Revenge Journey

Revenge Journey
Chapter 22's

I can't tell them all, if the one who wants to kill me by sending the assassin is Prince Stellan. Because if I tell them and this information gets scattered to the royal area and gets to the ears of the other princes then when I want to do something it will be more difficult because they will be more beware of myself. (Batin Laren)

"Prince, do we need to report to the king's majesty on this matter?" Asked one of the guards guarding the Laren residence.

"no need. There is no need to trouble the father about this matter. This is just a small matter, if anyone dares to go beyond the limit then I myself will step in." Laren.

"Okay, your highness the prince." Reply to the bodyguard while nodding in understanding.

"Now we continue to examine the water content of the Cano Cristales river. And find the source of this plague,"

"But the prince, it's still so night and the sky is still dark. Does the prince not want to rest any longer?" Said one of the ministers there.

"No need, I'm not tired. We'd better continue for this water content check." Laren.

"Well then prince." The minister responded with Laren's decision.

Haish... It's true that we can't change Prince Laren's decision. (The inner minister sighed deeply)

After that Laren went to the place where the observation of the Cano Cristales river water was done.

After many hours of observation, Laren finally found some dangerous substances contained in the water.

"This water..." Mumbled Laren while looking at the waterway.

"Is there really a prince problem?" Ask one of the guards there curiously.

"True, there is a problem in this water, it is most likely this water that caused the outbreak in this village." Reply Laren by not turning his attention to the water.

"But the prince's apologies, we all did not find any princes, but we did not mean to not believe the prince's words. But if we tell the people without solid evidence, then the citizens may not believe the noble." Said one of the ministers there.

Yes he is right. Only I have the eyes of the sky and can see the smallest objects but not with other royal members and let alone the villagers. If I just say without proof, they probably won't believe me. (Batin Laren mused)

"Hmm you're right." Reply Laren.

Laren thought about how to make the residents confident and believe if all this time the water they consume is water that contains harmful substances.

Laren pondered for a few moments then he remembered that when he first entered this area of the village he saw many dry trees.

When I first found out that the tree was dry but it was not the dry season, but now Laren knows that the tree that dried was because of the water from the Cano Cristales river.

"Guards please bring me fresh plants in pots and then bring them to me." Laren.

"Plants? But what's the prince for?" Asked the bodyguard astonished at the request of Laren who arrived.

"Bring the plant up later I'll explain it to you all."

"Good."

One of the bodyguards went to fulfill Laren's orders, after a while the bodyguard brought plants as Laren had ordered.

Laren also poured pure water from the Cano Cristales river into the plant and not long after that the originally fresh plant withered instantly and the leaves dried.

"What's? How did this plant come to die?" Said one of the ministers in surprise.

"Because the substances contained in the water of the Cano Cristales river are dangerous substances, therefore this plant dies just like the tree trees in the early area when we enter this village." Laren explained in detail.

"So... The water in the Cano Cristales river is really dangerous to consume even though the river has very clear water." One of the ministers said he did not believe what he saw.

"So this plague is really derived from the waters of the Cano Cristales river. The disease is not contagious but there are still many who get the disease from the river water because most of the people here drink from the water."

"The prince is really wise."

"The guards now warn the villagers not to drink this Cano Cristales river water again."

"Well the servant prince will tell the citizens, I'm sorry." The guard's words were then nodded back by Laren

"For the rest of us here, now our job is to find an antidote to the harmful substances present in the waters of the Cano Cristales."

"Good prince." Say the people who are there.

At midnight, the village chief was resting in his house and there was a knock on the door outside his house.

The head of the village rushed to open the door and saw who had come to his place at midnight.

"Supervisors? What was? Is there a problem?" The village chief asked in surprise at the arrival of the Laren bodyguard at his residence.

"There's something I want to tell you and this is an order from prince Laren." Said the guard.

"Well, please come in and say it." Said the village head and then allowed the guard to enter.

"No need, I'll just say it here." Said the guard.

"It's like this village chief. The prince has discovered the main cause of the plague in this village and told me to inform the villagers as well as you. Also tell you to warn the citizens not to consume the material for a day." The bodyguard began to explain clearly.

"What's? Did ya? So where did the deadly plague outbreak that appeared in this village come from? Can our villagers affected by this plague be cured?" Asked the village chief in great surprise

"I'm sure the prince can find an antidote for it and cure the citizens affected by this plague."

"Is that really a bodyguard?" The village chief almost couldn't believe it.

"True, and now prince Laren and several other royal figures are looking for a cure for the plague in this village."

"Where did the plague in this village come from the bodyguards?" The village chief was curious

"According to the observation of Prince Laren the plague in this village comes from the source of your drink, the Cano Cristales river."

"What?!"
