Darren continues to catch up with Erina. He did not want because Tessa's speech made his relationship with Erina become tenuous. Even the one he was worried about Erina ended the relationship with him after learning about it.

"Erina, wait, Erina ... Listen to my explanation first, dear ..."

Darren pulled Erina's wrist, stopping the woman's steps.

"I beg you, listen to my explanation, dear .." said Darren solemnly.

Erina did not want to look at Darren's face at all. He kept turning his face in the other direction.

"I need some space to myself first. Honestly, I was surprised by what Tessa said earlier" Erina said.

"Don't listen to her, baby. He's trying to destroy our relationship. Now look at me." Darren cupped both of Erina's cheeks and stared at both of Erina's eyes beads inside.

Erina still turned her gaze in the other direction, she did not want to look at the face of the man before her.

"Darling, look at me. Look at me, please!"

Darren begged Erina to look him in the eye. He wanted to reassure the woman if what Tessa said was not true.

"Darling, I admit that I'm not a nice guy. Yeah, I admit I always do things like that with the woman who's my secretary. But trust me, you're different, baby. When I use other women just for fun, but not with you. I am serious about this relationship. I wouldn't make you a lover if I messed with you. Please, trust me, baby ..."

Darren tried to explain to Erina if he really meant it. However, Erina remained doubtful of him.

"Now tell me what do I have to do to prove that I'm serious with you? Say it! Say, Erina!"

Erina remained silent. It was hard to believe the words from Darren's mouth. He didn't even know if he meant it or not.

"Well, if you still doubt me. I'll marry you tomorrow. To prove that I'm really serious about you."

Erina's eyes instantly widened. How can I get married so soon?

"Married?"

Darren nodded in confirming.

"I can't" Erina refused.

Darren frowned.

"Why?"

"Marriage is not to be played. Need readiness for that."

"Yes, how about we get married next week? Next month? I'll marry you whenever you're ready."

Erina looked at the face of the man before her. It seems Darren is serious with him. He even invited her to marry him.

"Do you mean it?" erina asked again there was still doubt in her heart.

"Say you want proof to believe that I really mean it!"

Erina speechless. Looks like the guy really meant it to her.

"Yes, I believe you really mean it to me."

The sentence made Darren feel relieved as well as happy. Erina finally wanted to believe him. He will prove it if he is serious. He will be preparing for the wedding from now on.

"I'm going to marry you soon. Later that night we'll have dinner together at my house to discuss our wedding. Mom must've approved of our relationship."

Erina nodded. "Yes." Yeah."

Darren took Erina into his arms. He held the woman's body tightly. The woman who will soon be his wife.

"I love you, baby." said Darren ended with a kiss on the top of Erina's head.

"I love you, too," replied the woman.
