Azan dawn sounded faint in the distance, while my eyes could not be closed since waking at three. I went from my bed to the bathroom to make ablution. After performing the dawn prayer, I woke Bagas up.
"Gas, it's dawn Gas. Get up Gas." I'm shaking Bagas' body.
Bagas got up and performed the dawn prayer.
"It's so early morning, yes, I just had a little sleep." murmured Bagas after the prayer.
"See praying first Gas." I said.
"Oh yeah, I forgot Di. Hehehe."
Today my class schedule starts at eight in the morning. I feel less excited today, due to lack of sleep. After taking a shower and cleaning the room, Bagas and I went to college. I forgot to lock the door.
"Lo why Di? Very lethargic, spirit dong!" bagas.
"Lack of sleep I'm Gas. I couldn't sleep for a dozen nights." I replied.
"Yee why can't you sleep? It was good to sleep in your room. Adem, no fan needed."
"No idea why. I tried, but I couldn't."
We walked through the garage. I saw Nek Iyah sweeping the page.
"Eh Adi Dek, are you going to college?" napa Nek Iyah's.
"Yes nek." I replied with a smile.
"Oh yeah, the water faucet's still broken?" ask Nek Iyah back.
"Still granny, sometimes like to dislodge the water faucet yourself."
"Yes, later in the same Ujang. Lock his room in my door." Nek Iyah said.
"Eh, is that okay, Grandma? Don't you wait for me to go back to college?" my many.
"It's okay, it's safe. Ujang is a person who works here. Nothing will be lost." explained Nek Iyah.
I also gave the keys to my room to Nek Iyah.
"Oh yes, I have something to ask."
"Ask what?"
"Anywhere around here is a newborn baby?" my many.
Nek Iyah was silent. Bagas was silent too.
"I've had two nights crying baby every three o'clock. And his voice was very tight, and the horror was very tight." I said.
"Eh, are you crying baby? Your feelings only once." said Nek Iyah.
"I can't be granny, I'm very clear" I replied.
Nek Iyah passed leaving me and Bagas in the courtyard.
"Emang feelings you aja Di." muttered Bagas.
"My ears are still healthy Gas, I'm sure the same that I'm horrified." welcome me.
"Jaudah yuk is leaving. Matkul Pak Yono, lecturer killer. Yuk ah!" bring Bagas.
We walked out of the yard. But there was something strange about Nek Iyah's answer, like something was hidden. Or he knows something, but doesn't want to tell. And his guts are not unusual either.
I opened the gate and closed it again.
"In, the mother who has this house does not look like anymore, huh?" asked Bagas while pointing at the tiny house in front of the gate.
"Where do I know Gas. Why why?" my many.
"It's okay. My advice, you get him on. If it's delicious."
"What boy?" my many.
"Yee lo don't think macem-macem. Delicious means you can eat for free, you will be a student nomads. Got to find a lot of friends at." obviously.
"Yes, I'll meet you later." I replied.
"Eh, take me if you want to see me." Bagas.
"I know this, this is your reasoning. Tell me to decetin, so you can decetin too. Aye right? Why lo?"
"Hahahaha, is my mind clear? Haha." Bagas laughs.
"Lo know not Di, as soon as I continue to sleep again. When I slept, I dreamed the madam in that house. Hehehe."
Stalled steps.
"Ngapain stopped walking anyway? As I walk the story Di, it's late." Bagas patted my arm.
"Continue?" my many.
"Sure, his face is not very clear. But her smile is so sweet. In the dream he was sitting on the top floor of his house, his legs shaking. Do you know what a shake is?"
"The shakes are rocking right?" my answer.
"Yes, that's the point. He wears a really nice white shirt, like that silk material. He smiled at me, a smile like a shy Di. You know, right?" Bagas asked back.
"Yes I know." answered me who was a bit lazy to respond.
Along the way to campus, Bagas discussed his dream of meeting a tiny house in front of Kost Pak Thamrin. Even when he got to the front of the class, Bagas continued to talk about the mother.
He said he'd stay at my hostel again sometime. He also said he wanted to occasionally chat with the mother. At its peak, he was eager to invite the street mbak, even if only just eating.
Crazy jerk.
