Room No.11B

Room No.11B
Part. 5

The atmosphere at Kost Pak Thamrin tonight is very calm. The sound of crickets is mutually unpretentious, sounding shahdu. Occasionally the frog sounded, then replaced by the sound of branches rubbing against each other in the wind. Ah, I really like it like this. There was no sound of exhaust, vehicle horns, and deafening student jokes.

I sat in the front room, my door was wide open. Occasional wind gusts in, soothing. I play my favorite music playlist. I read sheet by sheet my favorite novel.

"Hahahaha." There was a woman laughing from the outside, I fell silent.

"Hehehehehe." sounded back. I turned off the music on my phone. I looked out of the room, looking to the left. Slender.

I continue reading the novel. Music is back.

"Maha." The laughter of women is back. This time closer. I went out of the room. From the garage I saw four female shadows. Halaah, so they laugh. I went back in too.

Four women passed in front of my room. Wearing light blue shirt and black trousers, uniform. One of them turned towards my room with a smile, I returned his smile. Apparently they're occupants of room 11d.

The clock on my phone shows at 21:05, I'm good to go to sleep. I have to go to college in the morning. After praying Isya and locking the door of the room, I lay my body on the bed. I also forgot to turn off the lights. I slept in the middle of my room.

Oee Oee Oee..

Whose baby's crying sounds are these nights? I woke up, I saw a clock on my phone, 03:02. Oh, my God, this baby's crying bothers me so much. Didn't his mother give him milk? Why is it so loud as this cry? I covered my ears with pillows, tried to go back to sleep.

The alarm on my phone rang loudly, 05:00. I got up and hurried to perform the dawn prayer. After the prayer, I remember last night. Ah, apparently the sound of baby crying that disrupted my sleep last night. May there be no more crying babies in the following nights, I hope.

At 07:10 I rushed to the campus. I met Nek Iyah in his yard, he was sweeping the leaves that were strewn under the mango tree.

"You want to go to college deck?" asked Nek Iyah to greet me.

"Yes nek." I answered briefly.

"Where, not here?"

"God willing to be at home. Just a semalem woke up because he heard a crying baby,"

"There's a neighbor who's exhausted, huh Grandma?" my many.

"Maybe yes. But obviously it was a crying baby voice." I said.

"Udah not to be thought of. Hopefully tomorrow there will be no crying anymore" said Nek Iyah.

"Eh? Meanin?" manya curious.

"Udah, don't be too thoughtful." replied Nek Iyah.

I did not understand what Nek Iyah said.

"If you'll excuse me to go to college first, Grandma. Assalamualaikum." I passed.

"Yes deck. The waalaikumsalam."

The air this morning feels fresh, the number of trees in this area makes cool. The chirping of birds sent the Sun emitting a golden radiance. I passed the little house in front of the hostel, I didn't see a cat. Ah, I didn't think.

My steps are light, as light as cotton candy. My passion is rising for college today. Am I too happy to live in my own room? Is this overkill? Well, staying at Kost Pak Thamrin brings positive energy for me, hopefully I feel at home living there.

Today's school went well. Thankfully, today's schedule is not until late afternoon. After Zuhur there are no courses. I better hurry home to the hostel.

"Di, to yuk's perpus!" Bagas.

"Perpus? Why Gas?" my many.

"Lho, we are a group of Sharia Economic Basics. Search for materials for presentations in," explained Bagas.

"Oh yes. We're just the two of us?"

"Three in fact, the same as Judah. But, Yuda said that he could join to make papers tomorrow,"

"Just now, we've been looking for materials in the pylons. Later Yuda let me just do the job." I suggested.

"Well, can you. Yuk pull!" bring Bagas.

We also headed to the library. Long enough me and Bagas looking for material for the presentation. Some books become references. Until 16:15, officials announced the library would be closing soon.
