Reincarnated Into Weak Noble
Chapters 12. Umbral Plague

‘The little red bumps that are on his head, it is not wrong again it is a disease 'Umbral Plague.’

Arthur stared intently at the little bump he knew something about the disease.

“Welcome, introduce my name Glena. So what do you want here?”

A warm smile was drawn on Glena's wrinkled face she let out a smile as smooth as possible even though the face was now wrinkled, but did not dissipate her warmth.

“Mother she saved me from the bad guys this sister's name is Arthur.”

Aron looked happy, the hood of the robe swayed following him who was moving vigorously and just at that moment Arthur's eyes opened wide, a similar little lump sprawled very clearly on the child's back neck.

‘So she also has 'Umbral Plague.’

Glena looked at the silent Arthur at the entrance of her room she smiled and told Arthur to sit at the side. The teenager simply nodded and accepted the mother's offer.

“So do you know this disease we have?” glena asked Arthur, looking at him as if he were alert, afraid that Arthur would do something bad.

Arthur clasped his arm a little afraid to imagine this. “Yes this is 'Umbral Plague'.”

The look of the mother glanced at her son who was sound asleep, she had just been selling naturally tired, seeing her son made the mother smile.

“Yes you are right we both are sufferers ‘Umbral Plague’”

“So the disease is real I just read in the dark world history book there it is said that ‘Umbral Plague’ is a disease where...”.

Arthur did not dare to continue for fear of hurting Glena he chose the right decision not even need to say Glena and her son knew for themselves about their condition.

“You read a book that is quite forbidden to be honest I was quite surprised, people your age are unlikely to want to read a book like ‘dark world history’ even the book is hidden and only a few tall people are allowed to read, actually who are you?”

Arthur was speechless he couldn't possibly reveal that he was a noble let alone that he had just escaped. Lucky for this mother and son to know nothing of the outside world, they did not even know the hallmarks of the famous Midnight family.

Arthur felt relieved because he would not be recognized, but at the same time sad because they must be constrained so that they do not know the outside world.

“Numerous people think that ‘Umbral Plague’ is a spreading disease that is dangerous then we are shunned, but the fact is even more terrible than that and I'm sure you must know right Arthur?”

Arthur nodded his head.

Before discussing the serious talk Glena let out a long sigh this conversation would be more serious.

“umbral Plague’ is a disease that causes victims to slowly fade into ‘umbral’, which is a dark and shadowy form of themselves. As the disease progresses, the physical form of the victim will be filled with increasingly large red bumps and they lose contact with reality.

"This is a disease in which the victim loses his identity and becomes a lifeless shell of himself, trapped in an "umbral" that slowly eats him from within."

"They will be filled with uncontrollable emotions, going crazy and torturing themselves by scratching their faces until they bleed incessantly, don't stop there after that their bodies can't be controlled normally, they become completely crazy creatures, attacking whatever is there.... Until here you should know right Arthur?"

Arthur swallow this spit is really a terrible disease for sufferers ‘umbral Plague’ no hope other than waiting for death awaits of course he had read from the book but saw it directly of course gives a sense of that be different.

“Hey, Arthur I have a good idea this disease will not be lost, however.. when I become an uncontrolled ‘umbral’ container and go crazy I want you to kill me just think of it as a way of rescue for the sufferers of ‘umbral Plague." Glena gave a proposal with a warm smile.

‘How can he say such a thing?’

"You don't have to answer for now I'm just asking for help, I don't want to kill this crazy person and what I'm most afraid of is killing my own son."

Glena's eyes looked at Aron who was sound asleep like a child in general she was quite fond of falling asleep.

Aron is the only child of his puppet, of course Glena does not want to kill Aron accidentally.

"Yes, I will consider" Arthur gave an answer despite being one hundred percent unsure.

"Then I look forward to it" Glena said with a warm smile.

*****

The day became darker as Tamus Arthur asked her to return home before nightfall. The moment he reached him looked at Tamus who was busy reading some sort of newspaper in the living room chair.

Arthur approached Tamus and sat in front of him.

“Tamus it about son just him-”

“The child is a sufferer ‘umbral Plague’ is that true?”

Arthur was silent for a few seconds he bowed his head. “Yes, you are right. Do you think that there is no way for them to heal.”

Silent. Before answering the old man decided to drink the warm water he prepared, he let out a breath as if it was a way of calming down, then he looked at Arthur seriously.

“No ‘umbral Plague’ is not a curable disease, if you meet such a person it is better you just ignore it, or you will regret it later on.”

If thought logically this is true, but Arthur felt emotion with a cold answer from Tamus he hoped Tamus would provide a solution, but instead told away.

“How can you say such a thing?”

“Why? The answer is very easy. Are you willing to kill the affected person ‘umbral Plague’?”

Deg

Arthur's heart felt tight, of course he would not be able to, his face now paled a little.

“I've guessed you can't possibly slash someone you already know, so ignoring ‘umbral Plague’ is the right choice.”

“But what really there is no other option-”

“Nothing! Why did you become obsessed with ‘umbral Plague’ sufferers? They will not be able to be saved, they will lose their senses little by little and become crazy humans who attack relentlessly. You cannot possibly kill such a person.”.

Silence surrounded this room, Tamus felt a little guilty for yelling out all of a sudden and Arthur also pondered all of this. It is true what Tamus said.

“Sorry I'll sleep in the room first.”

Tamus walks into the room leaving Arthur still stunned to think of a way to save them even if it was impossible;
