CHAPTER 3

At night, Rama returned home from work, he saw his wife folding clothes and did not look at him when Rama entered their room.

"Yesha, where's my dressing room?" Rama asked Ayesha.

Without saying much, Ayesha immediately took Rama's change of clothes and gave it to her husband.

Rama stared fixedly at Ayesha who had just looked down, then Rama pulled Ayesha's arm who wanted to step away. Ayesha was still looking down, Rama was getting fixed on her and one hand of Rama stretched out to lift Ayesha's chin.

Rama scrunched his forehead when he saw Ayesha's face, eyes moist with a forehead that had bruised wounds as well as the corners of the injured lips and cheeks that were still red.

"Who did it?" Ask Rama with anger.

Ayesha, however, remained silent and did not answer.

"Tell me who did this to you?"

Ayesha looked into Rama's eyes, "What do you care?" Ask fiercely. "You left me alone in the condition of your family who were angry with me." Ayesha said with red eyes holding back her tears.

"Yesha, I'm sorry." Lirih Rama's.

Yesha let go of Rama's hand and slowly moved away to where she had folded her clothes. He chose to be quiet and not talk.

Rama walked closer towards Ayesha, "Yesha..."

"Go, Mas. Let me alone." Said Ayesha holding back the rumble in her chest."

But instead of leaving but Rama pulled Ayesha's hand and out of his room, he approached his Mother and Brother who were watching television together.

"Who did this to Ayesha?" Rama asked with a snapping tone.

Ratna who did not accept it immediately stood up from her seat as she turned her waist, while Mira stood behind Ratna while folding both her hands in front of her chest.

"What the hell are you Ram?" Ask Ratna.

"Who beat my wife, ma'am?" Rama asked angrily.

"Your wife is smart to complain now? Five years married instead of immediately giving birth to a child for you even smarter to complain apparently."

"Stop it, Mom." Sentak Rama's.

"Rama, how dare you yell at me just because of this poor woman." Mira defended her mother.

Rama rubbed his face rough, he always lost when faced with the mother. But Rama no longer wanted his Mother and Brother to torture Ayesha, so Rama had to act hard.

"If Mom and Mommy Mira continue to hurt Ayesha, I will bring Ayesha to move out of here and I will no longer finance the needs of this house." Threaten Rama firmly.

"Where can it be like that, Rama. This mother is your responsibility as a boy." Ratna said not to accept.

Rama nodded, "Then be kind to Ayesha." Rama looked towards Mira. "And Mira's mother, Mira's mother is here just hitchhiking because I pay for all the needs of this house including the food that Mira's mother and her husband and Mira's children eat, Mama Mira's children eat, so Ma'am Mira do not behave as casually as Ayesha, Ayesha there is no obligation to wash clothes Mbak and Mbak family, if Mbak does not accept please Mbak out of this house." Rama again.

"I don't care about that, Mom. I don't like Ayesha washing Mira's shirt and her family's, if Mira still tells Ayesha like that, I'm going to get Mira out of this house or me and Ayesha out of this house and no longer finance this house." Press Rama then Rama pulls Ayesha's arm back to his room.

Rama places Ayesha on the edge of the bed and then picks up the medicine box. He applied an ointment for bruises on Ayesha's forehead and cuts on the corners of Ayesha's lips.

"I'm sorry I haven't been able to make you happy, Yesha." Lirih Rama's.

Ayesha was silent, she was too tired to respond to Rama's apology, Ayesha's request was only one, she wanted to get out of her in-laws' house and live without pressure from her in-laws, but Rama was too cowardly to do so on the grounds that he did not want to leave his late father's house.

Time passed, Mira no longer dared to tell Ayesha like that, but Yesha still washed her clothes and took care of all her needs.

This morning Ayesha will be preparing to go to the market because she will buy vegetables that have run out, suddenly she feels nauseous and dizzy. But since no one noticed her, Ayesha still left for the market.

"Ayesha, Rama gave you more money huh?" Ratna asked fiercely.

Ayesha silence does not reply, Rama did give Ayesha more money to buy her personal needs.

"Where the money is, I need to pay my debt, then there will be debt collectors and I do not hold the money." Ratna said as she raised her hand.

"Nothing, Mom. It's just money for shopping." Ayesha held her wallet.

"Don't lie to you." Ratna forcibly pulls Ayesha's wallet. He saw more money than usual and Ratna took it.

"Don't take it, Mom."

"Shut up." Ratna pushes Ayesha's body until Ayesha sits on the sofa.

Ratna threw back Ayesha's wallet after she felt the money was just enough to buy kitchens in the market.

"Mom please give it back." Ayesha said.

"Shut up!!" Ratna Sentak. "You have no right to hold anything else using my son's money. I raised him, I sent him to this end, you casually entered into the life of Rama and made Rama give it all to you." Ratna said in a fiery fire.

Ayesha just rubbed her chest hearing every painful sentence from her in-laws mouth. Trudged, Ayesha stood up and picked up her wallet on the floor and went to the market using her subscription ojeg.

"Mertua Mbak Ayesha is fierce." Egi tries to lure Ayesha into telling her honest things about her husband's family.

Ayesha just smiled and did not answer. After all, according to Ayesha, it is no secret if her father-in-law is notoriously fierce and has debts where. That is why Rama can not leave the house of his parents, Rama just want to monitor his mother who likes to owe or even hope to stop him. But in fact, Ayesha lives with her mother to make Ayesha's life like hell and cause new problems in their household.

Ayesha did not say anything to Egi, for him Egi is only a stranger who is now his friend, but that does not mean by being a friend makes Ayesha can be open even if only the problem though. Ayesha still upholds the honor of her husband's family.

Is that stupid Ayesha? Yes, Ayesha was indeed a fool for surviving so far with the Rama family.
