CHAPTER 58

"Papaa." Cheryl exclaimed when she saw Kenzo's arrival in her apartment.

Kenzo catches Cheryl's tiny body and lifts it up. "Papa's son smells so good." He said while kissing Cheryl's cheek.

"I've been waiting for Papa dali. Old Papa Koq?"

"Sorry, Honey. Papa was on business first and stopped by the toy store to buy this." Kenzo raises his hand and shows a paper bag containing food and toys.

"Toys." Cheryl cried while holding both cheeks.

Kenzo drops Cheryl on the sofa and opens a paper bag with educational toys for Cheryl.

"This is how it plays, Pah.." Ask Cheryl.

Kenzo patiently helps Cheryl pair her toys to the shape of a barbie house.

"Cheryl's eating?" Ask Kenzo.

Cheryl shook her head. "I'm waiting for Papa."

Kenzo smiled then stood up to head for the kitchen, and it was spotted by Amanda.

"Here Ken, let me."

Kenzo smiled, "Thank you."

"From there Cheryl is waiting for you. Sorry yes." Amanda said she felt bad.

"It's okay, I'm happy that someone's waiting for me to come." Reply Kenzo.

"We're going?" Ask Amanda.

"So, let Cheryl eat first and then we'll go. You eat too." Kenzo said attentively.

After eating, Kenzo takes Amanda and Cheryl somewhere. That's the apartment he'll buy from Kevin.

"What are we doing here?" Ask Amanda. "Aren't we going to the foundation to see Cheryl's nanny?"

"We're here first, the foundation's business is all done. Tomorrow there's a babysitter for Cheryl." Answer Kenzo.

They get out of the car, Kenzo slalu holding Cheryl and Cheryl was slalu attached to Kenzo.

"Come in." Kenzo said to Amanda.

"Waahh, Papa's house is very big." Cheryl.

"You likey?" Kenzo and Cheryl asked.

"You live here?" Ask Amanda.

Kenzo shook his head, "I just bought this apartment, for Cheryl."

Amanda scrunched her forehead. "What do you mean?" Ask wonder.

Kenzo sat Cheryl on the sofa, and knelt with one leg in front of Chery. "Cheryl watch television first, Papa wants to talk to Mama first." Speak softly Kenzo while turning on the wide-sailing television.

After that Kenzo invited Amanda to chat at the dinner table so as not to be heard by Cheryl.

"Amanda, I'm sorry if I didn't ask you about this first. But honestly I did this for you and Cheryl. Your apartment's pretty far and you can't use a vehicle."

Amanda just kept quiet because she was quite surprised by what Kenzo did.

"Sorry, Amanda. I just want to help you." Ogre Kenzo. "Trust me as a friend, this apartment is next door to doctor gerald's hospital, you're just walking around and it saves you time too."

"You yes." Kenzo Pinta.

"Why are you doing this to us, Ken. I don't want to just 'cause Cheryl made you feel sorry for us, you got a family too, and how'd your family look at us, Ken?"

"Amanda." Kenzo calls Amanda by looking into Amanda's eyes. "Believe me, yeah. I just want you to trust me."

Amanda wanted to ask Kenzo why he could do this to her so much, but Amanda just kept quiet.

"Why should I repay you?" Ask Amanda at the end.

Kenzo shuts up and tries to dive into his own feelings. Then he looked at Cheryl who was watching television and then looked back at Amanda.

"So my friend, trust me and trust me enough." Kenzo said really.

Amanda nodded. "Thank you."

Kenzo was relieved that Amanda finally accepted what Kenzo had given her.

"What about my stuff?" Ask Amanda.

"Need your stuff will take it away. All I've arranged, there's no need to go back there." Answer Kenzo.

Kenzo takes Amanda around her apartment. "There are three rooms here. This is my room if I stay here, this is your room, and this is Cheryl's room."

"We sleep in one room, Ken. Cheryl's not used to sleeping in her own room."

Kenzo nodded. "Yes." kept Kenzo pointing at the end of the hallway. "There's room for Cheryl's nanny later."

"His caregiver's staying over?" Ask Amanda.

Kenzo nodded, "And on Saturday, he'll be home and back Monday morning."

Finally, after giving Amanda a lot of understanding, Amanda was willing to accept all Kenzo's help. Amanda believes that later it will certainly look there is a purpose behind Kenzo's kindness.

Kenzo accompanies Cheryl to play in her new apartment. Chery already looks very familiar even though they have only known for a few days. Kenzo was constantly staring at Cheryl's face, which was none other than his own daughter. It felt like Kenzo really wanted to hug and kiss Cheryl's entire face and say if he was Papa Cheryl's birth. However, Kenzo still has to resist because Kenzo is afraid Amanda is angry and drives him away.

"Why not go home?" Ask Cheryl to Kenzo.

That was what Amanda was waiting for, Amanda wanted to ask that but felt bad considering this apartment was owned by Kenzo even though Kenzo had said to give it to Cheryl.

"Papa wants to accompany Cheryl to sleep first, and Papa will come home."

"Well, yeah, Pa?"

"Of course." Reply Kenzo.

Kenzo helps Cheryl brush her teeth, and Amanda helps Cheryl replace her nightgown.

"Come, Pa.." Take Cheryl who has prepared in her sleep costume, pajamas hello kitty and hold her favorite hello kitty doll.

Kenzo takes Cheryl up to bed to pick up a storybook and read it. Meanwhile, Amanda is busy cleaning up her things that have been brought by Kenzo people to her new apartment. It didn't feel like the clock was 11pm and Amanda realized that Kenzo was still in the room with Cheryl.

Amanda catches up with Kenzo to the room and sees the view so moving. Cheryl sleeps with Kenzo and the storybook on Kenzo's chest. Amanda approached the bed and saw clearly Kenzo's handsome face, which Amanda thought was charismatic. Even Kenzo's mature demeanor is able to make him look like a real father to Cheryl. Yes, Kenzo really looks like a father to Cheryl.

Amanda immediately shook her head, throwing away the wishful thinking that was somehow on her mind. Amanda didn't wake Kenzo, let Kenzo sleep with Cheryl tonight. Amanda raises a blanket to cover Cheryl's body and Kenzo, then turns off the bright lights that change with dim lights. Afterwards Amanda came out of the room and went into the other room to sleep there. Amanda tried to close her eyes, for some reason as fierce as the events of that night just passed by, she said, but Amanda could not remember his face because at that time Amanda's consciousness was not fully aware and was under the influence of alcohol and drugs bia*dap it.
