In the middle of the white room me and the man who claimed not to be a god sat together facing each other.
"so you're really not a god?." I said by folding my hands in front of my chest.
I closed my eyes thinking of a way to apologize for the mistake I made.
"I... Yeah..."
The man's voice trembled as it endured the pain.
"What are you then?."
Opening one eye, I saw the man's face begin to recover by healing magic.
"I...."
The man seemed a bit hesitant to reveal himself. But after hearing my growl and clenched hands again, he spoke immediately.
"Tu. wait, a. a. I'm an Administrator!."
He said in a panic.
"Administrator?."
"True, I'm definitely not a god, please believe me."
Tears flowed again, she seemed desperate, afraid if I did not believe her words and again tortured her.
He even bowed before me.
‘She is no different from the naughty kids I met.’
I remember training the royal army when I was a messenger of the Gods. Some people will come to underestimate the ability that I have, they are not willing to work under the orders of the weak.
There were no words they wanted to hear from people who were considered weak, therefore I always used the path of violence.
‘the path I call the violent path. It was very effective to show the attitude of his Boss.’
Although the way I used always made them get traumatized to almost crazy, but in the end I got loyal subordinates.
Back in the present, the man kept watching me as I was recalling the past. His gaze grew even more sharp as if he was seeing something in me.
"What the fuck!"
Suddenly she screamed so loud that it shocked me.
Braak!
"Yesamaha!."
My fist hit her face again.
"What did you see?." I asked while lifting my fist.
"No, I beg you to forgive me."
Seeing that reaction made me angry.
"Why is everyone always apologizing when I just start asking questions?." I kicked the man in the stomach a few times.
"Didn't answering straight away make things a lot easier?."
"Agh. a. I'm just looking at your past..."
After hearing that answer I stopped my kick, the man coughed up blood several times and came back to sit in front of me because I asked for it.
His face grew even more frightened after seeing something from my memory, it made me wonder what he saw.
"If you can see the past, then I don't need to explain why I hit you, right?."
"I don't understand."
"Huh?."
My eyes looked back at him sharply.
"Hieeek, i... I understand!."
After she calmed down a bit, I told her to explain all about why I was in this white world, what was Administrator and and how I was going to meet the Gods.
"I don't know how you came to my domain. It should be this time that only the Gods are allowed to enter here."
The administrator introduced himself as Crile Ceo, currently he is serving as the supervisor of the dimension of the world I come from.
"I think God did the job." My speech.
Hearing my words Crile looks upset. "Currently, these proud creatures always get credit for the work they never did."
Crile said if his job as Administrator was to guard the dimensional gate, anyone who wanted to enter the world he guarded would have to obtain permission ahead of him.
"In the meantime the gods are but capitalist slackers."
I was quite surprised to hear him say that. It was as if Crile was venting all his pent-up irritation.
If the Gods were like a ruler of a territory, they would take care of a world inhabited by living beings and guard it from all threats.
Instead they will get a reward in the form of positive energy from the followers of the god.
But there are also Gods who do not have a realm of power. They often make a roar by messing with the world ruled by other gods.
"Right," Crile replied as he nodded.
"because you've had hundreds.... Maybe even a thousand times to move the world. You must be aware of this." He continued his explanation.
The goal of the evil Gods was to create chaos because they wanted to seize the world from the ruling god. But there are also evil Gods who just want to see a world burn.
"Then who is the God who rules my home world, he must have sent me to another world right?."
I thought I would soon find out the identity of the God who made my life so miserable, but Crile shook his head instead.
"The world is without managers." Reply Crile.
My head was tilted because I did not understand the meaning of his words.
"Ahem," he coughed lightly, turning his face away. I saw his ears start to roll.
‘Why him?.’
Crile said that the world does not have a God of rulers.
"The throne is still empty" he said.
Seeing the confusion on my face, Crile continued his explanation quickly before my punch flew towards him.
"It takes great energy to hold a competition of the Gods, it is indispensable to choose a ruler. And until now this world has not had enough of that energy...."
The competition?.
Energy?.
All the explanations he gave made me even more confused.
"Tsk, your head must be just a muscle brain."
"Did you say something?."
"Ah no-no, it must be just the sound of the wind."
Although Crile said so, but I did not feel the slightest bit of wind in this place. That's right, then how have I been breathing all this time?.
Crile immediately continued. "You must have heard of Dark Age, right?."
"Of course, almost the whole world I've been to has a history of dark times."
Dark Age is the time when the Gods begin to interfere with the matter of mortal beings. Help defeat the evil god, then guide all living things towards the golden age.
I used to try to research what happened during the Dark Age, but it was all in vain. The entire historical record of that time has been erased, as if the Gods did not want what really happened in that time to be revealed.
"That makes me very curious." I murmured.
Some of the information that I have gathered from the Dark Age is that there was a great disaster that changed the world forever, followed by the resurrection of the evil God.
The previous major disaster was believed to have been the work of an evil god. Then the good God intervened to give his help to the chosen people.
"In short, all the evil Gods and their minions were defeated until the world was safe again, that's what I know about Dark Age."
Crile gave a small nod, "The big line is like that, and now the world you live in will soon enter that era" he said.
As if struck by a level 10 lightning magic, I was very surprised by what Crile said. The darkest period of any world I have visited will now happen to my world.
"Then the energy you mean?."
Crile did not immediately answer my question, he kept silent while repairing his glasses with magic.
The man who introduced himself as Administrator seemed to have difficulty explaining what would happen next.
The early days of Dark Age were marked by catastrophic events, millions of people lost their lives due to the disaster.
"That's a guarantee to be paid. The souls of the victims will be absorbed and used as energy to apply the 'System' to this world."
I can't speak with all the information I hear.
The system that makes living things can be controlled by Gods.
The system that changed everyone was no different from a bloodthirsty savage beast.
The system that changed the world became so chaotic that God himself sent an envoy who was none other than Me to straighten things out.
"THAT KIND OF THING YOU WANT TO APPLY TO MY WORLD!."
My anger overflowed until the white room shook violently.
"I knew this was going to happen, but I didn't think it was going to be this bad."
Crile knew I would be angry when he found out the truth, even he had prepared himself if I went back to beating him.
But he still looked panicked as his domain began to crumble from my anger.
Then soon the dimensional crack came to a halt as my emotions began to be controlled.
"I'm quite surprised." Said Crile who was now wearing thick armor. He said it was for protection in case I went back on a rampage.
