14. Not an Indiscriminate Person

"It all started after I was born..."

The three men in the room looked at Karin in surprise. I didn't think the story would start there.

"...Heeem, looks like it's too far... All right, I'm gonna go through the boring prologue and jump straight into the action."

Karin then began to tell how she got information about Asami's whereabouts when she did the ‘small’ heist.

Rusdi and Rayhan listened intently, their gazes occasionally looking towards Roy who was prostrating beside Karin.

"...and as soon as I saw this photo of the girl that was so viral on this man's phone, my instincts went into action. I'm beginning to suspect that the Black Wolf organization has something to do with your daughter's abduction."

Karin ended the story.

Rayhan still has a hard time believing Karin's story, he doubts the woman in front of him can rob a branch of one of the biggest black organizations so easily.

‘Could this be a trap?.’ thought Rayhan.

While Rusdi who was desperate to think about the safety of his daughter had no other choice but to believe in the mysterious figure in front of him.

"But sir, we don't know yet whether he can be trusted or not."

Rayhan tried to warn, but Rusdi just snapped it.

"You think we have better information than this!."

Break it!

Rusdi hit his desk hard until his fist bled. Seeing that Rayhan could only bow his face.

"We have been doing everything for one week but it is all in vain. There's not a single piece of information we can get!."

Rayhan's regret grew even greater when he remembered his failure to seek information. He who fails in the mission has no right to speak out.

Either because the late night made Karin sleepy, or she got tired of seeing the drama between the employer and the men in front of her.

After his affairs are finished Karin intends to go home soon. But Rayhan quickly stopped him.

Karin turned to Rayhan and said. "I've done, and got all the necessary information."

"Then why are you giving this guy not the information you have?." Rayhan's words made sense.

Rusdi was also confused.

"That's because the payment I received didn't match the difficulties I faced during the interrogation. If you want instant information then give me the same amount as before."

The figure gave a small laugh, while Rayhan thought it was like a fraud.

But his laughter immediately stopped because suddenly Karin's phone again sounded and showed a notification from the bank like before.

"Sultan is free, isn't he."

Karin is still hard to believe if there is someone who dares to give that much money away, even though they still do not know whether the information Karin will give a truth or just a hoax.

Because Karin had already gotten his payment, he would not want to have to say the information he got from Roy.

"You're saying my daughter only has three days left, right?." Ask Rusdi.

"Yes, that's because three days from now there will be an auction on the black market. And you know what artiny is."

Both cannot say, the black market is the worst option, thinking it will end up in that place, a place that ordinary people cannot reach even if you have money

"You mean my son...." Rusdi's voice is getting weaker.

Seeing Karin who did not touch his warning, Rayhan was about to shoot Karin in the leg, but the maid with the iron helmet swung her hand quickly. Next a large needle shot into the piston hole.

There was a small explosion when a clogged gun attempted to fire. Rayhan was so surprised, while Rusdi just watched everything that happened without saying anything.

"I should have pointed another knife at your head. But since I'm so tired then I'll assume this never happened."

Karin again walked towards the exit, "If you need someone to sneak in or save someone, you can hire me. But at ten times the cost of information."

After saying that Karin came out of the room.

After Karin's departure, Rusdi asks Rayhan to arrest Roy, and he will ask his confidants to gather more information.

After that Reyhan tried to monitor the woman with an iron helmet, but his efforts ended in vain. Rayhan did not find the slightest trace of this woman.

"Is my tracking ability really that bad?." Rayhan felt that the woman had vanished as if she had been swallowed by the earth, to the point that there was not a trace of her that she had managed to find.

"Not even a single surveillance camera has captured his whereabouts both when he infiltrated the building and when he left."

Seeing how the iron-clad girl easily infiltrated the heavily guarded building while smuggling in a grown man, Rayhan concludes that the girl is not an indiscriminate person.

Karin tries to get out of bed but her body feels so heavy, her head starts to get dizzy and blood flow is interrupted.

"But when this is different, this body still can't hold all that."

He was thinking of getting back to rest, after all, he was still on school leave. But he immediately threw away that thought.

"The black sheep will only make you weak."

Without caring about her body condition, Karin immediately got up towards the bathroom. He won always like that, always forging his body to the limit, because that was the only way Karin knew to be the strongest.
