The prince really cares about the lives of his subordinates, it is rare for any noble to behave like this. (Into one of the guards)

Laren climbed onto one of his guards' horses and several other bodyguards carried the injured bodyguard into the carriage.

Then they went on to return to the kingdom, after a few hours of travel until they were all in the kingdom at night.

Laren ordered some men to bring the wounded bodyguards to be treated by the court physician, while he returned to his residence in the palace.

Since it was very late at night, Laren decided to report some information to the king the next day alone.

When Laren finished cleaning himself and had just laid down on his bed, he sensed Rayden's aura.

Laren got up and sat on the edge of his mattress while observing some corners of the room.

"Rayden's." Laren

"Prince, I salute you." Said Rayden who had just appeared in front of Laren

"Is there anything you come to night?" Ask Laren

"Prince, I'd like to report what happened in the palace while you were in the eastern village of the kingdom." Rayden

"Is there anything serious I need to get done right now?" Ask Laren with a very serious face

"Nothing urged the prince, but..." Reply Rayden

"Well, just say it tomorrow, now I'm so tired, I want to rest." Said Laren while lying on his bed

"E-uh? Alright... Alright prince." Rayden

It's my fault the prince just came home but I'm going to report to the prince. The prince must be very exhausted. (Inner Rayden)

"Then I permit the prince's farewell."

"Hm." Reply Laren briefly

Rayden also came out of Laren's room and walked the street in the palace courtyard, Rayden accidentally heard a conversation between the guards in front of him.

"So many hired assassins came to kill prince Laren while the prince was in the eastern village of the kingdom. Even on the way home, there were also some who attacked."

"True, the prince was so attentive to his subordinates that he raised the wounded guards to the carriage and he rode on the horse for hours."

Rayden left after hearing some information from the conversation of the guards who had joined Laren to the eastern village of the kingdom.

The next day, Laren woke up in the morning and went to clean himself up and prepared to meet the king.

One of the guards came in to inform the king of Laren's arrival while Laren was still waiting outside the room.

Not long after the bodyguard who had entered the king's room came out and allowed Laren to enter.

Laren entered and met the king who was in his room, Laren bowed and gave his greetings to the king.

"Laren saluted the father." Said Laren while bowing

"Self my son, sit here." Reply to the king

Laren obeyed what the king said and sat down at the place provided.

"Laren are you home, son? When did you get to the palace?" Asked the king while looking at Laren

"Laren returned last night father, Laren wanted to report to father yesterday when he returned. However, seeing the day was very late Laren was afraid to disturb the father's rest. So Laren decided to report the next day."

"You are very attentive to me my son. So how is the problem that exists in the eastern village of the kingdom? Do you need additional rock bodyguards or royal ministers?"

"No father, actually... Everything went well, father, the cause of the plague in the eastern village of the kingdom is well known and Laren has also found a cure for it."

"Alright so you can't finish... Wait, what? Did you really find all that?"

"Right father." Reply Laren while nodding

"It's good for my son." The king said with great pleasure

Arrived when Laren and the king were chatting there were bodyguards entering the room.

"Hamba salutes the king and the prince of Laren." Said the bodyguard while bowing

"What's the bodyguard?" Ask the king

"The noble has just had some citizens who claim to be from the eastern village come to the kingdom and give some food. They said that this was a little sign of gratitude to Prince Laren for helping to solve the problems in the eastern village of the kingdom." The guard explained

"really?"

"Right, they are very grateful to Prince Laren for his help."

"All right, I get it. You can go."

The guard bowed and left the room.

"It's a good thing my son, you've successfully completed your first royal assignment after all these years."

"Thank you father, after this Laren will help the kingdom to progress again." Laren said with a smile to the king

"Good, good." Said the king very happily

Laren was just smiling a little when he saw the king laughing happily because of him.
