"Thanks!" Shouted Adi so loudly that it filled the entire house. Of course it will surprise Arsy who was drying his clothes behind the house.
Arsy immediately ran to approach her husband who was screaming calling, I don't know what she wanted until she screamed like that and surely the neighbors will hear it too.
"Astaghfirullah, what the hell is Mas?" Ask Arsy when he arrived before Adi who looked so furious with a sharp gaze towards Arsy.
'What's up again?' arsy is confused.
It seemed that she did not cause any trouble at all to her husband, then what was the reason she was so angry.
Brak!
"Sign the letter!" Adi's command by affirming to Arsy, while slamming files on the table so violently made Arsy so surprised.
"I_ what's this, Mas?" ask Arsy confused. Slowly his hand took the file and looked at it with a hand that had begun to tremble.
"That's our divorce papers" Adi replied.
Arsy's heart stopped beating right then and there after hearing the fact that her husband was going to divorce her. Is there really no chance to improve their relationship? Is it true that their relationship that he had lived through all these years would only end in divorce?
"Ma_mas, this isn't true, is it?" his words trembled as well stammered. So powerless to accept such a bitter reality.
Enduring bitterly, parting is the same. That's what Arsy is going through now.
"That's real, listen carefully to what I'm about to say, Arsy. From this very moment I looked at you and from now on we have no relationship anymore, I am not your husband and you are not my wife. You I'm divorced!"
Arsy's body was limp along with tears that continued to flow so fast that it soaked both cheeks. Does she have to be happy because she is finally free from an unhealthy relationship and like hell, or does she have to be sad because she lost her status as a wife?
"Mas, ka_you're kidding, right?" ask Arsy. She hopes there will be other ways besides getting divorced.
Just last night Arsy prayed for the best destiny for his life and now that fate says something else that is clearly not what he asked for, is this really the best destiny for him and Laili?
"Do I look like I'm joking? I am seriously divorcing you. Because what? I will soon marry the woman I have truly loved and who is better than you" Adi said.
Not yet their divorce is legal in the country but Adi has talked about marriage with other women, it feels really heartbreaking for an Arsy.
"And yes! You can't demand anything from me because I'll never give you a penny. And yes! I also don't want to take care of your son, so it's better that he come with you because it'll only be a burden to me."
Indeed there is no good intention in Adi, he was never responsible to Arsy or to Laili's own flesh and blood.
"Good! If Mas really wants to be like that then just end it as soon as possible, I'm sick of being here with all the treatment you and your family have. And yes! I need my son more than your possessions."
"And thank you for giving Laili to me. I can only pray, hopefully someday I will regret."
Feels claustrophobic when saying but still everything comes out very neatly, accompanied by a huge disappointment.
Arsy is crying, because it is certainly not easy to let go of a relationship that has been woven for years. And now it only ends in divorce because Adi prefers other women who are considered better than him.
"Hem, you'll be the one who'll regret it after separating from me. Since you have nothing even you don't have something you can be proud of."
Without hesitation, Arsy immediately grabbed the file on the table and immediately signed it, after completion and then threw the paper and pen to Adi until it hit his face.
"I hope you can finish quickly. Because I don't want to be your wife anymore!!" Arsy said so firmly.
Adi's hands clenched so perfectly with a sharp eye toward Arsy who had already sailed into the room.
"Done all your stuff, and get out of this house!" Shouted Adi but Arsy did not say anything.
Without being asked, Arsy will do what Adi asked just now. He immediately picked up a suitcase and a backpack and put all his belongings into Laili's possession.
It was as if there was strength coming in his heart, although it was painful yet he was so excited about putting all the items into the bag as well which he would carry.
"Mom, why do mom and dad fight?" A voice so bitterly sounded in Arsy's ears, he immediately turned his head and found Laili who walked in so slowly with tears as well as a frightened face.
Arsene knew this would happen. Laili will definitely be sad and also very scared, but maybe this is the best for both of them.
Arsy approached, wiping his own tears dry. Kneel in front of her child and touch both her arms gently.
"I'm sorry, honey. Mom and Dad are okay, but from now on we can't stay here anymore. We have to go."
"Serus father?" tanyakanya.
Arsy shakes. "Dad won't come, just the two of us. Laili want to come with me?" ask Arsy.
"Yes, Laili wants to come with me." Laili nodded steadily making Arsy smile and also directly hugged her. Back the tears were freefall because Arsy was so confused where he was going?
"Mother don't cry" said the little one, releasing Arsy's embrace and wiping away her tears with her tiny hands.
"No" answered Arsy. Arsy shook his head and wiped his tears.
"We're getting ready now?"
"Yes, Laili help you, Mom." Answer Laili.
Although there was a tinge of sadness on Laili's face but it was only for a moment and immediately disappeared when they started to put all their belongings into the bag as well as the suitcase.
'Oh my God, where should I go?' inner Arsy.
"Mom, this is also a carry, right?" laili asked, showing a white crackle containing a cloth that her plan wanted Arsy to make family clothes. But it turns out all that is only a plan because it will never materialize.
"Yes, we'll take it." Answer Arsy. At least he can still make it even if only for the two of them, without Adi.
Laili was so enthusiastic about carrying the crackle and put it in a suitcase, while Arsy still continued to see the movement of the little one who looks adorable and makes him pull the tip of the lips to smile. At least there is Laili who will always be a medicine for him and be an encouragement.
'Thank you, God, for giving me such an adorable little angel. Alhamdulillah.' Inner Arsy.
