that" Finn said again. As he was stalling, the bodyguard who was with him whispered something to him.
"really? Are they surrounded? We're going there" Finn said in a whisper to his bodyguard.
"Arthur, are you counting? Ahaha! Come on, we were good friends, Arthur. And then you changed" Finn said again. "Anyway, I'll be right to your place. Wait for my arrival, we'll party,"
"What do you mean, Walter? Why did you know Parker stopped our payment?" ask James. After she remembered and counted, there had been no word from Beth Parker for several weeks.
Finn laughed contentedly and triumphantly. "Just relax, I'm coming with your boss. Just wait, Arthur and prepare a meal for me,"
Finn ended his call and immediately drove his vehicle at high speed through the markets and people shouting furiously.
Shortly thereafter, he arrived at a magnificent house and vineyards and strawberries filled the grounds of the house. "Rufus, that bald man has high taste, huh!" Finn came in after picking one strawberry fruit that was reddish in ripe mark.
He banged on the door tightly. "Rufus! Arthur! I'm coming with your boss! Open door!"
A man dressed in a moustache immediately opened the door for Finn. With a sharp step, Fin entered the house while carrying a cooler box.
"You came by yourself? Where is Parker? You're a liar, Walter!" james said he dumped his saliva in front of Finn.
Finn pulled out a table and placed the cooler on the table. "I never lie, Arthur. My life has always been full of peace. It's just that lately you've been teasing my peace and tickling my wild side. Well, look! This is Beth Parker you're looking forward to! Ahaha!"
As soon as Finn opened the cooler, Beth's head with the rest of the foam still stuck in her mouth looked stiff with blocks of ice around it. "Oh, this is a gift for you, I know you miss him,"
Finn throws some of Beth's hair he had cut at James. "You've sided with the wrong man, Arthur. If you hadn't betrayed me, you wouldn't have died this bad,"
"Take my men off!" finn said, his eyes staring hungry at those people especially towards James.
Without waiting for the repetition of the command, Dave was released. Finn pulled out an oval shaped object with an open axis. "If anyone pulls the trigger, this village will be destroyed!" threaten her with a serious face.
No one dared to dwell, and when Finn got outside, he whispered to his bodyguard. "Remove them, leave Rufus and Arthur's heads to me!"
Within seconds, the sound of rifles rumbling through the entire village. Finn smiled obliquely, celebrating his victory inwardly. And not until sixty minutes, three heads were already piled up in the cooler box he had brought.
"Okay, ready to ship!" said Finn and then he closed the cooler.
