"I'm Audrey Zivia Abraham, promise to always love you, Kyle Aditya Arthur. Loving in all circumstances. In difficulty or pleasure. In health or in pain. To walk with you through the complexities of this life. Share laughter and share sadness. Struggling together through domestic life, until we age together."
Kyle smiled faintly at the video of his own marriage with Audrey. Kyle keeps repeating the video section as Audrey chants the sacred vows of marriage. That woman looks so happy.
Why does Kyle not remember?
Kyle instead looked at Audrey who was already asleep on the sofa room. Kyle had asked Audrey to sleep on the bed and Kyle to sleep on the couch. But Audrey is so stubborn and always takes the bed on the sofa, and then lets Kyle master this bed alone.
That woman is so stubborn!
Kyle replaced the wedding video he had watched on his laptop with a video of Kyle proposing to Audrey in the rain.
That romantic Kyle was with Audrey first.
Then why was there not the slightest memory left in his heart now?
Audrey's face felt very foreign.
Except for Abraham's name on the back of Audrey. That's all that sounds familiar to Kyle.
Audrey Zayn's sister.
Kyle keeps repeating the video as he kneels in front of Audrey, thrusting his wife's blue ring box, and then pinning the diamond ring on Audrey's ring finger.
The scene kept Kyle playing over and over again, hoping that his memories with Audrey would return even if it was just a glance.
But everything is useless!
Kyle growled in frustration and grabbed his own hair because now his head even hurts!
"Suck!" Kyle is still frustrated.
Kyle closed his laptop and placed it roughly on the nightstand. The man got up to his feet as the paper inscribed with his wedding vows to Audrey accidentally fell to the floor.
Kyle picked it up and read it once more, even though Kyle had already read it.
"Promise to help you love life. Grasping you gently for patience, because that's what love requires."
"Love you wholeheartedly, to live in the warmth of your heart that I call home."
Kyle approached Audrey who was still asleep. Staring at the face of the woman who was still like a stranger.
Kyle grabbed the blanket wrapped around Audrey's body.
Kyle was back on his feet when the sentence on the paper was back on his head.
"Grabbing you gently for patience."
Kyle turned back and looked again at Audrey's face that remained asleep. After repeatedly taking a deep breath, Kyle immediately carried Audrey's body and moved her onto the bed. Allowing once again a blanket to cover Audrey's body.
Now replace Kyle who sleeps on the couch in the room.
****
Audrey blinked her eyes repeatedly, as the woman found herself sleeping on the bed.
Whahuh?
How could?
Audrey made sure once more and while checking the sofa she was sleeping on last night, Audrey found Kyle who was still fast asleep there.
But who moved Audrey off the couch?
Audrey slept on the couch last night and Audrey never slept walking.
Audrey immediately got out of bed and walked over to Kyle who was still sleeping on the sofa. The man's blanket almost fell to the floor, so Audrey picked it up and confirmed the location of the blanket.
Audrey felt really longed for her old Kyle, so while Kyle was still asleep, Audrey immediately reached out her hand to wipe Kyle's face. Screeching over Kyle's face, Audrey rubbed gently, imagining Kyle's smile being so soothing. Kyle's laughter is sometimes jarring, and Kyle's mischievous grin when the man is thinking pervertly and is about to ask Audrey for a ration.
Audrey was still walking down Kyle's face when suddenly the two men's eyes opened and Kyle immediately got up from lying down.
Audrey who was also shocked immediately shuffled backwards until she fell on the floor.
"What are you doing, Audrey?" Asked Kyle whose eyes were reddened. Either out of anger or because the man was still sleepy?
Kyle closed his eyes for a moment, as if he had just remembered that Audrey was indeed his wife. Then why would Kyle be angry just because Audrey touched her face?
"I'm sorry, if I was rude earlier," Kyle had gotten up from the sofa and helped Audrey to get up.
Audrey did not answer and just lowered her face.
"Did you rub my face like that?" Kyle's question arrived which instantly made Audrey lift her face.
"Newly. I'm sorry, if I'm presumptuous," Audrey replied quickly.
"No! I mean before I lose my memory. Did you rub my face like that?" Kyle repeated his question.
Not just rubbing it.
I even kiss your face every morning, every minute when we're close together.
Audrey just muttered inwardly as she looked at Kyle's face.
"Audrey!" Reprimanded Kyle because Audrey was daydreaming and not answering questions.
"Eh, yes! Yes, Kyle! I wipe your face every morning when we wake up. Then after that you'll change to rub my face," Audrey replied slightly stammered.
Then kiss me like I won't stop.
Audrey continued in her heart.
"Like this?" Kyle's hand was suddenly stretched out and rubbed Audrey's sad face.
Audrey closed her eyes, enjoying the gentle touch of Kyle's hand that had been for more than a month Audrey didn't feel.
"Like this, Audrey?" Kyle asked once more Audrey who closed her eyes.
"Yes, like this," Audrey replied softly.
"You mind if we do it every morning as a new routine?" Kyle asked expectantly.
"I mean like this. I saw a doctor yesterday. And the doctor said if I went through the routine I used to do before I lost my memory over and over again. Then the chances of my memory coming back soon are much greater" Kyle explained to Audrey.
Audrey nodded in understanding.
"I don't mind at all."
Audrey's reply instantly made Kyle review a faint smile.
"You're at the office today?" Ask Kyle again to Audrey.
"Yes." Yeah."
"Maybe we can go together. I also started to work today," Kyle bargained with Audrey despite still looking stiff and awkward.
"Didn't Daniel send your work home?" Audrey asked a little doubtfully.
"I'm already saturated at home so I'm just going to the office and going through my routine" Kyle replied confidently.
"Well, if you think so," Audrey said at the end.
"I'll take a shower first" said Audrey, who had taken the clothes from the closet.
Audrey certainly remembered with a warning from Kyle about him who had to wear full clothes when he came out of the bathroom. Even now Audrey also always wears full pajamas during night sleep. Audrey doesn't need a shirt every night because Kyle warms her up.
It's all about time.
