Roses, Not Balsa
Adi's Regret

◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇

It was a happy feeling Laili had when Frans came to see her. Especially after knowing that today is Laili's return day she is so happy because Frans will take her home.

Actually Frans had to work tomorrow but because he was so worried about the state of Laili he immediately went home after work, he could leave tomorrow morning to work.

"Om, thank you for the gift" said Laili girang.

A child who never gets a toy at all, of course he will feel very happy when getting it even from others. Not an expensive or large toy, just a Barbie doll but able to make Laili continue to smile while playing the doll.

"He'em, does Laili like it?" ask Frans.

Laili nodded quickly, she was so happy to get the gift from Frans. Not only because of getting a gift that makes Laili so happy, but also Frans' sincere attention to him.

"Mas, thank you for making Laili happy" Arsy said.

Frans turned his head, looking at Arsy who had just finished cleaning up after being allowed to go home.

"Together." Frans turned back to look at Laili. The little boy looked so happy and kept smiling while he was busy with his new toy.

How happy Frans saw the happiness of Laili. Although only simple toys are also cheap but able to bring a smile that is endless. His face kept shining brightly.

"Mas, thank you for paying Laili's fee. I promise to give it back." said Arsy again.

Yep! At a time when a mother was confused by the cost of Frans hospital came and helped solve everything. Though previously Arsy who is so confused will ask Adi for help. He knows, he'll get the insults from the family, but for Laili's sake he will.

But, it turns out that God loves him so much. Send Frans to solve all his problems. He did not have to hear all the words of Adi and his entire family. And of course, it is now increasing again with Adi's wife.

"Not to think about it. We can return it at any time. But if not, I'm sincere." replied Frans. Actually he sincerely helped, he did not want to be replaced but Arsy did not want to accept his help if Frans refused to be returned.

"No, Mas. Arsy will keep trying to return it." replied Arsy. Even though it's not until when he will be able to return it, but he will still try.

"alright. It's up to you." Frans is so resigned. The most important thing is that Laili can go home and also be healthy again as usual.

"We're going home now?" ask Frans.

"He'em." Laili nodded. He quickly put all his toys back in his container. After he finished he rushed to his feet and it turned out Frans immediately sprightly and helped him.

"Thank you, Om." he said.

"Together, dear Laili." Answer Frans. He instantly lifted Laili's small body and carried her.

Frans continued to walk by holding Laili, making Arsy speechless and walking behind her. Should Arsy be happy to see the closeness of Laili and Frans?

Like a father, Frans was so painstaking he loved Laili like a father who loved his son's pepper. His affection was so sincere, it was very clear from his face and also how Laili was so calm in his arms.

Otherwise, there was no way Laili would be so comfortable when with him.

"Ye, Laili foam home!" Laili was so excited. His hands were waving when he was in Frans's bough. Frans laughed making Arsy smile too.

So hot Adi heart when he saw Arsy and Laili who got down from Frans' car in front of Bu Tantri's house. It felt like getting angry, evident from the clenched hand then hitting the tree in front of which he made to hide.

"It turns out this is what you mean? You're so smart, Arsy. You deliberately did whatever made me hate you and divorced you, and after that you approached a man richer than me." murmured Adi with a heinous charge on Arsy.

There is no way Adi will admit his own mistakes, he will certainly look for Arsy's mistakes. He feels right.

"It's disgusting" he said again.

Adi made all the mistakes but he bestowed on Arsy because Arsy got a better replacement for himself. Maybe if the person who approached Arsy under him he would insult blatantly, but in fact? He did not dare to come closer either.

"Suck!" yells. But no one heard everything he said. His hand hit the innocent tree again. Although his own hands were aching but he still did not feel satisfied.

"Assalamu'alaikum!" shout Laili. So loud is his voice.

"Wa'alaikumsalam!" Mr. Nirwan also Ms. Tantri replied simultaneously. Those who were behind were instantly moved towards him with such a happy smile.

"Thank God, my grandson is back. Hem, even though the new grandfather is preparing to pick him up." said Mr. Nirwan.

"Hehehe, grandfather at last." he said. All laughed at Laili's words as well as her face that looked so adorable.

"How do we get the fried chicken?" As promised, Mr. Nirwan will not forget.

"Hem, tomorrow only, Cake. Look, Sam's been buying fried chicken for Laili" he said. The rise of white crackle containing fried chicken that Frans bought earlier on the road.

"Well, have you said thanks not yet Sam?" ask Mr. Nirwan.

"Already dong, Cake. Isn't that Om?" answer Laili. He immediately turned his head towards Frans who also nodded confirming.

"Alhamdulillah" replied Mr. Nirwan.

'Allah, Frans' concern for Laili. She looks so dear, she's fighting to go home just for Laili's sake. May Allah grant them a beautiful destiny.' Inner Miss Tantri.

Ms. Tantri went straight to Arsy, helping with the things she was carrying.

"Thank you, Budhe." said Arsy.

"Together" he answered. He helped even if it was just that.

While Frans and Pak Nirwan were already sitting in a chair, mediating Laili who was already impatient to eat his fried chicken.

"Do you want to eat now?" ask Frans.

"Yes, it looks so good." Laili's lips were already raging to see the fried chicken Frans helped open it. His hand was already so impatient to want to immediately pick it up with unblinking eyes.

"Mother, ask for rice." Her request.

"Behold, I'll take it first." replied Arsy softly.

Arsy and Bu Tantri entered, not only put all the items but also took rice and drink to Frans.

"Son, son Frans is very good, yes" said Ms. Tantri.

"Yes, Budhe. He's very nice." Answer Arsy. Although there was no taste in his heart but he realized that Frans was very good. He was so considerate of Laili that was so dear.

Arsy turned to look at Bu Tantri and saw that her gaze was so strange to him that he was so confused, what is it?

"Budhe, what's wrong?" tanyakanya. His hands stopped moving to make him drink.

"It's okay. Are you happy?"

"Very. Arsy is so happy that Laili is finally cured and can go home." Though happy in the intention of Miss Tantri is because of other things, but Arsy captures other things as well.

Ms. Tantri smiled, she did not want to clarify What she meant exactly. Arsy must not be ready to talk about it because for him the most important thing is the happiness of his son for now. Not thinking of finding a new replacement companion from Adi.

"Alhamdulillah." Mrs Tantri smiled. Arsy is the same.

Both of them came out, Arsy carrying a tray containing several cups on it while Bu Tantri brought a plate containing rice for Laili.
