A slap Merry managed to land on her ex-husband's cheek again, then she immediately moved as the man's embrace began to loosen.
"Don't you dare touch me, Mr. William." Firmly Merry, she is not a cheap woman who is free the man is just harassed.
Again William again felt the heat on his cheek after getting a second slap from the woman.
"Say is he my son ?" william repeated while showing back some photos of Ariel on his phone.
"No, he's not your son." Merry's lie, it's better that William doesn't know the truth.
He did not want the man to take his son from him, however, their circumstances had changed by having a partner each.
"Well if you don't want to confess, it doesn't matter. There are still many ways to find out" William said, staring at the woman who was now stepping away from him.
Merry who was tidying up her clothes immediately shook her head quickly. "I told you he's not your son." he said later.
"If not, does that mean you were cheating on me ?" william's lips that certainly make Merry not accept.
"I've never had an affair with any man, it's you who's always been in contact with a lot of women." Merry recalls.
She was a most loyal wife even when the man tortured her even though he sincerely forgave her.
William seemed to laugh, in other words the woman had admitted that the little boy she had met at one of the Mall a few days ago was her son.
He felt as if he was looking at himself when he saw the boy.
"All right, I'm more convinced that the child is my flesh and blood." William said later.
"I said no, no, he's Alex's older brother. Didn't I send you my wedding photos back then." Merry said.
He recalled two years ago having sent some pictures of him along with Alex that he admitted if they had been married when in fact it was the marriage of his brother to his wife.
Merry deliberately did the lie to see how her husband reacted, but after a long time the man just appeared now.
Hearing his wife's words William seemed surprised, but he understood because everything was wrong.
But the man had many ways for the woman to confess that Ariel was his flesh and blood.
"really? well, it looks like I need to contact Celine, your sister-in-law, to find out the truth." William seems to have taken his phone.
"Sister Celine? you know him ?" Merry glared straight at.
"Of course, he's a brand ambassador at my company right now." said William while pretending to look for Celine's contacts, although he didn't keep them because all his business relationships were always with James.
"Stupid, why would sister Celine want to work with this man anyway." muttered Merry, then he immediately snatched William's phone.
"It's free for you to call Celine because she never knew me and Alex's brother were married" Merry said.
"really? so if she finds out about your marriage is she gonna be okay later ?" timpal William while raising one eyebrow and of course it makes Merry immediately swallow his saliva, why suddenly his brain became blunt like this anyway.
"Bu-not that." Merry started to grumble.
"Our relationship has been over since you dumped me, Mr. William, so please let me go right now" he added, switching the conversation,
"I never dumped you" William said no less emphatically.
"But in fact you left me at that time, you were like a cowardly man who couldn't face my father." Merry finally revealed his heart.
"I'm sorry, I can explain everything" William said, rising from his seat, claiming he was wrong to have believed the photo was not necessarily the truth.
"I've forgiven you but our relationship has ended a long time ago, so there's nothing else you have to explain" Merry said, maybe his decision was right because he didn't want to be disappointed a second time.
"Why? is it because you love that guy ?" William stared at his ex-wife.
"If I don't love him for what I'm engaged to him." said Merry who immediately made William look furious.
"Well, now open the door because I have to go back." Merry ordered later, almost two hours he left the party and everyone must have been looking for him.
"I said you're not going anywhere." William insisted, he had a reason to let go of the woman but now he's healed so don't expect to get away from her again.
"You? is one woman not enough for you ?" Merry again grumbled, if the man was still alone maybe he would have considered it but their circumstances had changed as well as her.
"I don't care." stressed William, the man returned to his original seat and played his phone.
Merry seemed to be sighing violently, he was worried about his family, especially the father who lately is not healthy.
"Then please lend me your cell phone, I want to contact my family" he asked later.
"Take it and tell them you're spending the night with me." William held out his cell phone which was taken violently by the woman.
Merry dialed the number he memorized and did not wait long for his call to be connected.
"Hallo Mom it's me, sorry I just called" he said after the call was connected to his mother's phone, because only the woman's mobile number he memorized.
"Darling, are you okay? we're here to worry about you so much because you suddenly disappeared." asked Sera worriedly.
"Darling, it's me are you okay ?" this time Alan spoke.
"I'm fine, you calm down." Merry tried to convince.
William who was listening seemed to smile cynically, then the man immediately pulled the woman until she sat back on his lap.
And of course it made Merry suddenly screamed in surprise and immediately distanced his phone.
"Darling, are you okay ?" Alan sounded worried.
"Be quiet, don't mess around." threatened Merry by pointing right at William's face and the man only responded with a cynical smile.
Then Merry brought the phone back to her ear. "I'm fine, sorry there was a sudden job so I had to take care of it" he said later.
"Thank God, if you're okay. You're with Anne too because she's also suddenly gone and your cell phone is completely out of touch." Alan wants to make sure.
"I'm fine Al, please apologize to the invitees. When it's done I'll definitely be right back." beg Merry then.
"Well, be careful and call us right away if there's anything." Alan's message, but Merry hasn't responded to it William has taken his phone and ended the call.
"You..." Merry seemed to grumble, he had not had time to ask the situation of his son but the man immediately ended it just like that.
"I hate you so much Will, I hate you so much." cried Merry as he beat the man's chest blindly.
His tears that he had been holding back were now unstoppable and William immediately carried him into his arms.
Merry seemed sobbing, spilling all his disappointment on the man all this time.
"Let's start all over again? I promise I will never leave you again." William later said.
