"You really can't take good care of my daughter." Martin growled at William when he found out Merry had left with Arthur.
"I don't want to argue, my wife's safety is more important." said William, then immediately stepped foot leaving Martin and Alex.
"You..." Alex was visibly furious when he saw William was disrespectful to Martin but his father immediately held him back from pursuing.
"Just let him go, our focus is now on finding Arthur's whereabouts." Martin explained.
"What if Arthur harms Merry? I will definitely not forgive myself for failing to take care of her." Alex seems very guilty, as the eldest brother should be able to protect his younger siblings.
Especially Merry, however Alex also has a debt of gratitude to Martin and Sera for having treated him until he was successful as he is today.
"Calm down, Arthur won't hurt Merry. Because he knew that if anything happened to my daughter, his real goal would not be achieved." said Martin.

"But didn't Daddy ever say, if half of Mr Smith's property would have belonged to Daddy if William and Merry were married ?" Alex tries to remind the father of a will left by Mr. Smith.
Mr. Smith is the father of his mother William, who has been Martin's best friend and adoptive father since Martin fled Indonesia decades ago.
Mr. Smith, who was abandoned by his daughter to marry the man of his choice, eventually gave up his entire estate to Martin before dying.
Mr. Smith also promised half of his property would belong to Martin, if the man managed to find the whereabouts of his granddaughter and marry her off to his daughter.
But for Martin the treasure is no longer important to him now, the man is done with his life goals and now the happiness of his children is more important.
"I'm not going to trade my daughter for treasure, Lex. William has a difficult mental illness and I will not harm my own daughter." - Martin.
"After finding Merry, I'll take her back to Indonesia. We're all going to stay and start a new life there." Martin added.
"Good, Dad. The Daddy company I run there is also starting to grow rapidly." Alex recounts his success while holding his father's company in Indonesia.

"And at that time William must have locked you up." Arthur cynically remembers William would not have stayed silent when Merry suddenly disappeared.

"All right, leave me alone !!" william's orders then as he walked to the bookshelf there, knocking it several times until the shelf shifted and revealed a secret door there that had been successful in making the wife curious.
"Sir...." James seemed to object when the master was about to go in there.
"I order you to leave me, James !!" repeat William in a cold tone that immediately made James forced to leave his master.
But the man did not leave completely, James seemed to lean his body behind the door after coming out of the master's office.
