Sheet 10: Behemoth in Daffodil

“Your Majesty, put me down..” said Zinn, sounding limp. “I can walk by myself.” Zinn sounded as if he wanted to dodge Frost— indeed he was trying to dodge the owner of the golden eye bead. Zinn needed time to think about all the things he had seen and he also needed time to be able to explain them to Frost.

“I often dream, Ganache. I dreamt that I was a Devil. The dream felt so real that I didn't want to believe it at all. In that dream, I saw you too, I killed you using both my hands,” Frost said. He was convinced that what Zinn saw was the same as what he often dreamed of.

Zinn just kept quiet to hear Frost's story. That was what he saw in the subconscious of the man. But it's all just something uncertain. Now the two of them were ordinary humans, who remembered nothing and had no grudges whatsoever. Why keep looking back? Why not look at what you have now and plan for the best for the future?

“I saw it all,” said Zinn in the end. “It's not real. Even if it were real, we me and you both are human now. There is no revenge between the two of us. There are no regrets between us. What passes let it pass. You always say to me if it is not good always lock yourself in the past.”

Frost kissed Zinn's forehead. “Maybe I have deep feelings for you. Heaven and earth want us to meet again, maybe.. to resolve this feeling.” Frost fused his forehead and Zinn's forehead. “Ganache, will you be my Empress? Take it easy, not as the Devil's Bride, but as the bride of Frost Blanche Castleton.”

“Your Highness, how about the kids?” ask Zinn.

“There were yelling earlier, but so far I don't know where they are. I've walked very far from where we left them. But, I found no sign of their whereabouts,” Frost replied.

“Are you sure they went this way? Daffodils are very good at making buildings that can fool people. If we walk straight, this hallway seems to have no end. It looks like you have to bring out your special eye abilities again, Your Majesty,” Zinn said.

Frost nodded his head. “Good idea.” Frost closed his eyes for a moment, bringing out his ability. He could see that there were actually a lot of branches there. Frost could also see children clinging to a special camouflage wall. There was a child's corpse lying there, there was also a strange creature. “They're in danger, Ganache. It seems like there is a hidden portal here that makes the creature can be here.”

“That's impossible, Your Honor. The secret of Daffodil is not as easy as it is known to outsiders, unless there is indeed a traitor among them. Cardinal could not have betrayed me, I could see from her eyes that the child was a very honest person. I am suspicious of that very silent daughter.”

“You mean the daughter of the Chief of Daffodil? I don't feel any strangeness from him. He was indeed very quiet, judging from the outside it seemed like he was in shock over the massacre in his own tribe. “

Zinn shook his head. “I don't feel that way, Your Majesty. Somehow the blank look seemed to say that what was in his body was not the soul of the child himself. Like... there are those who control it, but can also cover up the evil aura itself and replace it to the aura of the child.”

Frost thought for a moment, trying to remember something. “Castleton has a library with many books and scrolls about complete Devils. I felt like I had read about a Devil who can control humans and hide his aura well. But, somehow I forgot it because I thought it was not important.”

Zinn jumped down from Frost's sling. He's feeling better than ever. Zinn helped Frost to think.

Zinn and Frost looked at each other. “Aka Manah?” They mentioned the name of Satan in the Zoroastrians simultaneously.

“Mictlantecuhtli, then Aka Manah, all the Devils from Hell seem to come to the world looking for you, Your Majesty,” Zinn said as he shook his head.

“I won't go with them. Now my place is in Regancy. I've become the Emperor here, it's no different from me when I'm the King of the Underworld. I'm not interested in Hell anymore,” Frost said.

Frost grinned coldly. “Author can they kidnap me? Wherever you are, Ganache, that's where I am. Don't expect them to take me anywhere. If they dare, I will crush the Underworld to pieces.”

“If the son of the chieftain also hides with them, doesn't that mean Aka Manah already knows their position?” Zinn stared frantically at Frost. He could not and did not want to imagine the rationing of children.

“Then once,” timpal Frost. “The child is indeed hiding along with other children. But, the camouflage wall saved them from Aka Manah's vision. But, still, whose name is a creature from Hell will definitely do everything possible to find its prey.”

“What else to look forward to? We have to save them!” zinn exclaimed, pulling Frost's arm. “Eh, but we have to go which way?”

Frost just shook his head. I want to try something. If I am a Devil, doesn't that mean I can master teleportation ability? thought.

Frost pulled Zinn's arm and touched the wall. Not until one blink of an eye, they had been in the presence of the ugly creature that Frost had seen through his abilities.

“Ah... it seems like this ability is too fast. Do we need to repeat once again, Ganache?” joke Frost.

Zinn was pensive to see Frost being able to teleport not even a blink of an eye. Frost's ability was indeed above average. Even the previous Emperor Castleton did not learn teleportation that easily. It seems like Frost's ability is related to his past.

“What should we do about this?” zinn asked while pointing at the ugly creature behind him. He felt uneasy as the creature exhaled a rough breath like a bull.

“Kill it!” exclaim Frost.

Frost hid Zinn behind his back and attacked the creature. Frost swung the sword equipped with magic power, but it did not even hurt the ugly creature.

The creature is an elephant-shaped figure, shaped like a sumo wrestler with a typical Underworld military outfit. Behemoths. The name suddenly flashed through Frost's mind.

“So, this is General Behemoth of the Nine-Tiered Hell? Pretty strong.” Frost grinned, happy to be met with such a powerful opponent. Whether it was Satan, Angels, or Humans, he was very happy to fight with powerful figures.

“Your Majesty de Void, descendant of Azazel, Eight Level Hell King. Already human, but still very arrogant,” said Behemoth unhappy.

Ah, why do I have to get involved in here? inner Zinn resigned.
