23. Bounty

Black envelopes are a brilliant idea, at least that's what Vincent thinks of his own idea.

Giving black envelopes to random guests, holding envelope holder hunting contests aimed at enlivening and providing entertainment for bored criminals.

The rewards offered would be enough to get large organizations interested in joining the hunt.

But the black market is a place where sinners and lawbreakers come together, and the rules of that place are questionable. Likewise with Vincent who is not at all fair to run a black envelope game.

He did not randomly select guests who would be given black envelopes, but he deliberately chose those whom he considered ‘Bothering’ to be targeted.

"Get rid of those who oppose me, so that nothing can prevent me from controlling the entire black organization. The dark world of this country will definitely be in my hands."

Vincent was so proud of his plan, but even the perfect plan could not escape the possibility of failure. He was aware of that, but did not expect the failure of his perfect plan to happen so early.

Knowing the information Baiden was not at all surprised, he was already suspicious before coming to the black market exactly when he saw all his men were finished off by the woman alone.

But he was still not convinced at that time, until Baiden's suspicions were strengthened while the woman was not reluctant when dealing with the organization Badak Lore.

"So who is he?." Vincent asked back.

"I don't know." Baiden replied indifferently, but he immediately added after seeing an angry Vincent glaring at him.

"He introduced himself as Aiden."

"Maiden?." Vincent misheard.

"Mom... That's not...." Baiden was about to justify it but Vincent immediately ordered his subordinates to remove Baiden from the room.

Vincent's gaze refocused on the monitor screen which showed the iron helmeted woman currently heading towards the main hall.

"Maiden's? What a strange name... I'll just add the name to make it cooler."

Vincent wrote something on a piece of paper, "About how much of a Bounty should I give you?." He tried hard to calculate the prize that would be given to Karin's head.

The paper Vincent wrote was nothing but a murder request that he would scatter the entire black market.

After a careful count Vincent ends up putting in a sizable number of his grades, but the female secretary who looks at the Bounty numbers suggests Vincent should add more.

Hearing his secretary's advice certainly made Vincent angry, "Is this much still not enough!." The impact, but the bespectacled woman did not pay attention to the anger of her superiors and instead gave an explanation.

"Monster's." He said as he felt his body tremble in fear just from looking at Karin's gaze.

After coming out of the torture chamber no one was chasing anymore, but it did not make me happy at all.

"They must be waiting for me in the main hall.".

I think every organization definitely doesn't want to lose more members, because that could cause their position in this place to go down.

The more members the greater the strength of the organization, it affects the position and power of the organization in the dark world. That means losing a lot of members can be fatal for an organization.

That's why I thought if they were prepared to go on a massive attack to end it all.

They would definitely carry out the attack in a large place. And that place is the main hall.

During this fight Karin won was done in narrow alleys that allowed the woman to fight three to four people at once, she was not afraid of being surrounded when fighting in tight places.

"Have they also put a Bounty on my head?."

"Well! How could you think like that. If you get killed then it's our turn they're after." Rasya's voice sounded so angry.

"I see, it doesn't really matter what my situation is like. As long as I'm alive, you'll be safe." That's sarcasm you're afraid to say.

The situation became silent for a moment, until Rasya apologized for his words.

"There's no need to apologize, because that's my job."

Before the awkward situation lasted any longer, I began to ask a few things that were the reason why I contacted them.

First was the infiltration into the main hall, the three of them left first while I was pulling up a fuss for the diversion.

"Convinced I can declare if the infiltration mission is a success." Farhan.

"That's a good thing, at least my efforts to make a bloody hand like this aren't worth it." My reply.

Rayhan and Rasya immediately thanked me for what I had done. Then the second mission after successfully infiltrating the main hall was information search.

They said they managed to find the Black Wolf headquarters, but unfortunately did not know exactly where Asami was hidden. Hearing that, I gave the information I got from the Black Wolf members I interrogated.
