That morning Elsa woke up when she heard someone's footsteps, then the woman immediately moved from the sofa she used last night as a place to sleep.

At the sight of a nurse changing the infusion bottle belonging to the son, then his gaze turned to the side of the bed Axel where Alex appeared to be asleep in his chair.

It seemed that the man fell asleep while guarding the son overnight, at once he blamed himself for being engrossed in sleep. The effects of the alcohol he drank last night really put him to sleep.

"How is my son doing ?" ask the nurse.

"His fever has begun to fall mistress and your husband is looking after her all night." the nurse chimed in as she glanced at Alex who was still asleep in her chair.

"All right, thank you." Elsa nodded small.

After the nurse leaves, Elsa picks up the blanket she wore last night and uses it to cover Alex.

But that made the man open his eyes. "You're up ?" he said with a distinctive raucous voice waking up.

"Hm, just now. I'm sorry I overslept last night." - Elsa with her guilty face.

"It's okay, next time don't touch that drink again." Alex looked at Elsa firmly.

"I'll do it." said Elsa.

"Not trying, but sure not to touch it again." sidelines Alex as he moved from his seat, after staring at the son who was still asleep.

He did not want his voice to disturb his son's sleep until he moved away from there while talking to his mother.

"Why did you manage me? anyway, whether I drink or not is none of your business, Mr. Alex." Elsa immediately followed the man's steps away from the son.

"But from now on it's going to be my business." Alex insisted later.

"You're Axel's father, but that doesn't mean you're free to manage me as you please." Elsa reminded, because between them there is no relationship other than as a father and his biological mother Axel.

"Did you see the impact of your drinking last night? even Axel is sick you don't know and how will you be able to take care of him ?" Alex was so furious that he left Elsa speechless.

"You don't know what I've been through all this time." Elsa began to lower her voice.

"Hm, everyone." said Alex confidently, then reached out his hand touching the woman's shoulders.

"Trust me, everything will be fine" he said convincingly as he stared intently at the woman's hazel bead.

But the two immediately let go of the grill when they suddenly heard Axel's voice calling out.

"Mommy !!"

Alex and Elsa who seemed wrong behavior immediately passed by his son. "You're awake, baby? tell me which one is sick ?" elsa said worriedly but greeted with a smile by the son, it seemed like the little boy was happy with the closeness of his parents.

"I've healed Mommy." he said later.

"Is Daddy's son really healed ?" this time Alex is going.

"Of course, I will recover if Mommy and Daddy don't fight anymore" Axel said firmly and it makes Alex and Elsa look at each other.

"We promise we won't fight again, dear, is that right Mommy ?" alex looks at Elsa.

"Of course, honey, Mommy and Daddy will not fight anymore" he said making sure that immediately made Axel smile happily.

"So after this we'll stay together right ?" please Axel and suddenly make Elsa swallow her saliva.

"That's impossible baby, Mommy and Daddy will always be your parents but we're not a married couple so can't stay together" he explained later.

"Why don't you just get married ?" please Axel again and at the same time the door of the room appears to be opened from the outside.

"Hi dear, how are you feeling so worried auntie ?" carla said as she stepped closer to them with her worried face.

"My son is fine, Carl, thank you so much for coming" Elsa said with a smile on her face looking at her best friend.

"Thank God." Carla looked relieved and then she turned to look at Alex.

"You've been here since last night ?" he asked with a frown, looking at the man.

"Of course, Daddy's been with me all night." Axel chirped and it made Carla even more clueless.

"Daddy ?" he said with a puzzled face, since when did the little boy call Alex father?

"Carl, I need to talk to you for a minute." Elsa immediately pulled the hand of her best friend and invited him to walk out of the room.

They were in a cafeteria in the hospital. "Ja-so Alex is that jerk guy ?" carla said she did not believe the reality she had just heard.

"Hm, I've been trying so hard to hide everything from you guys, but he's the one who's figuring it out for himself." Elsa gave a small nod and handed over some DNA tests to her best friend.

Carla who saw that was immediately dumbfounded. "What's your next move? are you guys gonna be together ?" he said with a tone of worry, although he did not feel Alex's love for him yet he had already fallen in love with the man.

Elsa shook her head. "You know I never believed in marriage, so I guess we were pretty much parents to Axel without any ties in it" she said.

"But pity Axel, Els. I'm fine if you want to be together, our relationship is not too far away until the risk for heartache is very small. Please live with Alex for the sake of your son." beg Carla with Elsa's hand.

Elsa seemed to sigh for a moment, then the woman shook her head again. "My decision's been unanimous, Carl. Our relationship is only limited to Axel's parents and nothing more" he said later.

"I will always support your decision Els, if you need anything please don't hesitate to tell me." Carla said sincerely.

"Thank you, Carl." Elsa seems grateful to have a friend like that woman, since the first always helped her sincerely and sincerely.

Hopefully the decision is right, he will try to make peace with his heart and hopefully he can work with Alex to be a good parent for Axel even without any romance in it.
