CHAPTER 38

(Andrew, read Endru)

"So how?" Ask Andrew and finally Kevin ventured to answer Andrew's curiosity.

"Ndru, trust me and give me a little more time." Kevin said with a serious look.

Andrew understood, he could not force someone to immediately find out the content of his feelings.

Andrew escorted Kevin to the receptionist to give him an id card as an exclusive guest without having to make an appointment to meet with the top leadership in the company including with Ayesha.

"Well, Ayesha is on the twentieth floor, and there will be someone who will take you to Ayesha's room." Andrew said he was trying to allow Kevin to meet with Ayesha.

"Thank you Ndru, thank you for your trust." Reply Kevin then immediately left Andrew to go up to the top of Ayesha's room.

Ayesha's personal assistant escorts Kevin into Ayesha's room, and Ayesah feels quite surprised to see Kevin's arrival in her office.

"Kev, are you here?" Ayesha asked who stood up from her seat and walked over to Kevin.

"I.. I'd like to take you to lunch, Ay."

"Lunch?" Ayesha asked in disbelief as she looked at the clock on her wrist. "It's past lunchtime."

"The journey from my office to your office took forty minutes, my lunch time was up on the road."

Ayesha stared in surprise at Kevin, not knowing what was in Kevin's mind until Kevin came to work just to take him to lunch.

"All right, let's have lunch." Ayesha answered that made Kevin slightly smile and it was seen once in Ayesha's eyes.

Ayesha takes her bag and follows Kevin. Although Ayesha herself had eaten but Ayesha did not want to disappoint Kevin who had come from far away.

Kevin invites Ayesha to lunch at a nearby cafe. Ayesha only ordered salad and fruit juice because she had already had lunch before. While Kevin ordered heavy food because he was hungry and had not eaten since morning.

"I'm planning to move my main office downtown." Kevin said in between his meals.

"Why in the office now?"

"Too far from you."

"From?"

Kevin looked nervous and then said, "I mean too far from my relationship in the city center, I spend time on the road if I meet my relationship. And also Mama always asked me to come back home."

Ayesha nodded, "You three, you are the one born between Kenzo and Keysha, you should be living with your parents."

Kevin nodded. "Yes, it looks like it has to be that way."

"On the other hand so that you are close to your future fiancee as well." Ayesha said casually.

Uhukk.. Uhukks.

Kevin chokes on his own food and Ayesha immediately gives him mineral water.

"Slow down, Kev." Said Ayesha of concern.

"Can't be with me, don't talk about anything else."

"Why indeed?" Tanya Ayesha wants to know.

But Ayesha's question made Kevin angry. "Find it out." Kevin said he was upset.

Ayesha just kept quiet and did not respond to him. Ayesha just does not want to be the third person in the relationship of Kevin and Lady, Ayesha also does not want to be too high expectations because for Ayesha, she is not, Kevin and himself are like the sky and the Earth that cannot be together.

Finish that lunch. Kevin returns to take Ayesha to his office. But before descending, Ayesha ventured to speak something.

"Yes?"

"Don't see me again."

Kevin scrunched his forehead. "What do you mean?"

"Please, Kev. Don't see me again if not as a friend." Pinta Ayesha is really. "I don't want your future fiance to think that's not with us. I'm a woman, I also know what it's like to be betrayed, don't make me the third person in your relationship." Ayesha said and smiled. "So from now on, don't see me again huh."

Kevin was silent. "But why is Kenzo free to meet you, Ay?"

"That's because Kenzo and I are best friends, Kev. We have no memories of feelings, different from ours. I'm just limiting myself."

"That's a sign you love me?"

"Love or not doesn't matter, because I've decided to never have another relationship with any man except as a friend. I also don't want to be involved in the relationship of two people who are already entwined."

"I told you, my relationship with her is only a matchmaking affair." Strictly Kevin.

"It's none of my business, Kev." Reply Ayesha quickly. "I'm just asking you not to involve me in your dealings with him. Let's just be friends, even if you're single, I stick to my point, don't want to be in a relationship with any guy."

Kevin just kept quiet, trying to digest everything Ayesha had revealed.

"Thank you for lunch." Ayesha and Ayesha try to get out of Kevin's car.

"What is that wound? Can't I treat it?" Ask Kevin ambiguously.

Ayesha did not answer and stayed down from Kevin's car and rushed into his company.

Kevin was still silent to see Ayesha's back getting further and further away and disappeared from Kevin's sight. "Well, how deep is that wound?" Ask Kevin again in his heart.

Kevin decided to go to the mother's house, he would come to visit his parents even though the father was certainly not there because he was still working.

"Kev..." Call Audrey when she sees her son arriving at her house.

Kevin hugged Audrey, "How are you, Ma?"

"Good mom." Audrey answered while breaking her embrace. "Tumben's here."

Kevin smiled and grabbed Audrey's shoulders as he walked towards the sofa on the back porch of his house. "Kev kangen Mama."

Audrey smiles at that, indeed among her three twins, Kevin is the sweetest, but Kevin's attitude turns cold when his love claps one hand and in about many people. But now Audrey is like finding her sweet son back.

They sat together on the sofa while enjoying the view of the garden neatly maintained by Audrey. Audrey asks Kevin a lot of things, from work, shelter and food problems that Kevin eats.

"Ma, can my engagement to the Lady be annulled?" Kevin asked which immediately made Audrey look at his face with a questionable look.

"Married it once in a lifetime, Ma. Kevin doesn't want to hurt Kevin himself or Lady's heart. Kevin can't love her, Kevin doesn't want to be in distant contact with her, Ma. Can this relationship just be stopped?" Pinta Kevin really.

"Kev, Mama's just afraid you're still waiting for your feelings for Lova and disturbing the Lova household with her husband."

"Kev's not that reckless, Ma. Kev promises not to be that bad. Mama trust Kev."

"In what way should you believe?" Ask Audrey.

Kevin was silent, he wanted to say if he had a woman he wanted to pursue. But Kevin has not been able to confirm it because of Ayesha's Widow status, does the Mother want to accept Ayesha status?
