Sheet 12: Back to Castleton

“Oh? But the Old Grandpa was so afraid of his wife? Very surprising.” Frost wore a shocked expression that did not match him at all, making Zinn resentful and punching himself.

“Oi!” exclaim Frost. “What are you doing? Why do you like hitting me so much?”

“No special reason. That's because His Majesty is very annoying,” said Zinn.

Zinn glanced towards Fiery who was silent like a statue. He let out a long sigh and stared sternly at Frost.

Frost knew what Zinn wanted from him. “Alright, alright. But don't block me. I will release him from the influence of that ugly creature.”

Frost gently flicked Fiery's forehead and Zinn could see there was an evil aura coming out of the girl's body. It turned out that this little trick that belonged to His Highness Azazel was very useful, Zinn thought.

“I know you secretly admire that Old Grandpa. I'm really angry,” said Frost while clenching his fist. Looks like he's going to take Azazel to fight— with his powers that's not much.

“You still lost far to His Majesty Azazel. After all, I admired him as a junior. If His Majesty Azazel wishes to accept a disciple, I would gladly wish to become his disciple.”

Hearing that, Frost was burned by the flames of jealousy. “You can't admire anyone but me. I'll make a calculation with the people who stole your attention.” Frost sounded like a little boy whining about not being given candy.

Zinn smiled. Somehow he was happy to hear Frost was serious about his feelings.

"Those feelings of admiration, liking, and love are not the same, Your Majesty. I only admire His Majesty Azazel because he takes good care of his wife" Zinn said. He looked at Frost's face with a glaring look. "If you are. I don't know how I feel about you. I'm glad when you look at me. I'm happy when you say you like me."

Frost's eyes widened. He couldn't believe what his ears had just heard. Does that mean he loves me? Frost.

Frost was, of course, happy with the statement that Zinn loved him. However he will remain patient until the owner of the pink eye bead tells him himself.

Zinn and Frost could hear Fiery muttering something. They immediately approached the girl lying on the ground.

"Qer. za... Qer. za... Qerza, I. fear...."

After approaching Fiery, Zinn and Frost soon discover that the girl is looking for Qerza who is in Castleton Palace.

"We have to take this girl to the boy" Frost said. "Otherwise, he'll have a continuous nightmare and die from it."

"What are you waiting for? Let's get him to Young Master Cardinal's soon!" Zinn had a panicked expression on his face. He is weak to children.

Frost slashed through the air with his sword and they moved from the meadow to the gates of Castleton Palace, right in front of the children.

“Oh... you guys are back,” said Qerza, not surprised by their presence. He glanced at Fiery who was being paved by Zinn and immediately approached them. “Is Miss Fiery okay?”

Zinn shook his head. “He's not okay, Young Master Cardinal. He kept saying your name. Looks like your relationship is quite deep,” he said.

Qerza. “We were betrothed by the Chief himself. I've looked after him since he was small, it's only natural that the bond between us is strong. All my life, I only wanted to protect Miss Fiery. He is a very valuable person to me.” He clasped tightly onto Fiery's trembling hand and gently stroked his head.

“Then you all stay here first. To your friends, I'm sorry, we can't do anything. We will try to find a good family for you,” said Zinn, calming the surviving children.

“If allowed, we will be happy to be your children, Your Majesty,” Goda Qerza.

Zinn blushing. He really likes kids, but not necessarily Frost would approve, right?

“If you feel like it, you can take care of them for a while. I am tired and want to sleep. You're the one who decided.” Frost kissed Zinn's cheek and disappeared from there.

Qerza took Fiery and sat the girl on a wooden bench in Castleton Palace's garden.

Zinn himself guided the other children towards a room they could use during their stay there. Finished guiding the children, he returned to the park and found Fiery unconscious.

“Your Excellency Empress.” Qerza waved at Zinn and the owner of the pink bead immediately approached him.

Fiery has very beautiful sky blue eyes. Zinn smiled at him, making him blush in embarrassment. “Greetings to Empress.” His voice was so smooth and sweet. Fiery looked like a polite and graceful child.

“Do not hesitate against me. And, one more thing, I am not the Empress. I am Prime Minister Castleton,” Zinn said, making Fiery and Qerza stare at each other and chuckle. “Why are you two laughing?”

“Your Highness, why do you avoid your own feelings?” ask Fiery.

Zinn was silent for a while, then he replied, “My and Your Majesty can't unite. We have a different path. If you keep trying to be together, there will definitely be bad things happening.”

“When you want to be with someone you love, do you have to think about the consequences that will be? Life is so short, nor do we know when to be together again,” said Fiery

Zinn became ashamed of himself. Kids know the meaning of love. Already a human being should not think about and be attached to the past. If you love, just love, he thought.

Zinn recalled what happened to him and Frost in the past. He breathed a heavy breath.

"Sometimes, son, there are two people who can't be together even if they love each other." Zinn sounded sad when he said it. "Two people who love each other carry out a great task, becoming enemies to destroy each other. How can the two people unite if their status does not allow them to unite?"

Fiery seemed to think. Qerza simply observed the conversation of the two women before him.

"If I were you and I loved His Highness Castleton, I would ask him to elope" Fiery replied. He looked so innocent, like any other kid.

The wind blew fiercely for a moment. Behind Fiery was Frost. The owner of the golden eye bead came from feeling called by someone.

Qerza immediately pulled Fiery into his arms. "Just calm down, Your Majesty. My fiance will not ask you to elope" he said.

"I didn't come to talk to you about stupid things. I came because I sensed something dangerous was approaching the castle. And, I'm also gonna turn down someone who asked me to elope, except for Ganache."
