AUDREY'S PATIENCE

The afternoon was just around the corner, when Daniel arrived at Arthur's residence with Thalia and their twins, who were now the same age as Alle, Azzaryan and Azzalea.

"Where's style? Still resting?" Daniel asked Audrey who welcomed them.

"Still in the room," Audrey pointed towards the stairs.

"I'll take it upstairs then." Cetus Daniel.

Daniel wants Leah to take him along, but Thalia prevents.

"Lea and Ryan stay here, Daniel!"

"All right!" Said Daniel who had run up the stairs leading to Kyle's room on the second floor.

"Sleepless kok. Where's Aunty and Uncle?" Thalia asked Audrey who was busy playing around with Lea and Ryan.

"There is an event outside. Maybe back soon. If Alle, Sean and Rachel had gone to Rachel's parents' house. Looks like we'll be staying there" Audrey said, answering Thalia's question.

"That one is already married to Zayn," replied Daniel who was actually a little uncomfortable because he had to go back to prying and confusing it,

"Don't Thalia say Zayn's wife was Thalita, Thalia's twin sister? So meaning?" Kyle was confused.

"Yes the girl in Paris who was Thalita at the time" Daniel grimaced a little.

"So you and Zayn exchanged a couple like that? You married Zayn's girlfriend and then Zayn married your boyfriend?" Guess Kyle guessed.

"Picture it that way! And that was five years ago, Kyle! Now we're happy with our partners!" Tukas Daniel tried to end the explanation of the chapter exchanging couples that confused many of these parties.

"What's wrong with you all? You're not married to your lover, and you're exchanging partners."

"Sean too, instead of marrying Emily, married Rachel who knows who. And I haven't met Emily, who she says is married to" Kyle seemed to remember the name of Emily's husband, whom Dad Nick once called.

"Galen! That's Emily's husband's name!" Sela Daniel reminds Kyle.

"Well that's Galen! Who is Galen?" Kyle chuckled and felt confused himself.

"You didn't marry Valeria and you gave Vale to a widower" Daniel chuckled.

"That's it! I feel like I'm the dumbest guy in the world to just let Vale go. I don't know what I was thinking at the time," Kyle chuckled as if he was cursing himself.

Looks like Kyle is really sorry for releasing Valeria. And now, Kyle said it outspokenly as if he had forgotten Audrey's presence in the room. Audrey is Kyle's legal wife. But Kyle did not take care of Audrey's feelings.

Audrey could even hear very clearly Kyle's regret, and it was predictable that Audrey's countenance had immediately turned sad.

"But you've got a nice and beautiful wife, Kyle! So let go of your regrets about your run-down relationship with that Vale!" Daniel gave Kyle advice.

Kyle looked at Audrey who was still busy playing with Lea and Ryan.

"I don't remember anything about Audrey. Isn't that weird?" Kyle was confused.

"I'm sure it's only temporary, Kyle! Your memories of Audrey will definitely return soon, as you are a very romantic couple who envy everyone" said Thalia, who immediately made Kyle furrow both eyebrows.

"Certainly that?"

"Yes! Your proposal to Audrey is so romantic. Thalia and I watched the video over and over again" said Daniel, who immediately chimed in on Thalia.

"Not to mention your wedding so wow! Then the wedding vows I made to Audrey, they were also very deep and romantic." Thalia once said as if she was reminding Kyle of all the romantic things that had happened between Kyle and Audrey.

"Audrey, you still keep all your videos and marriage proposals, don't you?" Daniel asked Audrey.

"Yes! Everything is still there and I keep it tidy," Audrey replied slightly stuttering.

"Maybe you can show Kyle everything" Daniel suggested, which Audrey answered with a nod.

"Yes, I'll give all the footage to Kyle." Audrey answered who was still nodding.

"How long have we been married, Audrey?" Kyle asked, looking at Audrey.

It was no longer the loving gaze that Kyle was throwing at Audrey right now. But just a flat gaze like when Kyle was staring at someone else.

Audrey is no longer that special person in Kyle's heart.

"One year" replied Audrey.

"Are we delaying the baby? Isn't that one year-"

"You and Audrey are on a pregnancy program, Kyle!" Sela Thalia was quick because she had seen Audrey's sad face.

Audrey insisted on refusing Kyle's persuasion to marry because Audrey felt she was not the perfect woman. But Kyle desperately assures Audrey that it's not a problem. Then why is Kyle bringing it up now?

Thalia is certainly very familiar with Audrey's feelings now, because Thalia was also in the position of Audrey who was difficult to get a baby. "And, I'm sorry Audrey if my question offended you," Kyle added.

Audrey brushed her lip smile quickly.

"It's okay, Kyle! I'm fine!" Audrey answered with conviction.

Audrey is not okay!

Audrey wants to cry now!
