Feeling deceived

Finn locked Mia back in the room. This time Mia did not rebel, she entered resignedly into the room.

Finn looked at Mia's face and she held back her smile. He would not let the arrogant Colton Girl see him smile. "Lunch is coming soon. Shut up and don't be noisy!"

"Oh!" Mia threw her face away in annoyance and looked out the window. Only this time did he feel his heart ache from being betrayed. "Josh Traitor! It's worth it that he offered me something!" it was after Finn left.

Meanwhile, Finn asks the waiter to ask his beautiful captive what food he likes and asks the waiter to tell the cook, Mia's favorite food. "Wouldn't you ask, sir?"

"No. I don't have time to take care of such a trivial thing. I have an important meeting, don't disturb unless it's important!" Finn's orders.

"Okay, sir," said the servant respectfully.

After taking care of Mia, Finn approached Josh who was waiting in his study. Without further ado, Finn immediately approached Josh and whispered to the man within a short distance, "I warn you not to interfere in my relationship with that Colton Girl!"

"He's not yours, Finn. How much you bought it!" josh replied in a whisper as well.

Finn lit a cigar and sucked it. "Omong empty, Josh! In this world, the item you have purchased means that it will directly belong to you! You understand the buying and selling system like this, right? Are you suddenly stupid just because of a Colton girl?"

"I think this time you're really in love with a girl, Finn. I can't believe you gave your heart to a village girl. Give her to me and call your fiance to marry you!" josh was riled up. Only Josh knows about Finn and his fiancee.

"How dare you say that name, I won't hesitate to kill you! That Colton girl is mine and stay away from her, Josh!" threatening Finn with a flick of his hand, he asks Josh to walk out of his study.

"Free Mia, that's all I ask!" josh whispered sharply, after which he came out of Finn's room.

The next day, a waiter accompanied Mia to sunbathe in the morning. "Let's Miss, I'm taking you,"

Mia followed the waiter. Until he meets Josh who seems to be joking with James Arthur. Mia looked at Josh from the corner of her eye. His gaze was full of hatred towards the man.

"May I ask?" mia asked, unable to hold back her curiosity.

The waiter nodded. "Please, Miss."

"Who's that guy talking to James Arthur?" ask Mia. He wondered why James had not yet left Finn's house. What kind of place is Finn Walter's house?

"Oh, that's Josh Winston, Miss. Mr. Winston is Mr. Walter's right-hand man. It is said that they were friends from childhood" replied the servant.

Mia looked back at Josh. Once again, he felt his heart throb painfully. "Little friend? Means Josh's been on Finn's side?"

"What do you mean, Miss?" the waiter asked not to understand.

Mia smiled and shook her head. "Ah, no. Its alright. Can we walk there?"

Again the waiter nodded. "Please, Miss,"

Mia and the waiter looked closer for sunlight. Since she was allowed to leave the room every morning, Mia always made the most of her time. He chases birds or butterflies that alight in flowers, lying on grass, jumping on garden patches, even sometimes he climbs trees just to see the scenery outside the house.

"How is he today?" finn asks the waiter who accompanied Mia. "My head was dizzy to see him jump around here and there."

The waiter giggled. "Miss Mia is like that, sir. There's a lot of energy. It's a pity that he's only locked up in his room all day."

"Is that?" finn's heart was slightly touched upon hearing that from Mia's servant. "I'm afraid he's running away or approaching Josh,"

"Go, let me accompany her and prepare warm water and a dress for her!" Finn's orders. Then he walked over to Mia who was whistling while playing the flowers.

Mia was unaware of Finn's presence, she kept whistling and muttering as if singing something. Her pretty hands tracing the grass. "Oh, you beautiful butterfly," he slowly allowed the butterfly to perch on his finger. "You're so pretty. I envy you, you're free to fly around here and there, and I'm locked up here."

"Ehem!"

The heavy sound of silence from Finn shocked Mia and the butterfly that had been perched on her finger.

"Oh, you! I thought you were a vampire who wouldn't go out and play in the sun" Mia said scathingly.

Finn looked at him sharply. "I'm sorry!"

"Where's my friend?" ask Mia.

That question made Finn frown. "Your friend? Do you have any friends here?"

"of course! He was right behind me. Did you sell it? Or skin it and cut it? There's always something a Great Lord does like you, right? For example, buy me," protested Mia, her two manics returning Finn's gaze.

"I obviously didn't sell it. He won't make much money for me. It might be different if I sold you. You're going to sell hard on the market, especially with your new status, Widow Walter." scorned Finn coldly.

Mia squinted her eyes and kicked Finn's shins tightly. "Damn it!"

"ouch! You!" Finn grimaced in pain while holding his leg, while Mia had run away from him earlier. "Capture her! Get that Colton girl!"

Josh and James who were talking heard Finn's screams and immediately split up. A flash of Mia's dress is seen by Josh's sharp eyes and the man immediately follows Mia. "Mia! Mia!"

Instead of stopping, Mia sped up. Especially when he saw the gate of Finn's house was already in front of his eyes.

Josh continues to chase Mia. "Suckers! Close gate! Get that girl!"

Several guards were already preparing to head off Mia, the gate was quickly closed. Josh managed to catch Mia and carry her around like he was carrying a sack of rice.

"Take me off! I'm going down! Off! Argha! Help, help! Help me!" mia chuckles at him until Josh locks her back in the room and puts her handcuffs on him. "Traitor! You tricked me, Josh! You're worse than Finn Walter! I hate you!"

Josh seemed breathless, trying to catch his breath before answering the barrage of accusations from Mia. "I'm not a traitor! I'm fighting for you, Mia!"

"Oh yeah? By catching and tying my hands like this! What are you fighting for, Josh!" sue Mia.

"You! There's no other way than to obey Finn's orders! Be patient, when I promise, I will always keep my promise! Got it? I just need your trust, Mia!" hatch Josh.

Mia looked at the man with still bawling breath. Can he trust the man after he hears that Finn and Josh were childhood friends? What was the reason Josh wanted to help her?

"Alright, I believe in you," said Mia at last.

Josh shook his waist and smiled with relief. "Thank you, Mia. Please be patient,"

"I beg you too, hurry up" Mia replied turning her face away. Hopefully this time, he makes the right decision.
