Re: Turning

Re: Turning
Outer World

Shinnichi stared at the wide lake before him. The place where he had just almost drowned. But, he didn't think of that. It's already out.

Shinnichi breathed fresh air. Air in the outside world. Free air.

“Finally.” Shinnichi sighed. A small smile, accepting that he was already out of the dungeon.

The sound of running water, birds chirping, leaves rustling, water running, wind blowing her hair. The beautiful scenery was not much different from the oasis within the dungeon. But there is something different. Shinnichi could feel that.

The surface never feels so warm. Shinnichi is grateful he is alive. He closed his eyes. The faces of Fiona, Yonaka and Izumi.

They are the main drivers. The only reason he did not give up and surrender to death. He's out, it's time to go back. Shinnichi opened his eyes. A burning determination could be seen in both of those sharp eyes.

Shinnichi drained Mana into his right hand. Little by little, darkness began to emerge from his shoulders. Forming his right hand. Abyssal Mist is back to normal.

“Schwarz, are you awake?” Shinnichi called out the name of the dragon emperor.

There's no answer.

Shinnichi sighed. “Truly relax ya.”

Shinnichi walked through the lake. Look for someone or something that is a marker of where he is.

Shinnichi walked for a while. Through the thick forest. An easy matter for someone who managed to conquer the top floor of the Great Dungeon. Despite that, Shinnichi still hasn't found anyone. Looks like the portal Gram created is in out of nowhere.

Shinnichi did not even hear the animal's voice. Sometimes he heard the sound of animals, but they always disappeared from him. And now, he's getting hungry. He had come out of the Dungeon, no more bitter meat or fruit. Even Shinnichi was determined to never eat bitter things again in his life.

Then, Shinnichi saw something in the corner of his eye. An ordinary tree, but with one difference. Famous red fruit; Apple.

Shinnichi's eyes twinkled. With a speed that matched lightning, Shinnichi ran towards the tree. Snatching one of the fruits from the tree.

Shinnichi looked at the apple in his hand. I think he wants to cry. I don't know how long he hasn't seen this simple fruit. In his hands, the fruit looked like a jewel.

He was biting the fruit. Satisfactory voice sounded. Sweetness filled his mouth. Sweetness is accompanied by nostalgia. His tongue has been too long accompanied by a bitter taste, now it's another turn.

Shinnichi swallowed the apple. Tears really collect in the corner of his eyes. inhale breath, “ENAAAAK!” Shinnichi cried out to the world.

“Oi, Geusepp. You've been feeding slaves yet?” A burly man bit a piece of antelope thigh. Speak with a loud voice.

The fat man she asked, Geusepp, glared at her. Across the campfire, anyone can see that it looks like ****. “Why me? It's your turn!” he said, drinking a full glass of beer.

“Hah!? Where might ah!” The big man moved his neck. Make a cracking sound.

Geusepp sighed. “Do just that. Tomorrow I'm gentian. You want money too, don't you, Bertham?”

“Tch, alright!” Bertham spit to the side. He finished his meal, leaving bones that still left meat in some places and a pair of vegetable strands. He picked up the plate and walked towards the horse carriage.

He opened the back door. A dark room that stinks. A dozen medium-sized cages were placed there. Almost all the cages contained a person.

Almost all the slaves in the stables were dead and had even rotted away. However, the two men did not care about the condition of those lowly slaves. Sickly and old slaves, they were even cheaper than a coin. Bertham did not understand why they were carrying such worthless slaves while they were making more money robbing people on the streets.

“Nih, food today.” Bertham threw the rest of his food into the corner of the room. “Don't be greedy, parasitic base.”

Bertham saw a pair of skinny, chained hands grabbing a piece of bone outside his cage. Bertham was disgusted to see it. In a loud voice, he closed the door of the horse carriage. He scratched his non-itchy head in annoyance.

“Ugh, really sucks. Geusepp, I'm done.”

“Good. I'm going to bed. You watch the night.” Geusepp walked away from the campfire. Towards the tent set up near there.

“Basic **** damn.” Bertham could only grumble. If he fought this one noble child, he would definitely not get paid. Upset, Bertham sat in front of the campfire. Get ready to sharpen his axe.

“Bertham!” Before he could do anything, Geusepp's screams reached his ears. Bertham immediately ran towards the source of the sound.

“What's up!?” Bertham asked.

Before him, Geuseppi was sweating and trembling violently. Geusepp pointed in the direction in front of him. Bertham turned his head and immediately took a few steps back.

In the distance, in the woods. They both saw a speck of light. A black-robed figure stood there. Shut up, don't move. Stare at them. Observing them.

“S-who are you!?” Bertham first made his voice.

The figure shakes his head. Then step forward. Sound came out of him. “A-Hmm? Schwarz?“

“Bertham!” Geusepp finally regained consciousness. Schwarz is another word for death. This figure intends to kill them. “Bertham! Attack him!”

“What ma-“

“KILL HIM! YOU WANT TO DIE?!”

Bertham clicked his tongue. He pulled his battle axe then lunged towards the cloaked figure. Swinging it with both hands, he exerted all his strength on the initial attack.

The figure raised his right hand. A sword appeared suddenly, repelling Bertham's axe easily. Sparks of fire flew from him. Illuminate the figure's face at a glance.

“-!?” Bertham felt a chill running down his back. The person before him was not human. Sharp fangs, eyes lit up; the figure before him was a Monster.

Bertham had to kill him. He kicked the monster. Pushed him back a few steps.

“Wait! Stop!” The monster spoke. His voice sounded like a young man. However, he knew this was just the monster's ploy to trick him.

“Silence and death! Hina creature!” Bertham attacked again. Twisted his body like a top to cut off his neck.

Before it can hit its target. Bertham's gaze was shaken slightly before he began to fall. A moment later, his gaze was underground and growing increasingly blurry. After a few seconds, he regained consciousness. His head was separated from his body. Bertham died without being able to say anything.

“Hii!” Behind Geusepp crawled backwards. Trying to grab a crate next to the horse carriage. Panicking, he opened it. Take one of the paper rolls there.

“Ke-met!” Geusepp smiles. He turned his body. Geusepp fell back on his ass.

The figure is now standing behind him. Blood flowed from his strange sword. His face is not human.

“Kubi-“

“[Thunderbolt]!” Not letting that figure finish his words. He immediately launched a lightning strike towards the figure.

But he just stood there. Unaffected will the yellow lightning that attacked his body. The figure approached. Step by step.

Geusepp backwards. Trying to widen the distance between himself and the monster.

“Dead! Die up! DIE!”

The cloaked figure pointed his right hand at Geusepp. It took a while before he realized that its shape was different from that of the original sword. Now it looks like a tube, empty, and the interior is luminous. Resemblant

BOOM! Before finishing his thinking, Geusepp's head exploded over. Like a cannon shot at close range. His body fell to the ground, lifeless.

The cloaked figure did not even glance towards the bodies of the two people. Instead, he turned towards the horse carriage. His purple eyes shone, he stepped towards the horse carriage.

Darkened. Chilly. Narrowest.

I don't know how long I've been here. I don't know how many nights I've spent without sleep. Restrained and restrained. I can't do anything.

The smell of death is always smelled every day. Fulfill nose. Breathe in.

The chains on my hands and feet are rusty. Every time the horse carriage swayed, my skin was torn from it. Pain, perching.

Food and water I rarely get. My throat was dry to the point that I could not speak, My stomach was empty to the point that I was in pain. Leftover food like the one I got was rarely filling the stomach.

It's torture.

They kidnapped me. Promising security and a way out. But, as soon as I saw me helpless, they messed with me. Whipping me like a cattle.

I hate this. I hate this….

Mothers…. Dad.. Anyone help me….

I want to live. I want to go back home….

Can't shed tears. I can only beg the gods. Or whoever it is.

“….”

I heard the door open. Someone stood in front. A speck of sharp purple light stared at my soul. He came in, walked over to me.

Please don't hurt me….

“I-mom.. Dad... A-I want to go home...”.

I closed my eyes. I wish I could open it again.

“Fuck people. Deaf huh? Attacking as good as jidat.” Shinnichi grumbled as he walked towards the carriage. Trying to find something.

“Shinnichi, where are we?” Schwarz asked. From his voice, he sounded like someone had just woken up.

“Oh, I forgot that you're awake.” Shinnichi forgot because the two men had attacked him first. The lightning strike he just received felt warm. “We are outside.”

“Out? What do you mean?”

“Outside Dungeon.”

“APA!?”

“Oi. Stop screaming in people's heads.” Shinnichi sighed.

“Oi, oi, oi. You're kidding, aren't you? Where could we have gone out?!” Schwarz sounded skeptical.

“Gram the Complain-“

“KAKKU!?”

“I told you, don't scream in people's heads. Geez” Shinnichi covers his ears. Although the sound of out came from inside his head. “I met your brother, we're out of the dungeon. Don't be tacky.”

“Fucking boy! What-!“

“Oh, your sister also said that she will use your body as research material.” Shinnichi interrupts him and gives Gram a message.

“…. Sister damn...” Schwarz sounded so tired. This was not the first time her brother had said such a thing. “So much.”

Shinnichi felt a bit of sympathy for Schwarz. But, it cannot be denied. The material from his body had a pretty good effect. Shinnichi shut his mouth, he already felt sorry for Schwarz.

Stopping behind the carriage, Shinnichi opened the door.

Shinnichi looked at the scene before him. A dozen more cages containing carcasses. If he took off his mask, he would definitely smell a stinging stench.

“What the fuck is this..” Shinnichi feels nauseous.

“Train slave is?” Schwarz.

“Slave...”.

Shinnichi remembers his time in the kingdom. He often went out of the castle to buy food for himself and the princess. There, he often saw slaves chained and pulled like dogs. Many times those slaves were Beastkin, a humanoid race that had animal characteristics. Shinnichi used to want to help them but, freeing a slave is like stealing someone's property.

Shinnichi used [Soul Eye]. Trying to find someone alive. The room was dark, yet there was a faint light in the corner of the room. Someone's still alive, at least barely.

In a corner of the room, Shinnichi finds a dirty brunette girl. His head was on the iron bars. Occasionally his chest moved, indicating that he was still breathing.

“I-Mother... Father...” A soft voice came out from the girl. Calling his parents. “A-I want to go home..”.

Shinnichi stopped in place. Slightly stunned. I didn't think the girl would say anything. He extended his hand to the large padlock that locked the cage and smashed it easily. He also broke the chains that held his feet and hands together.

Shinnichi raised the girl slowly. Be careful not to hurt her.

“You want what he is?” Schwarz asked. Already know the answer.

“You think I'll do what?” Shinnichi asked back. I know what Schwarz thinks.

Shinnichi laid the girl by the bonfire. Gave her a little warmth. His body is thin dry. Shinnichi barely felt his weight.  His body was covered in wounds and dried blood. His hair was dirty, and only a piece of scrap cloth became his clothes. On his head, a pair of long ears drooped weakly.

He's a rabbit beastkin.

The conditions are worse than the usual slaves. At least they're fed, this girl looks like she hasn't eaten for days. Shinnichi, who was concerned about how it felt to be hungry, understood the suffering.

He took off his necklace and placed the crystal of Emphiria near his mouth. Not to forget, Shinnichi propped up the girl's head. Trying not to make him choke, Shinnichi drains the Emphirian healing water little by little into the girl's throat.
