33. End of first year

Two major changes are taking place in the world, but not everyone is aware of them.

The first change takes place in the underworld where dark businesses are ruled by gangsters and mafia. Currently, the underworld is experiencing a major shock due to the war on Tanjung Group.

However, it might be an exaggeration to say that the war involved all the black organizations in the world against one company belonging to a family. In fact, only one person actively fought against black organizations.

Even so ready to think the impact given by one person can cause a storm of significant change. The underworld order slowly faltered, it was only a matter of time before it was completely destroyed.

"I don't really want to do this, you know?" karin said with a voice without power. He did not know for sure whether the fight he had just finished made him weak or because of a bottle of tequila that made him drunk.

"Oh yeah?" reply to the bartender who was standing across the table right in front of Karin.

"Really, do you think you're ready to travel the world just to get rid of trash like them?" karin asked while showing some bodies lying stiff on the floor.

"If they don't bother my master's family first, then I won't do any of this either. It's that simple."

One of his jobs is to protect the Tanjung family. However, the way he did during the running of the task is often considered too excessive.

If a group attempts an assassination against what it is his duty to protect, Karin will retaliate by eliminating all parts of the group to its roots.

Over the past half year, there have been hundreds of black organizations that Karin destroyed. His actions certainly get the attention of various parties, not just from criminals. People who worked with guaranteed legality also began to denounce Karin's actions.

In one gulp, Karin finished her drink then flicked one gold coin towards the bartender. He could feel the watchful gazes of everyone watching him at the bar.

They had weapons, but were hesitant to use them. If there was a slight mistake, their fate would end up the same as the dozens of corpses on the floor.

"Before you leave, can I hear what you think of this country?" ask bartender.

Karin looked at the old man with that thick, wavy mustache. He was silent for a moment as if he had trouble giving an answer.

"I don't have a lot of good impressions because it's not my goal to come here for a vacation" Karin replied.

"Then, what about the ‘Entrepreneurs’ you're targeting?"

"They're just cowards" Karin said as she looked at his hand. "Without shame, they take shelter behind the backs of children separated from their parents."

Hearing that, the bartender's face showed regret. "But maybe you'll find something worse than what you saw in this place during your trip" he said.

"I know, but it doesn't matter because I've done such a thing a thousand times" Karin said. After saying that, Karin left the Black Market branch in Mexico.

"Maybe there will be more cities like that in the country I will be visiting."

Karin has no regrets about what she has done. All for the sake of instilling fear in his opponents. Karin will make everyone understand if conspiring against her is a big mistake.

For an entire week, Karin traveled the world. Chaos ensued wherever he was, his acts of revenge have inflicted countless casualties, leading many countries to blacklist Karin.

But all that could not stop the girl. Its presence is like a natural disaster that is suddenly, unpredictable let alone stopped.

In just one week, the girl had become a legend in the underworld. Some refer to it as a monster, a human who should not be allowed to live is even considered as the incarnation of a demon.

"Much better," he murmured.

Considered as something terrible by the criminals, it makes Karin feel that what he has done so far is a big action.

The holiday period has ended, Karin returned to the homeland with various souvenirs. His grandfather came to pick him up at the airport. Karin looks like a girl who just returned from vacation like a tourist in general.

There was nothing suspicious he left behind.

The impact of his actions during the holidays made the days that Karin went through more peaceful.

At least that's how he feels.

But it is certainly different from life in the underworld which is getting heated up. The power struggle does not end, making things worse. The trust between black organizations is getting thinner.

Karin knew that it was going to happen, so she started planning to develop her own organization. Although Karin has many enemies, but the business will not look at colleagues or opponents.

His company, Black Company, experienced rapid development during the last months of the year thus making him one of the most powerful in the black market branch of Indonesia.

Time did not seem to pass so quickly when Karin was so busy taking care of the Tanjung family and his own company.

Years changed, he again got the first position on the class examination. On her first day as a second grader, Karin finds things very different from what she felt before.

She was no longer a weak student who was the target of everyone's bullying.

She was just a girl who returned to the past after a long stint from the gods.

A second chance was given as a result of his hard work of conquering thousands of demon lords in thousands of different worlds.

Right now, what he had achieved made him respected, whereas what he had done made him despised as well as feared.

But even though she had stood at the top, Karin knew that the peace she currently felt was coming to an end.

Then comes the last change that is not so realized, but can be felt the greater the effect. Perhaps only Karin could currently sense that change.

Magic energy had leaked into this world. Although thin, Karin could not be mistaken with the energy he had used for decades to carry out the task as a representative of the god.

The appearance of magic energy that should not exist in this world only provided one explanation if Dark Age was about to begin.
