Roses, Not Balsa

Roses, Not Balsa
Adi Treatment

◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇

Adi's face was so clear that he was very tired, his feet were stepping in very uninspired. Obviously, he worked all day and after the afternoon almost evening he just came home.

"Just come home, Mom," said Arsy. With such a friendly and sweet smile she welcomed her husband home from work, always she would welcome him in such a way because she did have to.

Must obey, must keep trying to be a good wife even with all that her husband has done to her. At least Adi never play hands even though sometimes his voice is always ugly.

Like whatever he is a husband to be respected and also the father of his child, so he must remain obedient and respectful right?

"Hem," Adi replied so indifferently. His feet continued to move faster as if avoiding Arsy who had already welcomed him.

"You want to drink Mas?" ask Arsy to offer. She continued to chase after her husband who finally stopped and sat on the wooden chair of the living room.

"Can" he answered. Still indifferently and sounding increasingly haughty.

Arsy quickly ran into the kitchen to get a drink for her husband who had just come home from work. Whatever her husband does, whatever it is, Arsy always tries to be sincere, making what he does is a form of devotion to her husband and will get a reward in return.

If her own husband does not appreciate and does not give what should include his living Arsy strongly believes he will get it from his Lord.

Arsy came back out, he was a little rushed because he knew that her husband must be very thirsty. But when Arsy just arrived, it turns out there was already a mother-in-law who came.

"Adi, I really want to eat goat gulai from Mantep sir. Buy Mom yes," said Ms. Lusi. Seems so begging to Adi.

"Are you sure Arsy's not cooking, ma'am?" ask Adi. He immediately turned to Arsy who was already next to him while giving tea for him.

"Cooking, but you know, I don't like the food, it's not good. The food is also just village cuisine. What is it, only kale. Cook every day mother only in love to eat kale with salted fish, mother goat what."

His words were so quiet, so thin with eyes glancing cynically at Arsy who was just silent.

There will be no end if serving the words of his in-laws, anyways Arsy also never dare because he still respects him. To him, in-laws were just like his biological parents who both had to be respected so he would just be quiet, but somehow he would continue to be silent.

Should be able to be grateful, she can still eat even if only potluck, that too for free right? Arsy never bought a kale or other vegetable because he planted it himself, but for the side dish, he could not buy as long as there was no harvest.

"Alright, later Adi buyin gulai his goat for mother" said Adi who managed to make Bu Lusi smile happily.

Pufftts!

"Why didn't you tell me the tea was hot!" just one drink Adi was directly sprayed again, he was hot because of the tea that had just been made.

He himself was in a hurry and did not try or blow it but he instead blamed Arsy, his eyes were even so red glared at his wife.

"I'm sorry, ma'am." replied Arsy, it's always going to be wrong. In the eyes of her husband or her father-in-law Arsy will always be wrong in any case.

"Drink by yourself!" said it. Put the glass very rough until it spills and almost hit Arsy's feet.

Quickly and very angrily Adi got up from the seat, he entered the room with a little slamming the door to make Arsy jerk.

"God!" Ms. Lusi did not comment much, but she was cynical about Arsy and it was more painful.

Arsy must be extra patient in his life, although it feels very heavy and so difficult, but always he managed to get through it.

The inner pressure had become a daily food he had already been very memorized and also accustomed to. Although sometimes very painful and want to give up but he always reassured himself that nothing is eternal.

Now he can always be insulted, scorned and also compared to others. But, the wheel will always spin and there are times when he will be on top.

The smile was so bright from Bu Lusi when given a package of white crackle by Adi. He was very sure, it was his order this afternoon.

"Yes, Mom. How, mom happy?" adi asked, she joined in sitting at the dinner table and observed her mother who was not only happy, but very happy.

"Father love dong, Mom." Mr. Darma looks so wanted too, who will not be cool with good food, only one who does not like that is Arsy. He's not as processed as anything if it's mutton.

"Come, Adi happened to buy a lot of kok, sir." she replied.

"Then for your wife and your son what did we buy, Di?" ask Mr. Darma, looking at Arsy and Laili his son who continues to be silent.

"They can eat with the salted fish, sir. They're redundant if they're not eating, right?"

"Yes, too" said Mr. Darma.

Arsy's heart was so raging, wanted to get angry but not to, wanted to cry but could no longer. He did not want to be considered weak and nothing could only cry.

Arsy could only hold everything in his heart, screaming his heart with pain that only he could endure on his own.

Arsy turned to Laili who was silent, he looked very wanted but he was also not very fond of mutton. He could eat but his grandmother wouldn't let that happen.

"No need to look around, little children should not eat mutton. Later the stomach will be hot." said Ms. Lusi.

Laili instantly lowered her head, her eyes reddening withstanding the cries.

Arsy's heart heats up, it doesn't matter if he is treated like that, but if Laili? Laili is their granddaughter, son of Adi. Let alone his grandmother and grandfather, his own father he was so heartless to him.

Arsy looked over, looking at his son who wanted to cry. He shook his head slowly, not allowing Laili to cry. Arsy wants Laili to be a strong boy, a strong woman just like him.

"Of course, not much drama. Now eat." said Adi who knows what his son and wife are doing.

The drama?

Why is it all considered a drama for him, can he not see the wishes of his son and wife, can he not see?

"This is all, you eat the same broth." said Bu Lusi. Pour the sauce in Laili's plate, preventing it with a spoon so that none of the meat falls.

Miris, that's what Arsy feels.

"No need, Mom. If the meat alone should not be, the sauce is also not necessary, has not the sauce also been exposed to the flesh?" Arsy spoke up.

"Ish, you're this. You don't like your kid eating good?" yells. His eyes were round because Arsy answered.

"It's not like that, Mom."

"It's silent, we want to eat or we want to argue!" Adi's voice was so loud.

Arsy turned his head towards Laili, he was silent with fear now.

"Mother, Laili doesn't want to eat" he said. The five-year-old is losing his appetite now. Even Arsy seems to be.

"Well, are we sleeping?" asked Arsy and Laili nodded.

'Forgive me, son. Tomorrow if mother has sustenance we buy good food. We buy chicken for our side dishes.' Inner Arsy grieves.
