"Sorry Madame Darrien was a little jammed" said Anne after staring at the clock that was coiled on her wrist, she was only 30 minutes late so why should be in trouble.

"Macet? ck since when the streets in California jammed, if you want to find a slightly logical reason or you are tired of working here ?" furious mistress Darrien.

"What is this ?" suddenly William approached them who immediately made Madame Darrien slightly bow in respect.

"Good morning, Mr. William." said the slightly thick woman.

"For Madame Darrien, what is this ?" william stared at the woman and Anne alternated.

"This new employee often arrives late for various reasons, sir, and you know why he is late today because what? jammed sir, since when California jammed really laughable." said Madame Darrien with a tone of ridicule.

William looked at Anne who looked very tired, it must have been the work of his assistant. "There was a tree that fell and we happened to be one way" he said, which immediately made Anne widen her eyes to look at him, was the boss defending him?

"really sir? Oh my God I don't know. Well Anne you can come into your room now" said Ms. Darrien later.

"Wait for An, do you know where James went this morning I saw his car wasn't in the parking lot ?" ask William to make Anne stop her steps and look at him.

"I don't know, sir" he said, shaking his head.

"Sir, why are you asking that woman. Of course he did not know, this morning Mr. James did not come to the office because there was a sudden business and maybe a new afternoon came after the meeting was over." said Mrs Darrien later.

"really ?" William glanced at Anne.

"True sir, this was early in the morning he called me." said Mrs Darrien again.

"What sudden business does he have? do you know Anne ?" William looked straight at Anne, but the woman immediately shook her head. Anne did not know where her husband was going, it was possible to meet his pregnant lover.

"Oh my God, he knows about Mr. James' business. Mr. James said it was his personal business" Mrs Darrien explained.

"All right." William seemed to sigh for a moment, then the man passed into his room.

"Oh yes An, to my room for a while I want to know the progress of the sale this month." William ordered after stopping his steps and then looked back at the wife of the assistant.

"Okay, sir, I took the files first in my room." Anne gave a small nod then passed into her room and of course followed by the HRD.

"Anne Wijaya, remember lord William and lord James already have a partner so don't be nervous with them. Focus on work and don't try to tease them, otherwise you'll know the consequences." asserted Ms. Darrien after entering the woman's room.

Hearing that Anne seemed to be smiling cynically. "Mrs Darrien you think they are as handsome as I want to tempt them, as long as you know out there there are still many better men and are still single of course. So you don't worry about it, though, but my advice is you better also focus on your own life because your age should be happy with a child and husband is not just busy taking care of other people's relationships." the reply was then and of course it made Madame Darrien instantly inflamed.

"You !!" the woman immediately slapped her slap but swiftly Anne blocked her hand.

"Don't think I can't fight you mistress, our post here is the same. You're HRD and I'm the manager so you don't act like a big boss." said Anne, staring at the woman, then popping her hand.

"Excuse me, the big boss called me" he added, crashing into the woman's shoulder.

"Damn it, look out for you !!"

Mrs Darrien looks very upset, only this time there are employees who dare to fight him.

"Good morning, Mr. William, I have the files you requested. For this month sales tripled sir, please check that I have all recap here." said Anne while putting the files she brought earlier on the table.

"Really, thank you for your hard work An." William did not immediately take the file, but the man looked at the wife of his assistant.

"Sit down there's something I want to talk about !!" later orders.

"Good sir." Anne immediately pulled the chair and threw her body weight there.

"How is your marriage, are you happy ?" asked William to the point which immediately made Anne a little surprised then the woman gave a small nod despite the doubts there.

"You know, I've known James since he was a teenager. Before that he spent his time on the streets without a house and parents, scavenging for leftovers in the trash and sleeping only in newspapers no matter if it was rain or storm." william and Sontak said to make Anne stunned, is really her husband's past as sad as that. If true, it means he is among the lucky people even though since childhood in vain by his stepmother he still has a place to take shelter and can eat with fullness.

"Because of his past he grew up to be a cold and stiff man, I hope you can understand him. Trust me, James also has a soft side if you can be more patient with it." William added again.

Anne nodded small. "I understand sir." he said later.

"Please don't ever leave him whatever happens and for Madame Darrien's matter have you not told her if you are James' wife ?" William looked at the woman before him.

"Better no one knows, sir, I want to show my ability in this office without his shadow." said Anne reassuringly, although he has other reasons but it is better that he himself keeps it anyway less appropriate if household problems should be discussed with others.

"Well, if that's your decision. If you get into trouble don't hesitate to tell me." William's timpal who was immediately nodded by Anne, then the woman immediately resigned herself.

After exiting the man's room, Anne was immediately smitten by the assistant. "Mom's okay? did Mr William scold you ?" ask him impatiently.

"Thank God, by the way, you were very brave against Madame Darrien." praise Andrew later.

"If you don't feel wrong why you should be afraid, Drew." Anne chimed in and put her foot in her room.

"She again, not a meeting soon." Anne grumbled as she looked at her husband, then the woman passed by the window of her room.

"Good morning Mr James ?" greet Andrew kindly, but James only replied with a nod to make the man feel bad and then immediately out of the manager's room and closed the door from outside.

"Who allowed you to work ?" james said, staring at his wife.

"I'm on my own, I feel better so I decided to work." said Anne as she closed her room curtain slightly because it was too glare by the sunlight, but as he was about to turn around suddenly a burly arm hugged him from behind.

"Mr James, this is in the office." Anne immediately reminded.

"Please let it be like this for a while" James said as he drowned his face in the woman's neck, his breathing sounding heavy as if he was carrying a huge burden.

"What's the matter with you, sometimes you act like a very cruel lion but sometimes also like a cat who asks for love ?"
